The first time that I watched this, I was on the edge of my seat! And when Ty Lee pops Azula in the side with that first jab- I SCREAMED with joy. I love Azula (she's a fantastic and smart villain), but I love Ty Lee- she's my most favorite character. And for her to choose Mai was the BEST outcome ever. Azula was caught totally off-guard... a "betrayal" that was the final straw that starts everything that follows with her character. I honestly feel bad for her to be raised the way she was... Mai and Ty Lee were her only tethers to a "normal happy life"... and this showed her that she was on the wrong path in a very real, and upsetting-to-her way.
