Anyone who thinks these characters are one-dimensional should learn to "be curious, not judgmental". It's a good life lesson, even though it's not really from Walt Whitman. I mean, it's a large cast so not every character gets fully developed, but all the main cast are well-written and brilliantly acted, and they're all nuanced, realistic characters.

Wow, you have an excellent grasp of Nate and Ted and what makes them who they are and what they do. I love the characters in this show. It's so funny to me that one of the main criticisms I see against this show, is that the characters are supposedly "one-dimensional". I think that says a lot more about the reviewers than about the show. 😅
