While shooting an epic war film, the actors get dropped off into a real jungle in order to create a more authentic performance. With hidden cameras capturing their experiences, the actors accidentally find themselves in a real war zone. Will they be able to survive? Will they be able to finish their movie? And most importantly, will they ever get TiVo?

Yeah, he took a weird turn towards classic hero action star. Not that he doesn't do it well, but it feels like he has something to prove with the whole, "I do all my own stunts" trope but I don't hate the films. They are mindless fun. I loved his younger stuff like Risky Business, Top Gun and Interview with a Vampire.

In my opinion. This is the greatest comedy/satire film ever made. Ben Stiller knocked it out of the park.

At the time I don't think I had any idea he was in the movie 😅 but I recognized him right away. Other than Tropic Thunder. The movies I like Tom Cruise in are Days of Thunder and Legend.

Tropic Thunder is such a hilarious movie! 😅 I'm not the hugest Tom Cruise fan but even he was great in this movie. As was everyone else.
