I feel like this is an underrated movie. You are right that it is pretty full, and probably would have been helped by trying to do less, but I think it did a decent job, given all it had to do.

Such a fun rewatch! Havent seen this in years. I remember enjoying this a lot in the theaters when I took my brother to see it. Favorite moments...when John going against that whole army while flashbacks of him burying his family wow that stuck with me! You're right it's such an awesome sci-fi fantasy movie that has all the elements for a fun time. It sucks not enough people saw it. But hopefully we can pick back up where we left off. Tron legacy gained a sequel and that to bombed at the box office so who knows!

I felt like I was the only one who loved this movie when it came out; it didn't make enough money so everyone just starting dumping on it: I saw it 3 times - is it because love is stronger at a distance? Plus, the story is over a hundred years old, it's gonna be predictable, which was it's biggest complaint. Great watch!
