This is such a great Irving episode! I really think there’s something deeper with Helena. I think she has her own innie side that she has to keep quiet in her life as an Eagen. I think back to her scene in the stairwell of episode 2, saying to Milchick “I really don’t want to be in there, do I?” It’s a very different attitude than her on video…. Maybe she wishes she could do what Helly does so easily. During Irving’s vision…when he’s getting lost at staring at the numbers, you can see letters mix in…specifically E-A-G-A-N…and they vaguely take the shape of a face. That’s what told him who Helly really was….

At first I thought Helena felt it necessary to infiltrate the severed floor to willfully disengage the budding passion between Mark & Helly R., but it seems that Helena wants Mark for herself. Perhaps Helena was envious about their connection, & wanted to experience it.
