That afternoon, several people returned to the Takumi Village, picked up Shimotsuki Ichiro and set off back to the Kirigakure Village.
As for Kujaku and Hoki.
It just so happened that in order to kidnap the Konohagakure ninjas, they prepared more than one coffin-shaped ninja tool, which was now being used for them.
In fact, there are scrolls in the ninja world that can seal or teleport living people. They are even sold in the Takumi Village.
However, these scrolls are too expensive, and Ao naturally would not spend the money on prisoners.
Fortunately, ninjas wear all kinds of costumes when they go out on missions, not to mention that the Takumi Village also has all kinds of strange and bizarre ninja tools.
Therefore, the group was not stopped at the port and unable to board the ship just because they were carrying two coffins.
The return trip was unexpectedly peaceful without any further incidents.
Except for the first day on board, Ao gathered the three members of his team and analyzed and taught them about the previous battle between Kaito and Zabuza and Kujaku.
As a senior ninja, Ao also gave the two some different fighting ideas, and most importantly, he promised to teach them some practical ninjutsu.
In fact, according to ordinary ninja teams, the captain does not have any obligation to teach.
Team members are just subordinates to the captain, and it is very kind of the captain to teach them some ninja experience. Some even use the Genin team members as tools and cannon fodder to help them complete their tasks better.
However, after spending some time together, Ao has already recognized Kaito and Zabuza, the two talented young men who joined his team later.
He had long regarded the two of them as students like Mei, so naturally he would not be stingy in teaching them some ninjutsu.
However, after all, everyone is still on the ship sailing on the sea, so there is no rush to start teaching now.
After that, Kaito stayed in the cabin studying the newly evolved Blue and the trophy "Weaknessless Soaring Shortswords" obtained from defeating Kujaku before.
Yes, this extremely powerful pair of double sword ninja tools finally remained in the hands of Kaito.
The village generally doesn't care too much about the spoils captured by ninjas when they are out on missions, as long as they are not things with certain political significance like the Sword of Thunder God (Tobirama sword) or the Seven Ninja Swords.
Kujaku was defeated by Kaito and Zabuza together, so the spoils were naturally divided between the two of them.
However, Zabuza said very proudly that he was able to defeat Kujaku mainly because of Kaito's unexpected use of steel wire against the enemy, and the pair of swords had been broken into two pieces. Zabuza looked down on such scraps of metal.
So regardless of the fact that Kaito was not proficient in swordsmanship, he firmly refused to participate in the distribution of the spoils.
In the end, Kaito didn't want to be too pretentious and honestly accepted the broken ninja tool.
It's just that Kaito gave Zabuza the roll of ninja tool steel wire that the two of them had used before, and reminded Zabuza again not to think about Executioner's Blade anymore. Wouldn't it be better for him to practice with the steel wire and seize Long Blade: Nuibari in the future?
The other ninja tool, the 'Black Sword Fire Sword', was naturally collected as Ao's trophy. As for how to deal with it, it had nothing to do with Kaito.
Today it is Kaito's turn to protect Shimotsuki Ichiro. After all, old man Shimotsuki is an expert in ninja tool forging in the Kirigakure Village.
After thinking for a long time, Kaito decided to ask the other party for help on how to deal with the damaged swords.
Inside the cabin, Kaito's room.
“It can’t be fixed.”
Shimotsuki Ichiro, who had been holding the "Weaknessless Soaring Shortswords" and observing them for a long time, suddenly uttered these words.
Upon hearing this, Kaito staggered and almost sprained his waist.
He thought the old man would take out various tools, study them carefully for a long time and then come up with some brilliant advice, but he ended up sentencing the pair of swords to death.
Looking at the smooth broken edges of the two swords, Kaito asked questions with some confusion.
"Shimotsuki-san, do you think this weapon is too badly damaged?"
Faced with the doubts, Shimotsuki Ichiro immediately puffed out his beard and glared.
"What do you know, kid? This thing is more of a magical tool than a weapon. It just happens to look like a sword."
"Magic weapon?"
"That's right. You can call it a ninja tool or a magic weapon. According to what you said, this pair of swords can allow the user to control the wind, and..." Old Man Shimotsuki flicked the sword again. "When this ninja tool was first made, the strength was not considered. It is obviously not suitable for chopping and colliding, so it was cut off so easily."
Kaito was a little confused.
"Um so, what does this have to do with being unrepairable?"
Shimotsuki Ichiro simply rolled his eyes at him.
"Have you heard of the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths? The method of making the tools has long been lost, and what remains are just poor imitations. I am a blacksmith, and I can't make tools, so I naturally can't repair them."
"I"
Kaito forced himself to hold back what he was about to say.
"Then this magic weapon is useless, right?"
"Not really. Although I don't understand the structure of the magic weapon, at least the materials of these two swords are very precious."
Old man Shimotsuki looked at Kaito hopefully, waiting for him to continue the conversation.
However, Kaito didn't say anything, and looked like he could tell you to say whatever you want. Shimotsuki Ichiro had to hide his embarrassment and continue talking.
"Ahem, if you need it, I can help you make it into a good sword. But I'll keep half of the materials."
After saying that, Shimotsuki Ichiro glanced at Kaito, but seeing that Kaito was completely indifferent, the old man became a little anxious.
"Give me at least one third!"
In fact, what Kaito cared about was not the issue of reward, but the fact that Kaito's own fighting style did not involve much use of melee weapons.
Of course, it doesn't mean that Kaito can't use a sword. After all, due to the ninja characteristics of the Kirigakure Village, the ninja school teaches some basic swordsmanship.
However, Kaito still positions himself as a ninjutsu ninja, or even a medical ninja. The use of weapons actually affects his ability to form hand seals and release ninjutsu.
Normally, when he really needs close combat, a kunai is barely enough. When he needs to cast a hand seal, he will just throw a kunai out to interfere with the enemy, and he won’t feel bad if it is thrown away.
Previously, he wanted to repair the pair of swords because of their ability to blow away enemies, which was almost like the beggar version of Shinra Tensei. As for reforging them into swords, Kaito was a little hesitant.
Shimotsuki Ichiro seemed to see what Kaito was thinking and began to persuade him.
"Don't think that the magic tool seems very powerful. I have lived for so many years. I have seen many ninjas who were complacent because they got a powerful or strange ninja tool. In the end, these people basically indulged in it and their strength stagnated."
"But ninja swords are different. Excellent ninja swords will better display their strength as their masters grow."
Just when Kaito was somewhat moved by what old man Shimotsuki said and was about to agree to the other party.
Suddenly there was a hurried knock on the door outside the room.
