Kaito saw a large number of poisonous snakes rushing towards him.
At this time, he had no time to form hand seals. He clenched the short sword behind his back with his right hand. Time seemed to slow down. He stared intently at the trajectory of Orochimaru's attack, preparing to use the "Cut" to cut off the snakes.
However, these poisonous snakes were slithering in the air, constantly changing their trajectories, making Kaito unsure whether he could block them all.
But at this moment, a light shout came from behind Kaito.
"Water Style: Water Mirror Jutsu"
The next moment, an oval mirror made of clear water suddenly appeared in front of Kaito.
Without waiting for Kaito to make any other moves, another thick black iron hook stretched out from his side and hooked on the top of the water mirror. With a gentle pull of the iron hook, the water mirror tilted back at a 45° angle, and a figure identical to Orochimaru was reflected in the water mirror, also using the Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hands to collide with Orochimaru's body.
Then the group of snakes summoned by Orochimaru's real body burst into white smoke, and the clones reflected in the water mirror also exploded into water splashes on the ground.
Orochimaru didn't seem to care much about the failure of his attack. Instead, he looked at the green-haired ninja who slowly walked out from behind Kaito with interest and said with a smile.
"Kirigakure's Yagura, I didn't expect you to be earlier than the intelligence provided."
Karatachi Yagura didn't pay attention to Orochimaru's somewhat teasing attitude. He flipped the stick and slammed the iron hook in his hand into the ground.
He looked at Orochimaru with a serious face.
"The information may not be accurate, Orochimaru."
As Yagura finished his words, dozens of figures suddenly landed on the beach with the sound of "whoosh~whoosh~whoosh", with the intention of surrounding Orochimaru.
When Kaito saw that the support from Kirigakure had finally arrived, and that it was led by the unexpected Karatachi Yagura, his heart finally settled down a little.
When Orochimaru appeared before, Kaito was still thinking.
Even if Suikazan Fuguki received the information he sent back and was willing to come to support him, he might just end up delivering food to Orochimaru.
Seeing that he seemed to be surrounded, Orochimaru did not panic at all. He even waved his hand to signal Yakushi Nono to continue treatment and not to worry.
Seeing this, Yagura seemed to want to provoke Orochimaru's emotions and spoke.
"Orochimaru, if you die here, how long can Konoha's frontline camp last?"
The other Kirigakure ninjas also coordinated and took attacking stances.
Orochimaru ignored all this and instead set his sights on Kaito and asked.
"Kid, your situation just now is very interesting. Maybe I can learn more about it next time we meet."
Kaito's hair almost stood on end when he heard this.
‘What did this guy say in front of so many Kirigakure ninjas? He is trying to get himself killed!’
Kaito spoke quickly.
"There's no need for that next time we meet. If you're interested, Orochimaru-san, you can just come with us back to the camp and talk in detail. I promise to tell you everything I know."
When Orochimaru on the opposite side heard this, he became more interested in the little kid in front of him.
However, at this time, Orochimaru had not yet experienced the future where he would be killed instantly by Uchiha Itachi's Sharingan illusion.
So he simply believed that Kaito had a physique that was highly resistant to illusions, and he had a little desire to research it, but he didn't force it too much.
And Yagura also looked at Kaito with approval and spoke.
"Orochimaru, there won't be a next time!"
Afterwards, all the Kirigakure ninjas released the attacks they had prepared long ago, and ninjutsu, kunai, and shurikens flew towards Orochimaru in an overwhelming manner.
However, Orochimaru just stood there motionless with a smile on his face.
The next moment, a huge and ferocious snake head broke out of the ground and swallowed Orochimaru, Nono, and the two konoha ninjas who were undergoing treatment, as well as several Konoha corpses nearby.
The giant snake that emerged from the ground withstood the attacks of everyone in the Kirigakure Village. Only the ninjutsu of Yagura and a few ninjas left serious wounds on the giant snake.
Then the giant snake jumped into the sea without looking back, swam rapidly towards the coastline of the Land of Fire, and disappeared from everyone's sight in the blink of an eye.
"Yagura-sama, should we chase after him?" asked a senior ninja.
"Forget it, be careful of another ambush."
In fact, when Yagura came to support, he never thought that he would meet Orochimaru, and he did not bring many ninjas with him.
After all, the support troops he led had just arrived at the front line not long ago, and most of the ninjas needed a short rest.
It was only because Yagura had some friendship with Team Ao that he rejected the proposal of Suikazan Fuguki and brought his own people to provide support.
It's a pity, if there were more people, or if we brought some perception ninjas, we might be able to keep Orochimaru.
At that time, we can even seize the opportunity to raid Konoha's front-line camp.
When Kaito heard that they would not continue the pursuit, he stared deeply in the direction where Orochimaru and Yakushi Nono left two seconds ago.
Then he withdrew his gaze and began to mobilize his chakra to help Blue and the other three to break the illusion. He then ran to Ao, who was still unconscious in the pit, to treat him.
However, Ao's injuries were so serious that they could not be cured on the spot. Kaito could only do his best to stabilize his condition.
At the same time, Kaito also saw that his fellow medical ninja who came with Yagura was treating the injuries of Kushimaru who had fallen into a coma at some point.
Although Kushimaru's arm was seriously injured, he woke up slowly after receiving the other party's treatment.
"Could this guy have pretended to faint after seeing Orochimaru coming?"
However, Kaito thought again and thought that with the murderous character of the group of people in the Kirigakure Village, they probably wouldn't do such a shameful thing. So he simply ignored it and concentrated on treating Ao.
In the end, Ao was unable to wake up due to his severe injuries. Kaito and the other two had to make a simple stretcher and carry Ao back to the camp.
On the way back, Yagura also specifically looked for Kaito to ask what Orochimaru meant by what he said before he left.
Kaito only vaguely said that he used some kind of secret jutsu and by coincidence he was able to withstand Orochimaru's illusion attack.
After all, if the truth is that it is a secret jutsu, the worst that can happen is that he just hands it over to save his life. But if by accident he is really misunderstood as having a special physique and is captured for research, that would be too miserable.
Fortunately, the ninja world still attaches great importance to the intellectual property rights of secret jutsu. Even though Kaito is just an orphan, Yagura has not shown any intention of asking him to hand over the secret jutsu.
Everyone returned to the front-line camp safely.
