2001: A Space Odyssey (Full Reaction)
🕑 Added 2024-07-16 02:30:24 +0000 UTCIt's time for another MOVIE MONDAY!! This was a wonderful and weird movie! It's not the easiest to summarize, but I'll do my best without spoiling anything. Beautiful imagery and epic music are woven together through a loosely narrated film that explores themes of our evolution, AI, and superior extraterrestrials.
I loved this film! It's very clear that 2001: A Space Odyssey set the stage for a lot of science fiction films. We've seen everything from Wall-E to Marvel films build upon concepts that were explored throughout this story. It was told in such an innovative and unique way. There was very little dialogue and yet the film had a lot to say.
I was so eager to know more about this film, so I read an article that explored what the film was about. You'll see it if you watch the wrap up. Reading through the film's interpretation really helped to solidify my interpretation of the story. Let me know what you think of it!

This movie was fascinating, I understand how Rock Hudson felt.
