My mom and I were talking about my childhood dog Kodi and I mentioned that it was such a shame he never enjoyed watching movies. Some dogs love watching movies, especially when animals are on screen. That's when she told me that there was one movie he would pay attention to and that was All Dogs Go To Heaven! I decided I had to watch it immediately!
This film was a tearjerker. Maybe it was because I was thinking of my dog while watching it? Get some tissues ready because you are about to see some dogs go to heaven!
All Dogs Go To Heaven is a 1989 animated film starring Burt Reynolds. It's about a casino owning dog named Charlie who gets killed by his partner Carface. He is able to return to Earth to seek revenge but ends up meeting an orphan named Anne-Marie. He has to decide whether he will help her find parents or continue his revenge plans.

A) That movie gave me a life-long fear of bodies of water. The Poseidon/Neptune/Water god guy? I don't even care if that was Fievel projecting intent onto waves, it still got me. Great movie. Really great movie. B) I think mine might be The Land Before Time, just because of that Diana Ross end-credits song. Just using that song as a way to sum everything up...

Nah, Jax, Cody probably saw this, with the doggo hating on the girl, and he was like, "Buddy, get your head out of your butt. And I'm not referring to your bathing habits." Jax: I thought this would be a fun little dog movie. Me: Silly, silly Jax. :D

I think you missed the reference... when Killer says he has a gun he tells Carface it's a "Flash Gordon" ray gun. Have you not seen Flash Gordon?

When I watched this as a kid, I cried so hard and was convinced that my childhood dog was going to die and that I wouldn't be able to go with her. My mom never let me watch this movie again and even as a mid 30s adult, I don't know if I can handle it haha. You're such an angel Jax!

This one is very nostalgic for me. Me and my siblings wore out the VHS from watching it so much. Don Bluth movies were my childhood. I am looking forward to revisiting this!
