Although there were more than a dozen ninjas from Konoha this time.
However, the overall strength is not strong.
Kaito probably didn't know that it was the Seven Ninja Swordsmen who were causing trouble here.
They should be troops who heard the sounds of the previous battle and came to investigate.
However, after Might Guy and the other two go back to report the situation, Konoha will definitely not miss the opportunity to get rid of all the ninja swordsmen in one go.
So when the last Jonin was quickly killed by the four ninja swordsmen who arrived at the end.
Kaito simply threw some homemade healing medicines to Hana and Spider, letting them bandage and treat themselves.
Kaito flapped his wings and flew into the air, looking around for the surrounding situation.
Although this dense forest environment is not friendly to Kaito who has no Perception Ability, if there is a large army marching, he will be able to see some clues.
"There is no large force following yet. These people may be from a nearby outpost and came to investigate the situation."
Kaito did not fly in the air for too long. After landing, he immediately reported the situation to Kushimaru.
After hearing this, Kushimaru didn't plan to waste time cleaning up the battlefield.
At this time, there is no need to conceal their identity. Leaving early will give them a better chance of survival.
So he gave the order immediately.
"Withdraw!"
Kisame came to Kaito and threw the ninja tool bags of two Konoha ninjas at him.
Kaito didn't have time to check it, so he just hung it around his waist.
The group ignored the corpses of Konoha ninjas lying on the ground and quickly retreated towards Kirigakure.
On the way, Kisame, who was always not far from Kaito, suddenly spoke.
“Tea is dead.”
"???"
Kaito, who was on his way, looked back at Kisame in confusion, wondering why he suddenly brought this up.
Tea is another Anbu member of Team Hana. Kaito had already made some guesses when he didn't see the other party when he went to support just now.
Perhaps he had been besieged and killed by the Konoha ninjas before Kisame and Harpoon arrived.
After all, the other party was only at the elite Chunin level and was not very familiar with Kaito, so he didn't care about it.
It is too normal for Anbu ninjas to die when they are on missions.
Kisame also noticed Kaito's confusion and began to explain.
"When I first joined the Anbu, he was the one who familiarized me with the job."
"Tea-san is a very nice man."
Kaito looked at Kisame who fell silent after saying this, and didn't know how to comfort him.
Before, when they were at the Anbu base, Kaito did not notice that Kisame had any excessive communication with the other party. He did not expect that the two had such a relationship.
"This is what it means to be a ninja."
Kaito could only say this dryly in the end, and he didn't know if it could be considered as words of comfort.
Kisame simply said "hmm" and continued on his way.
Looking at the other person's back, Kaito sighed silently in his heart.
‘He is still a young version of Kisame after all. He is far from being able to execute his teammates without batting an eyelid in the future.’
However, it seems that Kisame is a person with rich emotions, but other people are often deceived by his ferocious appearance.
Two days later.
"Fang Passing Fang!" (Fang Over Fang)
Two high-speed rotating black tornadoes twisted in the air and rushed towards Kaito.
The next moment.
Two giant axes, one black and one blue, were placed in front of Kaito, accurately blocking both black tornadoes.
The attackers in the tornado were also killed on the spot by the sharp axe blades.
"Bang~"
A cloud of smoke exploded.
A huge black hound and the body of a female ninja from the Inuzuka clan fell to the ground.
"Konoha's ninjas are endless!"
After Harpoon shook off the blood on the axe, he couldn't help but curse inwardly.
Less than half a day after Kaito and his group left the vicinity of Konohagakure, they were continuously attacked by the pursuing ninjas sent by Konohagakure.
Even though most of them were from the Anbu and had excellent anti-tracking skills.
But they could not withstand the various perception and tracking ninjutsu used by the Konoha ninjas.
Fortunately, with the flying ninja Kaito and Biwa Juzo who was proficient in perception ninjutsu, the group was never surrounded by Konoha's real large force.
But even so, all eight people in the group were injured and their condition was never fully recovered.
Oh, as for why there were eight people, it was because Spider, who was the weakest in the group, was killed by the Konoha ninja who caught up with him on the first day of his escape.
In order to retrieve his body and prevent Konoha from getting more information, several people wasted a lot of time.
Kaito still feels a bit of a pity about the death of Spider. It's rare to have such an interesting guy in the Anbu.
However, it was Spider's death that served as a warning to others.
Even the four ninja swordsmen who were usually very arrogant had to concentrate throughout the journey and did not dare to be careless in the slightest.
As for Kaito, the only medical ninja who also has the ability of flying reconnaissance, he is closely protected by everyone.
Now, unless it is necessary, there is no need for Kaito to take action. Harpoon and Kisame will always protect him.
In order to help Kaito save chakra and treat everyone.
"Doctor Lu, we found some medicine in the enemy's ninja tool bag."
Kaito took the things handed to him by Kisame and quickly looked through them. In the end, he only picked out a few ordinary military pills to share with everyone.
Somewhat helplessly, he put the remaining pills into another pocket.
"These are the only ones that can be used. The others are veterinary medicines."
After all, he is a ninja from the Inuzuka clan, so it is understandable that he carries so many animal medicines.
Kaito turned his gaze towards the corpse of the female ninja from the Inuzuka clan.
‘Just now I seemed to hear another Konoha ninja call her Tsume? Or was it Shume?’
'Forget it, it doesn't matter.'
There was no time to think about it. After taking some supplements, everyone set off again.
While walking, Kaito did not forget to quickly form seals and cast Aqua Ring to heal everyone.
"We are about to reach the border of the Land of Fire. Once we reach the surface of the sea, the ninjas of Konoha will no longer pursue us."
"And the information should have been passed to the front-line camp long ago. Maybe there will be ninjas from the front line to support us without having to go to the sea."
Everyone's condition was not good. The continuous battles not only brought them physical fatigue, but also kept their minds in a tense state.
Even Kushimaru, who was usually relatively silent, had to speak up and explain the situation to Boost everyone's morale.
However, just as he finished speaking.
A hoarse voice that was not loud seemed to cross space and appeared in everyone's ears.
"I don't think you need to wait for support."
"Why not just stay in the Land of Fire!"
