The story continues the quest of the Fellowship of the Ring as they face various challenges and dangers in the land of Middle-earth. The film explores the separate journeys of Frodo and Sam, the conflict at Helm's Deep, and the growing darkness threatening the realm.

Thereβs something really special about books that are made into film and are done well. So much nostalgia ππΎ

I love this moment, but it also feels very outside the world. The world of Middle Earth feels very medieval fiction, or like something out of Norse legend. Neither of those cultures were writing in the context of a modern understanding of neural anatomy. So while it could easily be said that maybe Dwarves know neural anatomy well enough, it just hits wrong for me in hindsight. :)
