The explosive tag was about to explode.
Ai decisively gave up on Kaito and the other man who were still trying to escape, turned around and ran towards the sealing scroll at a high speed.
At the critical moment, Ai quickly tore off the explosive tag and threw it out, then directly held the sealing scroll in his arms.
"Boom~~"
A huge explosion sounded, and Ai was blown away.
After the smoke and dust dissipated, Kaito, who was still running, looked back and saw that the left half of Ai's body had some traces of blackening and burns.
"Are you worried that the lightning armor will damage the scroll, so you choose to withstand the explosion with your body?"
Kaito knew very well that if Ai maintained the 'Lightning Chakra Mode', the explosive tag would not be able to hurt the opponent.
There is only one possibility, that is, Ai chooses to cancel the lightning armor on his own because he is worried that the lightning around him will destroy the seal scroll.
However, the opponent's body was so strong that it withstood the explosive tag, and he only suffered slight burns.
"This pervert!"
Kaito didn't dare to look back now, and immediately formed a seal with one hand to perform the "Aqua Jet".
Then he grabbed Ao by the collar and quickly took him through the dense forest.
Ao didn't care about his image at this time and let Kaito take him away.
He was very sensible and adjusted his body shape and back, using tree-climbing techniques to cling tightly to Kaito's back.
At the same time, he did not forget to remind Kaito.
"Kaito, there are traces of water on the ground! Running like this is not a solution!"
"No way! This is the fastest move!"
What Kaito said was true. Although 'Aerial Ace' also had an acceleration effect when used, it was also slightly faster than 'Aqua Jet'.
However, the acceleration of 'Aerial Ace' is more of an instantaneous burst, which cannot be sustained and is not so easy to adjust the direction, so it is not suitable for escaping in such a dense forest.
"kaito! He's following us!"
Because Ao was carried on Kaito's back, he could clearly see Ai, who was covered in lightning, rushing towards them again, and the distance between them was rapidly closing.
"Stop talking nonsense, Water Ninjutsu!"
Kaito didn't have the time to care about respecting his sensei at this time, so he just started shouting.
You must know that the 'Aqua Jet’ performed by Kaito still consumes his own chakra. Ao's use of water ninjutsu can not only hinder the opponent, but also save his own chakra consumption.
Ao immediately understood and quickly formed seals with his hands.
"Water Style: Exploding Water Colliding Wave"
A violent torrent of water gushed out of the Ao's mouth and rushed towards Ai.
However, compared with the momentum of Hoshigaki Kisame's release of this ninjutsu before, it is much inferior.
If it was the sea created by Hoshigaki Kisame's 'Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave', it might really make Ai change from 'running' to 'swimming', and the speed would inevitably decrease.
Now the water flow created by Ao did not have much blocking effect at all. Instead, it was directly broken by the violent and powerful Ai, who continued to chase the two.
Fortunately, these water currents still have the effect of blocking the view a little.
After breaking through the water flow, Ai accelerated again and leaped into the air, using his fingers as a blade to slash at the two figures in front of him.
"Lightning Oppression Horizontal Chop"
However, after a loud shout, the two attacked figures were all scattered into water.
"Water clone?"
Being teased by two Kirigakure ninjas like this, Ai naturally couldn't just give up and quickly looked around.
Soon, Ai found a somewhat inconsistent place on the west side.
Ai started to move again without thinking and crashed into it head-on.
The dense bushes turned into large pieces of feathers and fell down the moment Ai touched them.
It was Kaito that used the "Feather Dance" to create a large mimicry curtain in order to cover up the traces of his escape.
It's a pity that it was performed too hastily and didn't delay much time.
Before they had escaped far, Ai once again spotted the kid using the strange water flow to speed up his escape.
"Kaito, behind."
After finishing speaking, Ao formed a seal and continuously spit out several wind blades.
However, the wind-attribute ninjutsu that was supposed to restrain lightning style did not leave any mark on Ai's body. The impact of the wind blade only slightly slowed down the opponent's pace.
There was no need for Ao to remind him. Kaito, who had the "Anticipation", had already sensed the attack from behind. He changed direction flexibly and dodged the attack again at the critical moment.
But even though he had been chased to such a close distance, no matter how fast he tried to get rid of the other person, he still stared at him intently.
Kaito gritted his teeth and turned to face Ai who raised his arm again.
At this moment, the two were very close to each other. Ai could clearly see the ferocious expression on the face of the little devil opposite him, as well as a hint of madness that was barely perceptible.
Kaito quickly formed a seal with one hand and grabbed a handful of Military Ration Pills with the other hand and stuffed them into his mouth.
"Go to hell!"
"Steam Eruption!"
Two balls of scorching hot steam formed beside Kaito's body, constantly twisting, jumping, and expanding violently.
In an instant, it erupted violently like a long-simmering active volcano.
Two violent torrents of steam gushed out and shot towards the dark-skinned figure in front of him.
The moment the steam torrent touched the lightning armor, a deafening explosion resounded throughout the entire mountain range.
"Boom--"
Countless trees of varying heights were directly broken by the shock wave of the explosion.
A large amount of white water vapor, mixed with the smoke and dust raised by the explosion, instantly spread throughout the dense forest.
Ai's figure was like being hit by a sledgehammer, and was blasted into the air by the sudden explosion.
But upon closer inspection, such a strong explosion still failed to bypass the Lightning Armor.
What really lifted him into the air was the powerful thrust generated by the shock wave of the explosion.
However, from the traces of blood oozing from his ears and mouth, it can be seen that he is not completely unscathed.
And Kaito, in order to use the thrust of the explosion to create distance, also failed to completely control the direction of the explosion and was blown away by the shock wave of the explosion.
After flying a long distance in the air, Kaito was about to crash into the ancient tree below.
Fortunately, Ao, who had been carried on his back, did not experience the explosion head-on and was still barely conscious.
After performing several 'Gale Palm' in succession, the two men were able to stop in front of the tree without suffering any secondary damage.
After landing safely, Ao hurriedly let go of Kaito who was still attached to his back.
At this moment, Kaito had fallen into a coma. Although there were many burns on his face from the explosion and scratches caused by the flying earth and rocks, his breathing was stable and he did not seem to be in danger of life.
Ao used his limited medical knowledge to conduct a brief examination, but still couldn't figure out Kaito's current physical condition.
He had to take out some medicine and apply it on him while carefully waking Kaito up from his coma.
"Kaito, check up yourself!"
Kaito, who had just woken up from a coma, immediately felt weak and painful all over. He had no way of sitting up at this moment, let alone examining himself.
Kaito just felt his own condition slightly.
‘It seems that the momentum belt has been triggered? It was really dangerous!’
Then Kaito spoke weakly to Ao.
"Ao-sensei's Military Ration Pills."
Just when Ao was anxiously trying to help Kaito, Ai, who was also blown away by the explosion on the other side, stopped after violently crashing into several large trees.
But just as he was about to get up and chase after the two people he had seen in the air before.
In the woods where the smoke from the explosion had just dissipated, thick fog rose again.
