True but only minorly. There’s one line where they say essentially “the TVA has changed” but paradox and his section of the tva are villains in the movie so it still kinda lines up with season 1. I don’t think it’ll confuse her much or spoil anything super major The actual plot and emotional stakes will still be unspoiled

No, but it does spoil Loki season 2 which is even more painful. Other reactors have made this mistake, but nowhere near as bad as Don Townsend. He didn’t watch certain X-Men films including Logan 2017.

Half the reactors I have seen goes, whats that, whos that so. Just so you know by going ohh you need to watch this and this and this, is a spoiler on it's own, because you are literally saying ohhh this is going to be in this movie thanks.

imperfect example: I see data saying D+ reports around 10-12 million views for Loki over it's various premiers and finales over whatever they set the timeframe at. Number of D&W tickets sold is saying at around 120 million. A lot of weird factors go into both of those #'s (repeat ticket sales, multiples of peeps watching D+, etc), but safe to say the by-far majority of people watching have never seen *any* Loki show. And I'm positive most people watching never saw most of the other Fox movies from referenced characters. Hell, half the people I watched with had never seen Deadpool and/or DP2, they just wanted to be included in the current "fun movie to watch with friends" everybody was buzzing about.

Yea that is weird so many people told her its ok to not watch anything else beforehand, i mean this movie is litterally a love letter to the Fox universe which if not for them the MCU would never exist.

I am also kind of surprised we're getting DP&W so soon, she will for sure be confused on some stuff but i think she'll be fine for 70% or so of it just seeing the Xmen/DP movies. I honestly dont blame her tbh for not wanting to wait and watch it in release order, the hype for that movie is off the charts.

It's because it is okay. Guarantee 90%+ of the people watching D&W haven't seen all the stuff referenced, and probably a big portion never seen any of the Loki D+ show.
