🕑 Added 2024-11-09 12:08:22 +0000 UTCChapter 219 Esdeath Enters
At the beginning of the Kendo Tournament.
Kai was teasing the red-haired girl who was approaching him.
At this moment, he was sitting on the white stone steps, which served as both a staircase and a seat, quite convenient. On both sides of him were Esdeath and Darlene.
Further away was Scarlett, and Yamato was sitting directly in his arms.
There was a large empty space around him, but no one felt anything was wrong, as if it was natural.
At the same time, people around them basically treat Kai and his friends as ordinary people.
"So, you want me to help you become Retsu's disciple? Then, what kind of reward can you offer?"
Kai asked with a smile on his face.
At the same time, his slender fingers circled around the curved horns on Yamato's head in his arms, as if stroking a pet.
Yamato also leaned peacefully on Kai. She felt that her heart would become quiet and peaceful if she stayed in Kai's arms for a long time.
It was an incredible feeling, as if the world had quieted down.
No wonder Hancock and the others always like to stick to Brother Kai. What would it feel like to fall asleep in Brother Kai's arms at night?
Yamato's mind couldn't help but swirl.
It's just that she felt a little itchy on the horn of her head, which is a relatively sensitive area for her.
She couldn't help but snuggle into Kai's arms, like a little animal enjoying being petted.
Reward?
Although he smiled and said nothing when she asked about his relationship with the great swordsman Yachiryu, he was able to call her "Retsu" so intimately.
The relationship must be very good!
Moreover, it seems that the two disciples of the great swordsman Yachiryu also follow him as their leader.
Maybe it can really help her.
Just a reward.
Soralin looked at the young man in front of her who was looking at her with interest, and for a moment she couldn't help but be dazed.
His strength should be pretty good! After all, he follows the great swordsman Yachiryu.
But it’s hard to say, judging from his face, he seems younger than her.
It is possible that his strength is a little weak at this age.
However, if he could help her to become great swordsman Yachiryu’s discipline, she could teach him to become stronger in the future as a favor.
or...
She can sacrifice...
That’s right, this favor is so great, how can she be sincere without making some sacrifices!
Soon, Soralin found reasons to convince herself.
Soralin planned to give it away at the speed of light.
There was no way, this was the first time in her life that she met someone she liked.
She is a person who acts decisively. Of course, she has made up her mind but it is a bit awkward to show it.
"If you can help me, I will be with you reluctantly..."
Before Soralin could finish her words, a cold voice interrupted her.
"You mean that woman Unohana Retsu doesn't want to accept you? If she doesn't accept you, then I will!"
At this time, Esdeath, who was next to Kai, looked at her with an extremely oppressive look.
Are you kidding me? Are you still dating me? Are you paying me or asking for a reward?
It was enough for him to have her by his side, and everything else had to stand aside.
Soralin just felt uncomfortable being interrupted by Esdeath. She finally mustered up the courage to say such words.
"Who are you?"
Soralin looked at Esdeath with some scrutiny. Although she looked strong, she didn't seem much older than her.
She actually said such a thing. Could it be possible that she could still be on par with the great swordsman Yachiryu?
Originally, when Esdeath didn't speak, Soralin thought she was the new disciple of the great swordsman Yachiryu, but now her attitude didn't seem like that at all.
"Don't talk nonsense. Since you want to become my disciple, then let me see your strength!"
Esdeath acted decisively without caring about anything else. She stood up and took Soralin directly to the arena.
Because the kendo tournament started at this time.
Looking at Esdeath pulling Soralin with great efficiency, Kai couldn't help but shake his head and laugh.
But it doesn't matter.
The girl just now has entered the realm of a swordsman, a fire-type swordsmanship?
It just so happens that Esdeath can teach her the extremely icy swordsmanship in the future. The fusion of the two may allow her to reach a higher limit in swordsmanship.
The other side.
As Morgans announced the start of the Kendo Tournament.
Countless people began to try it out.
There was no registration process for this kendo tournament, and Morgans had already announced at the time that it would be a highly free competition system.
If that seems to be the case.
No matter who it is, it will be fine even if they just run out of the audience.
Now everyone can go up to the four arenas and compete with other swordsmen.
Morgans also had some considerations for adopting this competition system.
Because there must be many swordsmen and swordsmen who want to participate, but the kendo tournament needs strong ones.
The arena is there now, and whether they can hold on there depends on their own ability.
The first two quarters of an hour are to allow all swordsmen to participate.
After all, the arena is so small, and it would definitely be very crowded and chaotic if everyone rushed in.
But if there is a quarter of an hour as a buffer.
Then the viewing experience will be much better.
Of course, according to common sense, the best way to preserve one's strength is to enter the ring before the last quarter of an hour.
Now what is being held now is a kendo tournament.
Many of the participants are swordsmen, they are not so timid.
They wouldn't do this kind of thing intentionally.
As Morgans announced the start, some spectators began to enter the battlefield from several entrances and exits under the battlefields protective wall, and some even jumped directly into the air.
Jumped directly out from the protective wall.
soon.
Many figures began to appear on the four 100-meter-long arenas in the battlefield.
The scenes from each arena are being shown with the Den Den Mushi on each island.
A huge fight between swordsmen also began to unfold above.
"Come on! There are trial stones all around here, let me see your strength..."
Esdeath and Soralin have also arrived at an arena. On the edge of the arena, there is a small plaque made of gold and stone with two big red words "Area A" on it.
At this time, Esdeath looked at the melee that was about to break out and smiled with pleasure.
Esdeath enjoys fighting. The characters who can come here now are not too weak, so she is also very interested.
