After hearing what the intelligence officer named Fujie had said, everyone also had a general understanding of the current situation in the southern part of the Land of Hot Water.
Currently, all of Konohagakure's ninja troops are in the northern part of the Land of Hot Water, and even the logistics transportation routes go directly from the Land of Fire into the northern part of the Land of Hot Water.
The more than 200 Kumogakure ninjas led by the AB combination have no rivals in the southern part of the Land of Hot Water.
Although the Ninja Village of Land of Hot Water, Yugakure Village, is located in the southern region, unfortunately, due to its consistent adherence to the concept of peace, this village is more of a tourist attraction than a ninja village.
At present, even the Daimyo of the Land of Hot Water can only ignore the existence of these Kumogakure ninjas and pretend that everything in the country is peaceful and prosperous.
Of course, the Land of Fire and the Land of Lightning were fighting each other within the borders of the Land of Hot Water, so they couldn't do anything even if they wanted to.
According to Fujie's intelligence channels, this Kumogakure Village force seems to be looking for the Konoha ninja lurking here.
However, it is unknown how many people there are on the other side and why they are lurking here.
At the same time, although this small army did not cause undue trouble to the people of The Land of Hot Water, after all, the main force of Kumogakure was still fighting on the front line, and it was inevitable that some ordinary people would be affected.
Therefore, the people of Land of Hot Water currently have a strong resistance to the ninjas of Kumogakure and Konohagakure.
There are even rumors that a part of the civilians of the Land of Hot Water have formed an opposition force. Although they cannot cause damage to the main forces of the two villages on the front line, they are sparing no effort to attack the Kumogakure Force in the southern part of Land of Hot Water.
This also led to an increasingly serious conflict between the two sides. Not only did the resistance forces suffer heavy casualties, but it was even rumored that many ninjas in the Kumogakure Force also suffered casualties.
"Can a resistance army composed of civilians actually cause casualties to the Kumogakure Army?" Ao immediately raised the question.
If only one or two Kumogakure Genin were killed or injured in the surprise attack, it could be understood as carelessness, but Fujie meant that the rebels had already caused obvious casualties to Kumogakure.
This made the Kumogakure Force treat these civilians even more cruelly.
"It seems that some secret method has been used to give civilians a certain level of combat power, but I don't know what it is." Fujie replied without any emotion.
"Could it be that Konoha is secretly supporting the civilians of the Land of Hot Water?" Ken expressed his guess.
"It shouldn't be. If Konohagakure really wants to attack these Kumogakure troops, there is no need to borrow the name of the people of Land of Hot Water. Besides, even if Konohagakure wants to hide itself, if these civilians don't have the ability to kill Kumogakure Ninjas, they won't get Konohagakure's support."
"Kaito is right, but this is also a good thing for us. If the Kumogakure Village continues to search without any hindrance, we will not have a good opportunity to conduct an investigation."
After Ao finished speaking, he turned to look at Fujie and asked.
"Do you know the current trends of AB Group?"
"Yes, ninja-sama. A day ago, the other party appeared in the small town called Sigu Town in the southwest near the border of the Land of Fire, and it was only these two who acted alone."
"But they are too fast. We had intelligence on them a few times before, one day was enough for them to run to any place in the Land of Hot Water. So we are still not sure whether this news is delayed."
Fujie rubbed his brows after saying this. It seemed that dealing with all this ninja-related information was not easy for him.
"Jōnin Ao, are we going straight to the AB group now? I heard that AB are the strongest people under the Raikage of the Kumogakure Village."
"Pah~"
The head exploded again.
"Sorry, Jōnin Ao." After recovering, Hozuki Shingetsu immediately bowed and apologized.
Ken found that his student was becoming more and more naughty. He actually directly questioned the team leader's decision. He felt a little ashamed and apologized along with his own students.
What surprised Kaito was that Fujie, an ordinary person who saw this situation for the first time, did not show any emotion on his face.
Ao nodded at Ken and the others, not caring about the doubts in Hozuki Shingetsu's words.
"It's not certain that the AB group is still in Sigu Town. We may be able to find some clues by going to the places they passed by recently. If the two are still in Sigu Town, we must go there. There must be some important reason for them to stay there."
After explaining to several subordinates, Ao patted Fujie on the shoulder and said, "Thank you for your hard work. I'll trouble you to continue the investigation. We may need intelligence support."
The three little ones couldn't help but hold their foreheads when they saw Ao's increasingly serious leadership style.
However, Kaito continued to speak.
"Ao-sensei, should I let Blue stay here? It will also make it easier to pass on information later."
Because they wanted to pretend to be samurai, it was not appropriate to carry summōning beasts, which were obviously symbols of ninjas.
Kaito simply canceled the summoning Jutsu and sent Blue back to the village.
Since Blue doesn't have a fixed home like 'Mount Myōboku' or 'Shikkotsu Forest', every time he cancels the Summoning Jutsu, Blue will return to the location of the 'Summoning Scroll’ given by the system.
As long as Kaito lets Blue be summoned holding the 'Summoning Scroll', it is equivalent to changing the 'return point'.
After that, it will be much easier to communicate with the intelligence personnel here, and it can also reduce the risk of exposure to this intelligence station.
"Okay, this way it will be more convenient if there is anything you need to know later."
After seeing Ao agree, Kaito bit his finger and summoned Blue.
Blue, who had just been summoned by the Summoning Jutsu, was still holding an apple. Perhaps he felt the Summoning Jutsu, and he dropped the apple and entered an alert state the moment he landed.
“Wow!(σ｀д′)σ”
However, after looking around, he found that there was no fighting, so he hurriedly picked up the apple on the ground and brushed off the dust.
Kaito awkwardly took Blue aside and whispered something in his ear.
Then he released the Summoning Jutsu again, and after a minute, he was able to summon Blue again.
This time, Blue returned with a scroll in his arms that was almost the same size as himself.
Kaito carefully took the scroll and handed it to Fujie.
"Please keep this Summoning Scroll. I will contact you through the Summoning beast if I have any information later."
Fujie took the scroll solemnly and put it away carefully.
In fact, what Kaito gave to the other party was not the real system Summoning Scroll. Or it was not just a real Summoning Scroll.
In fact, Blue's Summoning Scroll is only a dozen centimeters in size, and when rolled up, it is almost as long as Kaito's palm.
However, Kaito later considered the need to change the 'return point', so he specially customized a larger scroll for disguise, and hid the real scroll in the metal shaft.
When he was in the front-line camp before, Kaito also left this large scroll of more than 60 centimeters in size in his tent to facilitate the transmission of information.
After Konohagakure attacked the camp, the scroll in the tent was torn into pieces and only the metal shaft in the middle was left. This new scroll was remade by Kaito some time ago.
"Okay, let's go. Let's go check out the small town first."
