Wow, that is a huge shift for the MCU. I'm surprised Kang didn't continue being the villain, just played by a different actor. They introduced the concept of variants, which allows characters to be played by more than one actor now. But, maybe that wouldn't have worked.

That makes sense that Kang was supposed to be the new ultimate threat. I'm interested to see what they do now that the actor won't be continuing with the story.

So the Villian in the end Kang was the new big bad of Mcu replacing Thanos, but due to the actor's personal life issue, sMCU had to course correct. But I loved him as Kang and the way he acted.

It's a shame that, due to the March 2023 situation, Marvel had to course-correct and move in a new direction away from his character moving forward. There was a private meeting with the creatives behind the MCU, where they decided to shift focus. Originally, the next stage of Marvel was going to center around Jonathan Majors' character in the upcoming Avengers films, which were initially titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). However, these plans are no longer in place. Instead, we are now getting Avengers: Doomsday (2026), along with Avengers: Secret Wars (2027), which has retained its name. So yeah, it's crazy how the actions of one actor can completely change the direction of the MCU.

It really.. really doesn't matter. There are 2 lines in the movie related to Loki S2, that's it and does not impact the movie experience at all. TVA agents in DvW is just a rogue section, doesn't matter what happens in Loki S2.

I wouldn't go that far. You really just need to know who the TVA is for that one and she watched season one like a year ago. Mr. Paradox is barely related to anything and seeing Hunter B whatever in a higher position is like a tiny easter egg.
