I Try to Build a Battery Charger for a Bicycle Battery
🕑 Added 2023-04-27 16:00:03 +0000 UTCToday I will show you a project with several aspects. Even if you do not need to charge batteries with voltages of 35 volts and above using a solar panel, you will find learnings for your projects. Or you enjoy that not only you encounter some difficulties in your projects.

Hi Trent, Thank you! Just a remark: If you plan to use your car battery to charge the bicycles, you only need a regular boost converter. The voltage of the car battery is stable, not like the solar panels.
Fantastic video Andreas, I really enjoyed this one! As we take our bikes on car trips with us, this could be really usefull. Thanks!

There is not a lot of information on the Amazon page. But I fear it is a very similar design I used and needs a panel with a higher voltage than the battery. I nowhere see the word "boost" nor "MPPT". The battery needs 42 volts for charging, BTW. Only the nominal voltage is 36 volts
not that I have a lot of experience with this topic, but you say in the video, the battery requires 36V - so use a 36V charge controller like this: https://amzn.eu/d/8hHbKaz
