I have a completely unexpected surprise for you! Turns out, I have NOT seen all the Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, like I thought. So, to rectify that and to get to Spider-Man: No Way Home as fast as possible, I thought it would be fun to do a Spider-Man movie marathon to lead us into 2025!
This week we are going to be watching all of the Toby Maguire films. I saw the first two about twenty years ago but the third one is going to be a first time reaction!!!
Next week, I'll watch the Andrew Garfield films and then Spider-Man: No Way Home to kick off the new year. I saw the first Andrew Garfield film but I never saw the second one! I'm so glad I caught this before going into No Way Home!
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will also be posted this week, along with early access YouTube edits for The Muppet Christmas Carol and Loki S1 E3.

The 2002 Spider-Man movie is the only movie I've seen 5 times in theater in is initial run... yes in the 1970s I had the Spider-Man action figure with the fabric costume. Yes in the 70s we called them costumes.

Thereβs a time and place for everything so letβs not incite a pointless Spider-Man debate in her comment section, we all have our favorite Spider-Man preferences but in the end it does not matter because sheβs watching all of them. And keep in mind she has not seen Spider-Man 3, so you should avoid commenting spoilers.

This is the epitome of a marathon getting through 2 ok films and finishing off with emo Peter/pointless and lazily written Gwen Stacy arrrrgggggggg. Sorry Toby fans he is only the no.2 best Peter Parker and no.3 best Spiderman. P.S. I grew up with the Toby films even had them on DVD, I just don't feel the same way about his portrayal anymore.

Facts, canβt skip the two best ones. Also, to help her not get mixed up with the order I would like to add that Into the Spider-Verse (2018) should be after The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Across the Spider-Verse (2023) should be after No Way Home so that the references in ATSV doesnβt spoil No Way Home.

I am glad you are checking these out before watching No Way Home, I have seen others skip these just to keep with the current movies. Same with people missing all of the Xmen and (FOX Studios) other Marvel movies, before starting Wolverine and Deadpool. People really miss a lot of backstory and jokes/references by skipping the original movies. Also don't skip on the 2 animated movies Into The Spiderverse, and Across the Spiderverse.
