At this moment, Kaito finally realized that "Anticipation" was not omnipotent.
Even though the alarm bells in my mind were ringing wildly while I was in the air, there was still no way to avoid it.
In the critical moment, Kaito could only try his best to shrink his body and draw out his Shinso to block his chest.
"Bang-"
With a loud bang, Kaito was directly hit by the powerful Eight Trigrams Air Palm, and the Shinsō hit the chest heavily, and the whole person flew backwards.
Kaito, who was in the air, held the Shinsō tightly to prevent the short sword from flying out of his hand, and then blood spurted out of his mouth.
The alarm bells in his mind were still ringing. After struggling to adjust his body shape, he saw the Hyuga ninja quickly chasing after him.
Kaito ignored the pain and quickly formed seals with his hands.
"Water Style: Water Shuriken."
The clear water that came out of his mouth was mixed with blood, and it turned into dozens of crimson shurikens in front of Kaito, scattering towards the enemy.
Looking at the other party dodging the shuriken in a panic, Kaito smiled.
"Tsk, the branch family that doesn't know how to use Revolving Heaven."
Seeing that the little brat dared to mock him at this time, the Hyuga ninja angrily attacked Kaito with another Eight Trigrams Air Palm.
But support has arrived.
A figure quickly appeared in the air, hugged Kaito and dodged the attack without slowing down.
Immediately afterwards, several ninjutsu attacked the middle-aged Hinata.
Kaito ignored the fight of his teammates and immediately used "Roost" to recover from his injuries.
It seemed like just a blow from an Air Palm before, but a single hit from that kind of attack is enough to be fatal.
Fortunately, Kaito used his Shinsō to block the attack, but his internal organs were still damaged and several ribs were broken. Now is not the time to think about his future life.
The healing effect of 'Roost' is indeed powerful. Before Kaito landed on the ground, his injuries had healed.
Kaito spoke to Ken who was carrying him in a princess hug with some embarrassment.
"Ken-senpai, I have already treated myself, can you put me down?"
Ken subconsciously let go upon hearing this, luckily Kaito had good balance training, so he was able to stand firmly after staggering two steps.
"Doctor Kaito, treat yourself first, I'll go over there to help."
Ken patted Kaito's shoulder and smiled widely as he spoke.
Ken naturally didn't know the powerful effect of Kaito's "Roost", and thought he was just doing a simple treatment to stabilize the injury. After giving some instructions, he left Kaito behind and went to support Ao and others.
Kaito looked at Ken speechlessly as he disappeared in the blink of an eye. He had wanted to remind him to be careful of the civilians, but he had no choice but to quickly catch up and rush back.
At the same time, Kaito did not forget to take out a handful of Military Ration Pills and stuffed them into his mouth in big mouthfuls.
"It seems that I should consider making bigger Military Ration Pills next time."
Kaito rushed back to the battle site again, and felt a little relieved when he saw the scene in front of him.
After all, they are just an army composed of ordinary people. Even if they master some secret techniques, they are only slightly threatening.
At this time, these people had been knocked over by the water-style ninjutsu released by someone unknown.
However, Kaito still reminded his teammates by shouting loudly.
"Be careful of those civilians. They can use the blood of their opponents to perform secret jutsu and perish together with the enemy."
Everyone in Kirigakure was also slightly startled. No wonder these ordinary people dared to team up to attack ninjas.
Everyone became more cautious at this moment.
After all, the Kirigakure Village had a large number of people, and they were all elite ninjas. Before Kaito could make a move, they had already killed two Hyuga ninjas.
Ao still wanted to keep the young man alive as a prisoner.
Unfortunately, the opponent saw that there was no way to escape and actually wanted to destroy his own eyes. Ao had no choice but to kill the opponent quickly, but even so, everyone made a huge profit.
The two branch ninjas didn't need to worry. They were like caged birds. Not only would their Byakugan be destroyed, but even if they brought the other party's corpse back, they wouldn't be able to find out any useful information.
However, the body of this young man from the Main family can be of great use.
Ao did not hesitate, took out the sealing scroll from his backpack, and began to prepare to seal the other party's body in it and bring it back to the village.
Ao was cleaning up the battlefield while Ken walked over and looked at Kaito with some surprise.
"Doctor Kaito, your medical ninjutsu is really good. It's only been a short while and you seem to be fine now."
"Hehe, Ken-senpai, the matter of medical ninja is quite profound, and it's hard to explain it in a short time."
Kaito tried to fool him by laughing it off, but that was because Ken was one of the few ninjas in Kirigakure who was easy to talk to. After such a long time of contact, Kaito also understood the other's temper and was not worried about offending him.
"Okay, since you said so, I'll wait until we get back to hear what you have to say about medical ninjas."
Ken also knew that Kaito was talking nonsense, so he followed Kaito's words and teased him.
"Uh, next time for sure."
As the few of them chatted idly, Ao completed the seal and put the scroll away, then turned around and prepared to give the exploration team the order to retreat.
The next moment.
A strong wind accompanied by crackling sounds blew past Kaito.
Before Kaito could react, the scene in front of him was already blood red.
It was not until this moment that Kaito realized that the alarm of "Anticipation" sounded again in his mind.
Wiping the blood off his face in a daze, Kaito finally saw clearly what was happening in front of him.
Ken, who was chatting and laughing with him just now, has now turned into a headless corpse, and the blood-red color in front of his eyes just now was the blood sprayed by the other party, obscuring his vision.
At this time, the headless corpse had already fallen heavily to the ground.
Kaito moved his gaze to the left with some trembling.
At this moment, there stood a black-skinned man with blue electric light shining all over his body.
‘The Fourth Raikage, Ai.’
Until this moment, Kaito vaguely realized that it was not that the 'Anticipation' was too slow to warn him, but that the opponent was too fast and appeared in front of him the moment he entered the range of 'Anticipation'.
It was also at this time that the people from Kirigakure who were present realized what had happened.
"Captain!"
"Ken-sensei!"
Three shrill cries came from behind him.
Kaito didn't dare to look away at all, his gaze was fixed on the figure that was glowing with lightning.
"The Ninjas from Kirigakure Village? You guys are quite courageous."
Ai clashed his fists together, ignoring the expressions of fear or anger from the others present.
However, the Kirigakure ninjas present simply clenched their weapons and did not take the initiative to attack.
Ai casually pointed at the scroll in Ao's hand.
"The one with the blue hair, In this scroll is the body of the Hyuga clan, right? Hand it over."
His casual attitude seemed as if he was ordering his men to get something.
Ao held the scroll tightly in one hand and the kunai in the other. He neither refused nor begged for mercy nor he handed over the scroll.
He just kept staring at the other party.
