"Pah~"
Since the Gale Wings started up too quickly, Kaito didn't have time to control it.
The moment he flew out of the window, his toes hooked on the edge of the bed and he hit the wall outside the window headfirst.
Fortunately, thanks to the reminder of 'Anticipation' and the flexibility brought by 'Technician', Kaito had time to adjust his posture and avoid disfigurement.
"Forget it, forget it. If I go to the Anbu tomorrow with a bruised face, it will be a stain on my life."
"Let's find an open space to practice another day."
Kaito turned over and went back into the house with lingering fear.
"Oh? O.O?"
Blue, who heard the noise in the bedroom, jumped out to check with a puzzled look on his face.
Kaito had no choice but to pretend nothing had happened and spoke awkwardly.
"Haha, go to sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow."
It’s indeed getting late.
After the excitement wore off, Kaito also gave up the idea of going out for a test flight tonight.
No words were spoken that night.
The next morning, Kaito got up early, changed his clothes and went out.
He was wearing an ANBU suit, but no mask.
Anyway, there is no difference between the Kirigakure Anbu suit and the Chunin vest, and it won’t be very conspicuous if he wears it on the street.
However, today is the day to officially report to the Anbu, so Kaito did not carry Shinsō.
He also let Blue stay at home, so as not to make himself, the newcomer, appear too high-profile.
At the entrance of the Anbu base.
Kaito didn't expect that Fuku would arrive at some point in time and would be leaning against the gate waiting for him.
Seeing this, Kaito quickly quickened his pace and went forward to greet him.
"Captain Fuku, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
Fuku just shook his head slightly and didn't say anything, and waved to signal Kaito to follow.
Although Kaito didn't understand what the other person's shaking head meant, he still followed him.
After another winding detour, they arrived at a room that looked a bit like the changing room of a swimming pool.
Kaito immediately saw the tall figure sitting on the right side of the door, it was his old acquaintance Kisame.
‘It seems that Kisame has indeed been transferred to the Anbu. I wonder what secrets the Hoshigaki clan has for such a small matter?’
‘But it's always a good thing to have acquaintances.’
But before Kaito could come forward to say hello.
Fuku was the first to speak and introduce Kaito.
"Everyone, this is our new member of the team, Lu."
Kaito immediately put on a very professional fake smile on his face, expressing his goodwill towards this group of ferocious future teammates.
However, Fuku's next words almost ruined Kaito's plan.
"Lu, this is the Shou I told you about before. He has just arrived in Anbu not long ago. You can communicate more."
The person that Fuku's gesture was pointing at at this moment was Kisame, who was sitting closest to the door.
‘Okay, you are the one with thick eyebrows and thin eyes who is blocking my luck, right?’
Just when Kaito's expression was about to distort.
The polite greeting from the honest man Kisame instantly dispelled most of Kaito's anger.
"Doctor Lu, we can work together again."
Well, looking at the look on Kisame's face, Kaito couldn't muster up any anger at all.
But there are always some short-sighted guys who like to cause trouble at times like this.
A voice full of mockery reached Kaito's ears.
"Again... the new kid looks so weak, but he's a doctor? Since when did the Anbu also need doctors?"
The man who spoke was tall and strong, but his voice was a little shrill, and Kaito noticed him immediately.
But what was seen was that this person was carefully stealing glances at Kisame, looking a bit fierce but weak.
‘This big and strong guy who doesn't look like a Kirigakure ninja at all, could it be that he was taught a lesson by Kisame before?’
Kaito thought so in his heart, but he did not show any weakness.
"It seems that Senpai's strength should be pretty good?"
The sturdy Anbu felt inexplicably angry when he heard the teasing tone and the way the brat was looking at him with a smile.
"I don't believe that all the little kids are as strong as Shou!"
Thinking of this, the burly Anbu punched Kaito in the face, pretending to teach the kid a memorable lesson.
While still shouting.
"Ignorant brat! I'll teach you how to respect your senpai!"
A fist as big as a sandbag came towards him with a sound of wind. If he was hit by this punch, even if he didn't suffer a concussion, he would probably lose a few front teeth.
After seeing the other party's behavior, Kaito had a general idea of the atmosphere within the Anbu.
Kaito had no intention of dodging and just watched the fist slowly approaching him with a smile.
That’s right, Kaito’s dynamic vision has recently improved.
At this moment, the fist that seemed swift to others seemed as slow as a turtle in Kaito's eyes.
Kaito turned his head slightly, but not to avoid the attacking fist.
The chakra gathered in his mouth, and he did not make any other movements.
"Oh~"
A sharp cone of wind was spit out from Kaito's mouth and shot directly into the face of the burly Anbu.
However, before launching the attack, this Anbu was obviously prepared for Kaito's counterattack.
He tilted his head to the side to avoid the sneak attack from the wind cone. Although a faint bloody mark was left on his cheek, he did not stop punching.
The strong Anbu who dodged the sneak attack wanted to taunt Kaito.
The next moment, a white light suddenly flashed between the two of them.
Before anyone could react, a severed arm was thrown high into the air.
"Ah!"
Blood gushed out along with the sturdy Anbu's cry of pain, splashing onto Kaito's face and body.
Kaito didn't care about it at all and waved his hand to disperse the green chakra short sword in his hand.
Kaito while still smiling, looked at the Anbu holding the severed arm and spoke.
"It seems that the strength of the senpai is not so worthy of respect~"
Due to the narrow space in the locker room, Kaito did not use the standard long sword behind him, but used "Aerial Ace" to condense a chakra short sword out of thin air to attack the opponent.
"The effect was unexpectedly good."
Looking at this man covering his wound and looking at him fiercely.
Kaito turned around casually and asked Fuku who was still standing at the door.
"Captain Fuku, this should be considered as self-defense, right? Can I just kill him?"
Fuku looked at Kaito, whose face was covered in blood but still had a bright smile.
He gave orders with a cold expression.
"Lu, you are responsible for treating the spider."
"Spider, after receiving treatment, you are responsible for cleaning up this place."
"Yes, Captain."
The spider agreed with gritted teeth, without any intention of causing any more trouble.
No one else around, not even Kisame, expressed any opinion about what had just happened.
Instead, they all looked at the new kid Kaito with great interest.
Kaito didn't care about other people's looks. He picked up the spider's broken arm and walked forward with a smile.
"Look, Senpai, isn't this the doctor's role being demonstrated?"
