Ao felt a little sad after hearing Kaito's answer.
But it is indeed true, and Ao also believes that Kaito usually spends a lot of energy developing new ninjutsu, so he simply doesn't force it.
Now, the eyes of the three of them all fell on Zabuza.
"I'm going to use the Hidden Mist Jutsu."
Zabuza's cold words directly shattered Ao's last hope.
It's a pity that he is a perception ninja, but none of his three students inherited his skills.
However, Ao thought about his previous observations and found that Zabuza might also have a good talent for perceiving ninjas, so he decided to struggle again.
"My own Perception Ninjutsu is more inclined towards large-scale chakra perception, which is indeed not suitable for using in the Hidden Mist Jutsu, but there are other types of Perception Ninjutsu in the village."
"I will look up some relevant information later. This type of Perception Ninjutsu can also increase your combat capabilities in the Hidden Mist jutsu."
Looking at Ao's expectant eyes, Zabuza finally nodded and agreed.
Finally satisfied, Ao began to explain the essentials of ninjutsu to the two newly graduated students so that they could choose the ninjutsu that suits them to learn.
"You two have already learned some water ninjutsu, and you must have some understanding of the principles of chakra. If you want to learn advanced ninjutsu, you must master the two techniques of chakra."
Having said that, Ao held up two fingers and asked the two of them a question.
"You should know which two techniques they are, right?"
Kaito looked around. Mei was an old student and must know all this, but Ao was not asking her this time, so she just looked at the two of them quietly.
Kaito didn't know whether Zabuza couldn't answer or was just pretending to be cool, because he didn't intend to answer.
Kaito had no choice but to act as the supporting actor himself.
"Ao-sensei, is it the change in nature and form of chakra?"
"That's right."
Then, Ao spread out his palm, and a stream of water appeared out of nowhere, flowing continuously to the ground.
"This is the change in the nature of chakra, which is to transform the chakra in the body into five different attributes of 'water, fire, lightning, earth, and wind'."
Afterwards, Ao did not make any other moves, and all the water flows converged together against the common sense of physics, forming a light blue water ball.
"This is the change in the form of chakra. It can control the released chakra to show a specific form."
After he finished speaking, Ao waved his hand gracefully to disperse the water ball, letting it fall to the ground, ready to receive the admiring gazes of his students.
You have to know that this method of creating and controlling water flow without the help of hand seals, simply by mobilizing chakra, although it has little power and cannot be used in actual combat, is still a very advanced skill.
However, what Ao waited for was Kaito's question full of doubt.
"Ao-sensei, I want to know, are some chakra changes really necessary? For example, my Water Shuriken, the change of form can enhance the cutting effect, but it is also a stream of water hitting the enemy, what is the use of multiple dragon heads?"
This is also a question that Kaito had when he watched anime in his previous life. However, in anime, it can be explained as special effects added simply to make the skills gorgeous, but in reality, ninjas will definitely not waste operations like this.
Of course, Kaito also knew that the ultimate form change of the Rasengan could bring extremely powerful spiral explosion damage.
However, what is the difference between the morphological changes of water dragons and unicorns, other than being fancy, and direct water flow or electric shock?
Zabuza's face turned green when he heard Kaito's question.
“Cough~ cough~”
Ao hurriedly interrupted Zabuza's rampage and explained.
"Transformation is not just about changing the appearance. Simple transformations can control the range and target of ninjutsu. For example, the Water Dragon Jutsu you mentioned is a more advanced transformation. It usually allows ninjutsu to acquire the characteristics of certain animals and become more flexible."
Kaito nodded, seemingly thinking about something.
I see. It's just mimicry plus divine descent.
So, what animal characteristics are the dog heads carved into the earth flow walls meant to acquire?
Ao saw that Kaito didn't continue to dwell on this issue, so he continued talking.
"What I just showed you are relatively simple methods. When actually releasing a ninjutsu, you often need to combine it with a specific chakra flow and corresponding hand seals to achieve a series of effects such as increasing the power of the ninjutsu, releasing it faster, and saving chakra."
"Normal ninjas are born with 1-2 chakra attributes. However, this does not affect the ability to learn and master ninjutsu of other attributes. Generally, ninjas who reach the level of Jonin will master at least two ninjutsu of different attributes."
Ao looked at the two students who had resumed listening attentively, took out two square pieces of paper from his pocket and asked them.
"Have you ever tested your chakra attributes before?"
Kaito and Zabuza looked at each other.
"I only have the water attribute."
"Me too."
Ao was not surprised by this. Perhaps due to environmental reasons, the first attribute of most ninjas in the Land of Water is water.
When Kaito opened the Water Attribute Pool himself, he knew that if he mastered the property changes of a certain attribute and learned a corresponding ninjutsu, he could unlock a new prize pool through system achievements.
So he gritted his teeth and spent money to buy a piece of chakra testing paper. The result showed that he only had the Water Attribute, so he had to give up learning ninjutsu of other attributes for the time being.
As for Zabuza, Kaito guessed that it was Karatachi Yagura who helped him test it.
Seeing that neither of them used what he had prepared, Ao put the two chakra test papers back into his arms with some disappointment.
This thing is quite expensive.
After putting away the test paper, Ao thought for a moment and said.
"Then I suggest that you two continue to learn water-based ninjutsu to enrich your ability to deal with situations. As for ninjutsu of other attributes, it won't be too late to learn them after you become a jonin."
"Then Mei."
Zabuza, who had been silent, seemed to speak unconvinced, but was interrupted by Ao.
"Mei was born with three attributes, but she is currently only focusing on learning Water and Earth Style Ninjutsu."
"Hey-hey."
Mei smiled at Zabuza with some pride, and Zabuza turned his head away awkwardly and didn't look at her.
"Okay, here are some water-style ninjutsu that I mastered. You can choose what you want to learn first. As for the rewards given to you by the village, I can also give you some suggestions if necessary."
As he spoke, Ao took out a scroll and unfolded it to the two of them. It was obvious that he had prepared it in advance.
Kaito couldn't help but feel a little moved. After all, from the perspective of the team captain alone, there was no need for Ao to go to this extent.
Up to now, he had only received some teachings on ninjutsu from his deceased parents and his elder, Nakamura Keiko.
Afterwards, Kaito began to look at the scroll very seriously, while Ao and Mei would give suggestions from time to time.
In the end, Kaito chose the two ninjutsu "Water Waves Jutsu" and "Water Prison Jutsu", while Zabuza chose "Water Waves Jutsu".
The two of them tacitly agreed not to choose too many ninjutsu or overly advanced A-rank and B-rank ninjutsu.
After all, their fighting styles are basically formed now, and they have each mastered B-rank ninjutsu such as 'Water Shuriken Jutsu' and 'Water Dragon Jutsu', so there is no need to be too ambitious and bite off more than one can chew.
Ao was also very pleased with the two's behavior and began to carefully explain these ninjutsu to them.
