🕑 Added 2022-05-01 21:17:54 +0000 UTCThis month I worked on mainly two things. Both of them included a lot of cleaning up.
At first I just continued work on the demon girl, but as I got to the end of concepting and modeling, I had to start fixing things up. I didn't feel like doing that though, so I instead worked on cleaning up the Unity project instead. I basically re-arranged the whole project structure to be feature based. This made it easy to clean up and delete all the old leftover code files that I don't use anymore. It also helped with cutting out parts that I don't want to keep in the game anymore, for example cutscenes. Sure, a lot of work went into them this far, but I'd rather add sex animations in game that in cutscenes.
Once I got done with the project cleaning, I got back to working on the girl. I had to make several updates to the rig. Some were just her specific modifications like long ears, different face shape or flapping clothing bits. Other changes were more general to address some issues I've run into with other girls before. For example some thigh and ass rotating issues.
Then I had to fix or add weight paints. For the face I did it fresh by hand. Clothing needed some as well, even though for that it can copy most of the weights from the body itself. I also tried out some blender add-ons to see how much they help with the whole process. Not too much, but that's probably because I have most things already setup.
UV unwrapping went fast as I've already learned many useful tricks while working on previous girls. I also am using a UV packing add-on that saves me hours of tedious annoying work.
Finally once all these technical middle steps are done, I'm back to a more creative process, texturing. I'm still experimenting around with the specific colors or details I want to add. Currently I've only done the skin and hair textures.
During May I want to get all the texturing done and the demon girl in game. I'm not sure if I'd get to adding any special gameplay logic to her yet. I might want to clean up the gameplay code before I get to that. I might instead do some sex animations with the robots instead though.

Oh I was just making some quick renders to show off the character in nice lights. The end goal is to have a character in the game, with all the usual animations.

Ish, I was wondering if the plan was for CG images or if you were doing animated scenes in regards to this post. Still catching up on stuff.
What do you mean? Like month of May work? This far I've actually focused on many other things, so animations aren't too far.
