Naruto Pokemon chapter 197
🕑 Added 2024-12-16 12:44:31 +0000 UTCChapter 197 What is this?
As soon as Kaito came out of the sea carrying the petrified body of Akimichi Torifu, several Kirigakure ninjas immediately surrounded him.
"Captain, the support troops have arrived."
"Captain Mirukawa, the ninjas that attacked Konoha have all retreated, and our people who went out and Captain Kaguya's people have all returned."
Seeing these people surrounding so closely, Kaito quickly waved his hand to ask them to move aside.
"Go away, are you digging a well here? Get out of the way."
After Kaito jumped out of the water and stood steadily, he began to speak.
"Let's go back to the aircraft carrier first."
After saying that, he carried the stone statue of Akimichi Torifu and walked in front.
Just as he boarded the deck of his own aircraft carrier, Kaito was surrounded by a group of people again.
"Captain Mirukawa! My ship!"
Kaguya Rosso walked up with an angry face.
In fact, this guy has a relatively good temper among the Kaguya clan.
However, anyone who came back from an attack and saw that his flagship had been destroyed beyond recognition would probably find it difficult to control his temper.
After all, when two aircraft carriers are on a mission together, they have the responsibility to support each other.
What's more, the aircraft carrier of Kaito's squadron was still intact.
However, Kaito didn't waste any words and waved his hand to interrupt the other party.
"First of all, this is the village's ship. It's the flying unit's ship."
Kaguya Rosso obviously didn't buy it.
Instead, the anger became even stronger.
Who would have thought that Kaito would directly take off the stone statue of Akimichi Torifu that he was carrying and throw it in front of Kaguya Rosso.
"Secondly, the death of Akimichi Torifu, the elite jonin of the Akimichi clan and the leader of Konoha attack team, is that enough to appease Rosso-senpai?"
Looking at the lifelike stone statue in front of him, Kaguya Rosso's anger disappeared instantly. His mouth moved slightly, but he did not open it in the end.
"Well, actually the damage to my squadron's aircraft carrier wasn't too serious, it can still be repaired."
Seeing that the other party stopped talking nonsense, Kaito turned to look at the other people.
He knew the faces of everyone in the Flying Unit, even the maintenance personnel responsible for cleaning the equipment.
These unfamiliar-looking people are naturally the reinforcements coming from the camp.
However, he had met almost all the ninjas in the camp, so how could the
one leading the support team be a stranger?
'Has Yagura changed his character? Didn't he act like whoever dared to touch the flying unit would be the murderer of his father? Why didn't he lead the support team this time?'
However, there was no need for Kaito to ask.
After noticing his gaze, the leading ninja immediately began to explain.
"Jōnin Kaito, there was a large-scale battle between our frontline troops and Konoha and Kumogakure troops. Yagura-sama has already led most of the ninjas in the camp to provide support half an hour ago."
"Currently, only Kushimaru-sama is in command. He wants your two flying units to return home as soon as possible to rest and then rush to the front line to provide support."
Kaito was slightly stunned when he heard the news.
‘I called for support, but now I have to go to support? No wonder there are not many people coming to support, and most of them are Chunin and Genin.’
‘No! Where did Kumogakure come from?’
The thought just flashed through his mind quickly, but time was urgent, so Kaito did not immediately ask for details.
Instead, he immediately opened his mouth and shouted.
"Maintenance team! Maintenance team!"
The leader of a maintenance team on the aircraft carrier No. 3 immediately jumped onto the deck and respectfully took orders.
"Captain Mirukawa!"
"How is the repair of aircraft carrier No. 3 going? Can it be driven back to the camp?"
The leader of the maintenance team wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and spoke cautiously after hearing this.
"Captain Mirukawa, the damage to aircraft carrier No. 3 is quite serious. I'm afraid we have to return to the front-line camp to be fully repaired."
After saying this, he looked at Kaguya Rosso, who had a strange look in his eyes, and added quickly.
"However, the leakage of the aircraft carrier No. 3 has been resolved and it can be towed back to the port by the aircraft carrier No. 2. We have made similar plans before."
Kaito nodded after hearing this and did not continue to embarrass the other party.
Then he gave the order.
"First, we will tow and connect. The maintenance team will continue to repair the third aircraft carrier to avoid any problems on the way back."
"The rest of you will all board on the three intact ships and wait for orders. Return at full speed!"
"Yes!" xN
Everyone immediately agreed.
Kaito thought for a moment and turned back to look at Kaguya Rosso beside him, and spoke very sincerely.
"Rosso-senpai, is this arrangement okay for you?"
Kaguya Rosso looked around, seeing that everyone, including his own team members, had already started to work in an orderly manner, and said with gritted teeth.
"You kid, come back and fight me!"
However, as if she had thought of something, Kaguya Rosso added another sentence.
"Ground battle!"
After saying this, Kaguya Rosso ignored the others' expressions of trying not to laugh, and walked down the deck angrily and entered the cabin.
Kaito shook his head and laughed when he saw this.
Looking at the ninjas who had already started to board the ship one after another, it was fortunate that the remaining three ships were large enough, otherwise these people would have to run back on the sea.
‘But could it be that Konoha is behind this Kumogakure intervention? Or is the timing of their attack just too coincidental?’
Thinking of this, Kaito waved his hand and stopped the team leader who wanted to cooperate with the support troops to board the ship.
“I haven’t asked yet.”
"Jōnin Mirukawa, my name is Gu Izu, I was transferred to the front line after being promoted to jonin a while ago."
Kaito looked at this guy who spoke so politely and never expected that he was also a jonin.
It’s not that he looks down on this middle-aged uncle, but the senior ninjas on the front line are more or less qualified to attend the meetings, and Kaito must have seen them all.
However, he did not dwell on this matter too much and continued to ask for the information he wanted to know.
"Jonin Gu, what's going on with Kumogakure? We haven't had any conflicts with each other before, right?"
As the ship started moving, the senior ninja named Gu Izu also gave Kaito a brief account of the current situation.
However, since he had only arrived at the frontline these past two days when Kaito led the Flying Unit on a mission, he was not very clear about many things.
According to him, several teams from Kirigakure encountered stubborn resistance when they attacked the Konoha outpost last night.
The teams immediately sent out signals.
Several surrounding teams that were carrying out mopping-up missions rushed there together, destroyed the Konoha outpost, and continued to chase the fleeing ninjas.
However, during the pursuit, these ninjas ran into the encirclement set up by the Kumogakure Troops.
Although Kumogakure and Kirigakure were both fighting against Konoha, there had never been any talk of an alliance between them.
As long as someone takes the first step, no one will be polite.
The result was that the three-way battle continued to expand, and nearby ninjas arrived one after another to join the battle.
By this morning, even Yagura had to lead a large force to provide support.
Otherwise, in the event of a three-way fight, whichever side has fewer troops will inevitably be cleared out first by the other two.
This has also led to the current situation where the Kirigakure frontline camp is seriously short of troops.
Kaito was speechless and held his forehead with his hands after hearing this.
"What is this all about?"
