After listening to this, Ao fell silent for a while.
It's not that he didn't want to vent his students' anger, but the Yuki Clan was one of the largest clans in the village after all, and a few minor problems could not shake their position at all.
Even in the last smuggling incident, with the Kirigakure Village high-ranking leader Karatachi Yagura pushing for an investigation behind the scenes, Third Mizukage did not impose any harsh punishments.
This kind of shady dealings on the battlefield, even if it is reported to the top leaders, not to mention making the other party pay any price, there is even the possibility of being bitten back by the other party because of the death of a senior ninja of the Yuki Clan.
And the atmosphere in the village is that if the other party threatens you, then you find a chance to kill them. If you go to complain crying, you will be spurned by all the blood mist ninjas.
Seeing that Ao was in a very difficult situation, Kaito didn't intend to continue on this topic.
The purpose of telling Ao about this matter was not to get any help, but to remind him that the previous conflict with the Yuki Clan was not over, and he still had to be careful of their revenge in the future.
Then Kaito continued to talk about the subsequent attack on the Konohagakure camp.
"It seems that Konoha will reduce the number of troops on the front line in the future."
After hearing this, Ao nodded and immediately understood the intention of the ninja swordsmen on the front line.
"It still depends on the village's next plan. If the village leaders continue to send reinforcements to the front line, then even if Konoha's logistics are difficult, they will inevitably station a large number of troops here for defense."
Kaito felt a little annoyed after he finished speaking.
If I had been transmigrated a year earlier and had enough strength now, I would not be so resistant to the upcoming war.
However, Ao has a different opinion on this.
"Thanks to the heavy rain, although Konoha's surprise attack on the camp caused huge casualties, it was not easy for them either, so they did not force themselves to stay and annihilate the subsequent returning troops."
"Moreover, for the village leaders, killing and wounding a large number of Konoha ninjas and defeating the Konoha camp are both acceptable results. The leaders are also willing to resume the previous state of confrontation across the river."
"Even if the owners of two ninja swords, Twin Blades: Hiramekarei and Samehada, died in this battle, as long as the ninja swords are still there, the village can still select a successor, and it will not destroy the strategic plan formulated before the war."
After listening to Ao's analysis, Kaito also felt that it made sense and wanted to speak up to agree.
"What about Wait?!!"
"What?!"
"Ao-sensei, did you say that the two ninja swordsmen died in the battle? Did Suikazan Fuguki die?"
The three little ones all looked at Ao in astonishment, especially Kaito. At this moment, this news was like a thunderclap exploding in his mind.
It even made Kaitoe's mind dazed for a moment.
"How did Suikazan Fuguki die?"
Although two ninja swordsmen died in the battle, the wielder of Twin Blades: Hiramekarei did not have a name in the original work, only a vague appearance.
So even if the opponent died in the battle, Kaito would only think that the opponent should have died here. The guy who was kicked to death by Might Dai's Eight Inner Gates might be the second generation of the ninja sword user.
But Suikazan Fuguki is different. The original book clearly records that this guy will live to the time of the Fourth Mizukage Karatachi Yagura. The reason he died at this time must be because he, a transmigrated person, has influenced history.
‘But what did I, a small character who is not even a jōnin, do to cause the premature death of two ninja swordsmen?’
The more Kaito thought about it, the more annoyed he became, even though he had considered before that his existence would definitely have an impact on the original plot.
However, such a big change occurred when his strength was still insufficient, which still made Kaito feel as if everything was out of control.
Although Mei and Zabuza on the side were also shocked to hear that the two ninja swordsmen had died, they still looked at Kaito in surprise together with Ao.
For some reason, Kaito acted so abnormally after hearing the news.
However, Ao still spoke up to explain on behalf of his students.
"Our opponent is Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin, and the number of Konoha Jōnins attacking the camp far exceeds ours."
"Fuguki-sama was injured by Orochimaru and then was killed by a sneak attack from several Konoha jōnin."
"Even the Jōnin Yagura was seriously injured while covering the other ninjas' retreat to the sea."
Kaito also came to his senses a little after hearing this. It was not because of Ao's explanation, but because the thing had already happened and Kaito could only reconcile himself.
‘The most important thing is to improve my strength. As long as I am strong enough, it doesn't matter if the original plot collapses.’
Kaito once again became anxious to improve his strength.
"Ao-sensei, then the village should also withdraw some troops next, right?"
"Yes, from what I have learned so far, about half of the ninjas will be transferred back to the village. As for how many troops the higher-ups will send to replace them, I am not sure."
"But I guess it should just be a small-scale increase in manpower, so that more ninjas can hone themselves in the upcoming low-intensity confrontations."
Mei's eyes lit up when she heard that.
"Doesn't that mean that our team might also return to the village to rest?"
"That's right, and I heard that Chūkichi-sama has recovered from his injuries and may come back to take over the Perception Unit."
Just when Kaito and a few others were still discussing whether to stay or go in the ruins of the camp.
Inside the only intact tent in the frontline camp of the Kirigakure Village.
Yagura was wrapped in bandages all over his body, and was quickly reading the information that was urgently transmitted by the Kirigakure Village through summoned beasts.
"It's actually advertised as a big victory? It really is."
Yagura shook his head and gave a bitter smile.
There are only two things in intelligence.
First, they praised Yagura for his contribution in defeating the Konoha camp and continued to serve as the frontline commander. At the same time, the village would draw out some combat ninjas to rotate with the troops in the frontline camp.
The second one is more important. The Land of Lightning and the Land of Earth simultaneously issued a statement, announcing their alliance and jointly declaring war on the Land of Fire. The top leaders asked Yagura to continue to make a strategic pressure gesture after the follow-up troops arrived. However, they should not easily start a large-scale fight, but should focus on training troops, control the loss of troops, and wait for the Land of Fire to fall into decline.
For Yagura, it would be best if this wrong decision did not have a negative impact on his reputation.
This will also help him to continue to fulfill his ambitions and ideals.
But at the same time, for an ambitious young man like Yagura who is not yet experienced enough, this distortion of facts makes him doubt whether his ambition is correct.
After seeing the intelligence that the Land of Lightning and the land of Earth declared war on the Land of Fire, Yagura has been thinking.
If only he had been able to see through Orochimaru's plan earlier and not been so eager for quick success and instant benefits, he would have launched an all-out attack.
If he was stronger, he could kill Orochimaru directly when he attacked.
So now that the Land of Fire is surrounded by enemies, does Orochimaru still have the courage to abandon the camp and attack the Kirigakure camp with almost all of Konoha's eastern forces?
In other words, are the Kirigakure's frontline troops able to set up camp within the Land of Fire at this time?
But no one can know this possibility anymore.
Yagura just held the information tightly in his hands and made up his mind secretly.
"Next time, next time I will definitely defeat you, Orochimaru!"
