🕑 Added 2025-08-26 03:44:18 +0000 UTCOkay, I'm not going to spoil the ending BUT I had a lot of emotions by the end of this film! This was such a fun movie. Jim Hawkins is the perfect restless adventure seeker to take us through this space pirate movie! This is a real hidden gem of a film. It's also so much fun to try to figure out who the voice actors are. This film had a surprisingly big cast!

That's so cool! I hadn't connected the two stories. Now I need to see an official Treasure Island movie.

Now that I know it's him, the narration takes a much different tone in my head! It sounds like Frollo is reading a book to children.

The basic story came from the book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson publish in 1883.

Tony Jay voiced the Narrator. He also voiced Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. :). Makes an interesting watch when you watch them close together. Because you instantly recognize that voice, but he's not evil in this one. Just narrating. Haha!
