Both Mei and Zabuza looked at Kaito in surprise and suspicion.
You have to know that it is now late January. Although the climate here on Land of Whirlpool is relatively comfortable, the temperature is close to below zero.
In this kind of weather, the rising white steam makes the effect of this ninjutsu particularly obvious.
Kaito looked at his two teammates and said with a smile.
"This is the ninjutsu I'm developing recently, Water Style: Scald, which can create a high-temperature water stream to burn the enemy. Unfortunately, the effect of this move is too obvious in winter. If it were in other seasons, it would be more concealed."
Not only did this guy shamelessly claim that this was a ninjutsu he developed himself, he also gave 'Scald' a more catchy name.
"Are you developing new ninjutsu again?" Zabuza looked at Kaito's head and felt confused.
It was naturally impossible for Kaito to say that this was a new skill fed to him by a plug-in. So He just explained it according to the words he had thought of in advance.
"I discussed some bloodline development Jutsu with Mei before, so I thought about trying it myself. Unfortunately, even after adding the fire attribute chakra nature change, I still couldn't achieve the bloodline limit, and in the end I only developed this one ninjutsu."
"You also mastered the changes in the nature of fire-attribute chakra?"
Mei looked at Kaito with a complicated expression.
Obviously she was a little dissatisfied with the fact that kaito independently developed a variety of ninjutsu, so she started to get involved in her father's research on the bloodline limit. It turned out that the other party made the results first.
"Haha, because I have hit a bottleneck in developing new ninjutsu recently, I have made some other attempts."
Kaito scratched his head awkwardly, thinking secretly that he must try to develop some ninjutsu on his own in the future. Otherwise, he would always rely on the gifts from the system. No matter how thick-skinned he was, he could not stand being regarded as a genius by others.
Of course, my current strength is still very weak, and I definitely cannot waste too much time on such unprofitable work. Combining some variant techniques of ninjutsu is the limit.
Afterwards, Kaito tried to release the 'Scald' several more times.
This ninjutsu can also spit out water from the mouth without burning yourself, just like the Fire Style Ninjutsu, but in that case, all the chakra required for the ninjutsu must be provided by oneself, which is less cost-effective than directly borrowing water from the natural environment.
Mei also took out her father's notes and had a conversation with Kaito again.
Kaito has the principles of ninjutsu brought by the infusion of skills, and is happy to communicate more with the other party.
First, if Mei develops her own Kekkei Genkai as soon as possible, she can enhance the team's combat effectiveness. In addition, Kaito also wants to see if he can transform the "Steam Eruption" into his own Kekkei Genkai through Mei's research, or even integrate the two attributes of wind and water to try to develop an Ice Style Kekkei Genkai and open up a new attribute pool.
Kaito was still looking forward to seeing what kind of expressions the Yuki Clan would have when he used his ice skills against them.
As the night gradually darkened, the few of them prepared to return to the tent to rest.
After all, I have just completed an outdoor mission, and there will probably be no new missions assigned in the next few days, so there is no rush to exercise.
However, as soon as Kaito walked out of the camp, he saw Hoshigaki Kisame walking towards him.
"Kisame? Are you here to see me?"
"Doctor Mirukawa, long time no see."
Although Hoshigaki Kisame speaks very politely, most people really can't accept his smile with a mouth full of shark teeth.
"Kisame, didn't you say before that you would form your own team next? Why are you now working for Suikazan Fuguki?"
"Yes, it was arranged by the clan."
Seeing that Hoshigaki Kisame didn't want to say more, Kaito didn't ask any more questions.
Perhaps for a small clan like the Hoshigaki clan, getting in touch with Suikazan Fuguki is much more important than forming a team of Genin to lead the mission.
"I came here today mainly because I have recently done some new research on seal-making techniques, and I want to ask Doctor Mirukawa for some advice."
"This"
Kaito looked at the scroll that Hoshigaki Kisame took out and felt a little embarrassed to accept it. After all, the two of them were just ordinary friends at best, and this kind of training experience was a little too precious.
Seeing that Kaito was a little hesitant, Hoshigaki Kisame stuffed the scroll into his hand without saying a word.
"I have never thanked Doctor Mirukawa for treating me. The time I spent with Doctor Mirukawa discussing water-style ninjutsu was also very helpful to me."
"Well, thank you very much. Don't keep calling me doctor. Just call me Kaito."
"Okay, Doctor Mirukawa."
After saying that, Hoshigaki Kisame turned around and was about to leave, but seemed to have thought of something, turned back, and spoke to Kaito in a serious tone.
"Doctor Mirukawa, if you accept any missions within the Land of Fire recently, please be careful and cautious."
Seeing Hoshigaki Kisame's serious look, Kaito also became more serious. After all, the fact that this most strict and honest man in the ninja world could remind him meant that he really regarded him as a friend and knew some inside information.
"Okay, I'll pay attention to that, thank you."
Then Hoshigaki Kisame left the training ground in a clean and neat manner. The total time the two of them spent talking to each other did not exceed five minutes.
"Your friend seems to be a nice person." Zabuza, who had been watching the entire conversation between the two, spoke coolly to express his approval of Hoshigaki Kisame.
"Hey, huh? I also think Kisame is a trustworthy friend."
After laughing, Kaito restrained his expression and said to his two teammates.
"Since both Ao-sensei and Kisame have emphasized the matter of missions, we should try to reduce our daily training recently to avoid being in poor condition when there are unexpected missions."
"I'll listen to you. You're the captain now."
Afterwards, the three of them had a quick meal and returned to the tent to rest.
The next morning, at the front command tent.
At this moment, more than a dozen jonin were having a heated discussion here.
"Since Konoha is not planning to attack, then we will attack!"
Suikazan Fuguki looked at the senior ninjas present with some impatience, because after the previous defeat at the front, the one who most wanted to teach Konoha a lesson now should be him, the former commander, besides the Third Mizukage who was still in charge of the Kirigakure Village.
"Perhaps this is what Konoha is thinking. Why should we give up our current advantage and choose to take the initiative? It is obvious that they are more anxious."
Biwa Juzo, who came to the front line with the support troops, immediately retorted that he was actually looking forward to a happy fight.
But since they have already arrived at the front line, fighting is inevitable. He just wants to refute the Suikazan Fuguki.
Seeing the other party looking at him fiercely, Biwa Juzo raised his eyebrows and glared back without any concern.
At this moment, Yagura, who was sitting in the center of the big tent, was watching the people below arguing.
It seems that I understand a little bit why the Third Mizukage always liked to let the people below speak first before making the final decision.
This is the feeling of power.
