The scene where Gollum and Frodo fighting over the Ring was chosen for being dramatic. They ultimately decided to lean into Evil ultimately being self destructive, where the Ring's tool of temptation and manipulation ultimately leads to them fighting over the Ring and falling into the lava.

One more thing, I also noticed one of the fans requested Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. You can watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse but it's too soon to watch Across the Spider-Verse so it would be best to wait for that movie. I cannot reveal the reason because this information contains spoilers. I'll let you know when you can watch Across the Spider-Verse.
