V.099! Mainly Bug fixes and Back end!
🕑 Added 2020-06-01 00:10:50 +0000 UTCYO FOLKS! Here's this month's build :> This one's a bit less content-oriented, and more just a lot of prep for the release of Act 1!
Without further ado!
v0.099 Changelog:
- New input system! This one supports nearly every common gamepad on every OS. (Desktop builds only, though WebGL input support is partially improved too)
- Sound Effects for footsteps, dashroll and swim splashes. (Not fully implemented)
- Gossip greetings. Now the critters will say hi when you gossip with them!
- Idle dialogue so characters always have something to say! (This includes several new Fast Travel conversations for Penny)
- A bunch of minor bugfixes and quest improvements.

On my side, I've been doing a buncha random fixups here 'n there for Act 1, but mainly I've gone ahead and started assets on Act 2! I've included several in the images above. There's also a few more revamps on older systems/features.
Particularly the Important Item Get sequence. Viewable here!
I've also been revamping the title screen! It's not QUITE there yet, but I'm really digging this direction. It's much more readable and legitimate

I was just thinking today wile at work, [I bet there will be a .099 build out soon.] Oh' a little suggestion on the title screen, it may look nice if you had a shade of red filling in the middle of the heart, almost as if the inside of the heart was of a see-through tinted red stain-glass. Just a thought.
I really like the atmosphere that this game has!

Really enjoyed the previous version. I'll resist playing this one just because I think I'd like to hold out until you're at least altogether done with act 1, but it's great so far, love the humour.
