This was such a fun episode...until the very end. I did not fully understand the impact the last few seconds of this episode would have on the What If universe until the next episode.
Wow! All I can say is, enjoy the fun times while they last because the next two episodes are EPIC!

Party Thor is such a perfect concept of Thor's character had he never been exiled.

The original idea behind this episode was what if Thor was evil and never exiled. When the headwriter Ashley Bradley was approached with the idea, she said she didn’t view Thor as an evildoer but rather a douchebag. That led to the creation of Party Thor. In the main timeline Thor still has his comical moments, but he does take his role seriously. Particularly in Ragnarok, he didn’t let Loki get the better of him. He also did his part to save his people from extinction.
