Although Zabuza was confused, he immediately understood what Mirukawa Kaito meant.
He endured the dizziness caused by the loud noise and immediately formed hand seals to perform ninjutsu.
"Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu" x4
Kaito looked at Kushimaru in astonishment.
He was not surprised that his teammate Terumi Mei could understand what he meant just like Zabuza.
But how did you, Kushimaru, an ANBU Jōnin, interpret the gesture of pointing one hand to the sky as the Hidden Mist Jutsu?
However, Reality did not give Kaito the time to continue observing Kushimaru.
The quadruple Hidden Mist Jutsu turned the beach into a pitch-black mist.
Several Kirigakure ninjas instantly jumped backwards and left their original position.
Now it’s Kirigakure’s home court!
Kushimaru and Yako disappeared immediately after the mist completely covered them, apparently thinking that it would be more suitable for them to fight alone at this time.
Ao also wanted to hide and look for an opportunity to launch a sneak attack on the opponent, but was stopped by Kaito.
Kaito said in a low voice.
"Ao-sensei, I remember that the Yamanaka clan's Perception Ninjutsu can see through the Mist Hidden Jutsu. Be careful, or find a chance to kill him first!"
Ao was not dissatisfied with the fact that Kaito, his student, was commanding him at this time. Instead, he spoke out to remind the three students.
"The three of you should not act separately. The opponents are basically all Jōnin. Protect yourselves first."
After saying this, Ao's figure also disappeared in the mist.
It seemed that both parties were looking for opportunities while on guard, and the mist seemed unusually quiet for a moment.
Suddenly a somewhat hoarse voice came from all directions.
"Throat, spine, lungs, liver."
It was the voice of Kushimaru, Kaito thought speechlessly.
‘My goodness, This is the routine that has been passed down from generation to generation by Seven Ninja Swordsmen, right?’
However, the complaints in his heart did not interrupt his actions. Kaito quickly wrote an intelligence scroll, handed it to Blue who had just been summoned with Summoning jutsu, and then he immediately canceled the summoning.
"It's safe for now. Once the information is transmitted, it won't be too late to summon Blue if the battle is not over."
Seeing that Kaito had completed the operation at hand, the three-person team moved again and changed positions silently.
At this moment, the sound of fighting could be heard in the distance, but no one knew who had started fighting with the Konoha ninja.
Suddenly, several sounds of breaking wind were heard from the mist, and then dozens of shurikens flew out, colliding and changing directions continuously in the air, and finally all shot towards Kaito and the other two.
The three of them had just managed to dodge the attacks when they were immediately stabbed in the back by three armed Uchiha ninjas.
"No! Be careful!"
The Uchiha clan's senior ninja noticed something was wrong and quickly spoke out to warn them.
But it was too late.
Several steel wire traps suddenly appeared from the ground and quickly wrapped around the ankles of the three Uchiha ninjas.
It was only then that the three attackers discovered that the wounds of the three little devils that were pierced were actually leaking out clear water.
"Pah~" x3
The three water clones exploded into splashes of water at the same time.
The first Jōnin to notice something was wrong immediately jumped out of the way to avoid the trap.
However, the two Chūnins were not so lucky. They reacted a little slower and were entangled by the wire in their legs.
Fortunately, Kaito was kind-hearted. Without waiting for the two to scream out in pain, he immediately drew out his short sword and delivered a fatal blow.
"Aerial Ace"
Along with a subtle murmur, a bluish-white blade light instantly cut through the air, leaving a fleeting afterimage in the mist.
If it weren't for the thick mist caused by Kaito's quick movement, one would even doubt whether an attack had just taken place.
As Kaito sheathed his sword, his figure was once again obscured by the returning thick mist, and large amounts of blood spurted out from the necks of the two Chūnins.
This scene made the Uchiha Jōnin who was still in the air furious, but Kaito and the other two had prepared a backup plan for him.
Dozens of dirt clods formed a barrage and shot over, completely covering the figure of the Jōnin.
But the opponent was a Jōnin after all, he quickly formed seals with both hands in the air, tilted his head slightly, and then a huge fireball came out of his mouth.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu"
This Uchiha clan's signature ninjutsu directly burned all the incoming dirt into pieces.
"Zabuza! Come back!"
A loud shout stopped Zabuza who was about to attack the opponent from behind.
A trace of regret flashed in the eyes of the Uchiha Jōnin, and he retracted the long sword that was about to chop behind him.
Kaito and the other two reunited and carefully watched the Uchiha Jōnin who was on guard in the mist.
"What a pity, we only managed to kill two Chūnins." Zabuza, whose sneak attack failed in the end, complained in a low voice with some dissatisfaction.
"That's right. It's not that easy to kill a Jōnin. It's because we have the first-hand advantage and we are in the Hidden Mist Jutsu. Otherwise, We would even have a hard time dealing with the Chūnins."
"I don't know what Konoha was thinking, sending the Uchiha to our side."
After hearing what Kaito said, Terumi Mei was a little confused about what Konoha was doing.
Let’s not talk about how effective the Uchiha clan’s Fire Style Jutsu, which they are good at, can be against the ninjas from the Kirigakure Village.
Even the signature bloodline limit of the number one clan in the ninja world, the 'Sharingan', was completely suppressed by the D-rank Hidden Mist Jutsu.
Instead of the Sunagakure Village battlefield where fire overcomes wind, they threw the Uchiha clan into the Kirigakure battlefield.
In response to Mei's question, Kaito could only smile awkwardly and didn't know how to explain.
In the original work, Terumi Mei used water style jutsu to extinguish Madara's Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame, and also tried to use the Hidden Mist Jutsu to block the Rinnegan.
This shows how deeply the fact that the Uchiha clan was restrained by the Kirigakure ninjas was deeply rooted in people's minds.
"Stop talking nonsense. Should we kill this Uchiha Jōnin or not?" Zabuza looked at his two teammates with some impatience.
Kaito thought about it and then said, "Well, I'll attract the other party's attention head-on, and then find another opportunity to try it. If it doesn't work, I'll retreat."
But just as Kaito had finished speaking, Zabuza suddenly raised his hand and reminded him.
"Two more have arrived. They seem to be the last two Chūnins."
"F*ck! What are Ao-sensei and the others doing?! Retreat!"
If there was no prior arrangement, Kaito did not want to rashly fight against a team led by a senior ninja.
And after all, they were in the mist, so they could find an opportunity to launch a sneak attack at any time.
“It’s too late!”
A strong wind suddenly blew up in front of the left of the three people, dispersing some of the mist. Fortunately, the four layers of mist were thick enough, and only a part of it was blown away slightly before it began to flow back quickly.
However, it was too late for the three of them to retreat.
"You two go take care of those two Chūnins, and leave the Jōnin to me."
Kaito took advantage of the moment when the three enemies discovered him and quickly formed seals and performed summoning techniques while giving instructions to his teammates.
Seeing that Blue, who was summoned by the Summoning jutsu, no longer had the information scroll in his hand, Kaito felt a little comforted.
There was no time to plan any tactics with the little frog. He just gave him a look, and the rest depended on tacit understanding.
"Blue, let's go."
