"Blue!"
Kaito ran to Blue angrily and picked him up.
He rubbed the little frog's head randomly.
"Heh, heh, you actually dared to betray your master's information."
Not knowing what was going on, Blue struggled hard in Kaito's arms, making aggrieved noises from time to time.
Even Mei and Zabuza looked at Kaito with puzzled expressions.
Feeling that the atmosphere seemed a little wrong, Kaito quickly let go of Blue in his arms with some embarrassment and looked at the two of them.
"Well, so it wasn't Blue who informed you that I would come over?"
Mei looked at Kaito with an idiotic look on her face.
Zabuza was even more direct and spoke coolly.
"Perception ninjutsu."
For a moment, the training ground suddenly fell into silence.
At this moment, Kaito wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
He looked cautiously at Blue in front of him, but the little frog simply turned his head away.
"Quack!"
Looking at Kaito who was trying to appease Blue with a flattering face.
Mei and Zabuza looked at each other and thought of the same thing at the same time.
'Is it really necessary to argue with this idiot?'
I don’t know what promise Kaito made, but he finally got Blue’s forgiveness.
The little frog continued to run to the Bubble mat, thinking about how to make use of the Bubble.
After comforting Blue, Kaito turned around and looked at his two former teammates.
In fact, it cannot be completely said that they are former teammates.
After all, when ordinary ninjas become Anbu, there will be no open explanation, which is also a means of protecting Anbu members.
Therefore, Kaito is actually still considered the Chunin captain of this team, and there is no problem even if he leads the team to accept the mission now.
"Um, Ao-sensei has told you about my situation, right?"
"Ao-sensei told us a few days ago that you had joined the ANBU, but could you at least say hello?"
Mei said this while making a face at Kaito.
Although Mei still complained, she actually knew in her heart that the work of the Anbu was not something that a newcomer like Kaito could decide.
It is even less likely that the Third Mizukage's orders would be delayed, and he had no time to inform his teammates, which only shows that Kaito himself was working harder.
Today, Mei launched a sneak attack with Zabuza just to vent her emotions a little bit, and by the way, let Kaito see the results of their training over the past few days.
It was Zabuza who was standing aside.
Although he didn't say it, a hint of envy could be seen in his eyes.
Joining the Anbu and becoming one of the seven ninja swordsmen are the goals that Zabuza set for himself.
Now not only does Kaito have a weapon that is no less powerful than the Seven Ninja Swords, he has also joined the Anbu first. This makes Zabuza once again begin to reflect on whether he is not working hard enough.
Kaito, who was unaware of the situation, was more concerned about what Mei had said before.
"Did Ao-sensei actually just mention ANBU?"
"What else? It's not something that can be kept secret."
Kaito thought so too.
A living person suddenly leaves the team. We can't say that he is dead.
But they still have the nerve to say that Kirigakure pursues a secret policy. Kaito really doesn't know to what extent the Anbu of other villages can maintain confidentiality.
"Okay, it's a rare break for me, so I can spend a few days with you guys to practice."
"By the way, Mei, you seem to have performed the Melting Ninjutsu just now. Was it developed recently?"
Mei felt a little embarrassed when she heard this.
"My father helped me improve the Water Bullet Jutsu into Melting Ninjutsu."
With a teammate like Kaito who develops new ninjutsu every other day, Mei feels a little embarrassed to talk about her own small achievements.
But speaking of this, Mei once again thought of the flying ninjutsu that Kaito had just performed.
"Kaito, that ninjutsu you just used..."
However, as soon as she opened her mouth, Mei felt a little regretful.
This kind of thing of inquiring into the other person's abilities is obviously not polite.
Kaito didn't care. He poured chakra into his back, and the green chakra wings appeared behind him again.
Having learned from the previous two lessons, Kaito carefully controlled his wings and did not fly directly into the sky.
“It’s beautiful.”
Looking at the wings emitting a faint fluorescent light, Mei's eyes lit up and she exclaimed in admiration.
Zabuza, who was standing by, turned his head away because of the impact just now, and muttered quietly.
"It's just average!"
"Hehe." Kaito smiled and didn't care.
This was also the first time he carefully observed the 'Gale Wings'.
Although the wings are made of chakra, they have feathers like those of bird wings.
If it weren't for being completely translucent and emitting a faint glow, it would be impossible to tell the difference between it and real wings.
Kaito reached out and touched it gently.
The palm of the hand passes directly through them, and the pair of wings seem to have no substance. If you close your eyes, you can only vaguely feel a breeze blowing through your palm.
'It doesn't look like it can be used as a means of attack or defense.'
Kaito thought silently in his heart.
However, this type of wings is not without advantages. At least when flying at low altitudes, there is no need to worry about the "Gale Wings" causing unnecessary collisions in complex environments.
However, Kaito still wanted to test it again, and asked his two teammates for help.
"Mei, Zabuza. I will try to fly again later. Please help me throw shurikens at me."
"Do you want to practice dodging? But you should still fly steadily first before taking the next step, right?"
In response to Mei's question, Kaito could only give a vague answer.
"I guess so. Don't worry, I have healing ninjutsu, you can attack me without worry."
Since 'Gale Wings' did not impart any knowledge, Kaito himself only had a vague understanding of this principle.
I simply don't bother to find reasons to explain myself.
"Okay, I'm taking off!"
Looking at his teammates excitedly, Kaito prepared to make another attempt.
Mei and Zabuza also took out their shurikens, ready to vent their anger.
The next moment.
Kaito slightly adjusted his wings, and before he even started flapping them, his feet had already slowly left the ground.
Although this time I wanted to test whether the wings of the "Gale Wings" that were fully exerted would become more solid and have some defensive or offensive capabilities.
But being able to hover in the air still made Kaito smile with some joy.
‘Sure enough, this kind of flying is not scientific at all! But I like it!’
However, before Kaito could be happy any longer.
Zabuza, who had been waiting for a long time, instantly threw the shuriken in his hand at Kaito who was still grinning foolishly in the air.
"Don't! Not now!"
Seeing Zabuza throwing the shuriken with a strange expression, Kaito hurriedly wanted to speak up to stop him.
In a hurry, Kaito once again waved his chakra wings with all his strength.
In an instant, the flapping of the two wings created a strong gust of wind.
Not only did it blow several shurikens off course, it also caused Mei and Zabuza, who were nearby, to stagger as well.
Of course, the one who was even more unlucky was Kaito himself.
Once again, it shot directly into the sky without any warning.
Fortunately, with the previous experience, Kaito did not adjust the posture randomly when taking off this time.
Even for a pair of wings, Kaito only used part of his energy to control them slightly, and slowly adjusted his direction to avoid directly hitting a tree or falling to the ground.
However, Kaito's cautious mode of action is unlikely to stop him from flying into the sky like a rocket.
"Ahh! Zabuza! I will be back!"
