Naruto Pokemon chapter 70

The pursuit team assembled on the west side of the camp.
It's just a strange combination of three jōnin, three chūnin, and three genin.
Fortunately, the team is led by Kuriarare Kushimaru and Yako, five of whom are members of the Kirigakure Anbu, and Ao also has a wide range of perception capabilities, which is more in line with the needs of pursuit.
However, it is still obvious that Kushimaru is dissatisfied with the three Genin of Team Ao.
When the patrolling ninjas saw the pursuit team coming, they immediately made way and saluted Kushimaru respectfully.
"Kushimaru-sama, the spy escaped from this direction. There is also the body of a perception ninja and a sentry here. The time of death is no more than ten minutes."
Kushimaru walked closer and squatted down to examine the two bodies. One had a pierced heart and the other had a slit throat. Both were fatal with a single clean blow.
"Chakra scalpel? Hehe."
Kushimaru casually patted the non-existent stains on his hands, no longer paying attention to the corpse on the ground, and waved his hand to signal the pursuit team to follow.
Although he was forced to participate in this mission, Ao could only try his best to complete it.
After catching up with Kushimaru, Ao immediately used his Perception Ninjutsu to investigate, and then spoke.
"Kushimaru-sama, we didn't find any enemy figures within our sensing range, but they didn't hide their escape tracks, so there might be an ambush."
Kushimaru just nodded and didn't care too much.
He didn't care about anyone except Orochimaru from Konoha. As a frontline commander, it was impossible for Orochimaru to go out of the camp and set an ambush for uncertain pursuers.
"Don't worry about it, keep the Perception Ninjutsu activated and continue chasing."
The west side of the camp faces the border of the Land of Fire, so the pursuit team does not have to worry about the direction. They just follow the traces left by Yakushi Nono and accelerate all the way to the beach.
The other people on the road were a little surprised at the speed of the three Genin of Team Ao. They thought that these three would just hold them back, but their speed was not inferior to that of the three Chunin subordinates of Yako.
However, Kushimaru didn't say much about this. At most, they were just three little kids with decent strength, not worth his attention.
Kaito did not bring Blue with him on this pursuit mission.
Now the chakra consumption of the Summoning Blue is not large, so let the little frog stay in the camp and summon it to fight when needed. If there is an emergency, Kaito can also cancel the summoning and let it transmit the information back to the camp.
This can be considered as a way out that Kaito left for himself.
Not long after leaving the camp, Ao suddenly gestured and spoke without stopping.
"A target was spotted moving quickly two kilometers away. No! There are two targets, moving separately. I suspect they are shadow clones."
"Yako, lead your team to follow the trail. Ao, lead the way and chase the other one."
Kushimaru did not hesitate and directly ordered the troops to be divided.
Kaito heard the conversation in front of him and felt that something was wrong. He thought that the pursuit team was doomed to fail this time.
Although the three of them were moving no slower than ordinary Chunins, Yakushi Nono should be a real Jōnin.
If she found pursuers from behind, she only needed to use her speed as a jōnin and she would not be caught up by them at all.
If the other party didn't notice the pursuers, why would she use shadow clones to confuse the enemy?
There was no time for Kaito to think, as Kuriarare Kushimaru, who was in the front, had already spotted the fleeing yellow-haired figure.
Kushimaru no longer suppressed his speed to accommodate the members of Team Ao. He directly pulled out the Long Blade: Nuibari and rushed behind the yellow-haired figure in a few instants.
"Go to hell."
A bloodthirsty smile appeared on Kushimaru's face under the mask. He raised the Long Blade: Nuibari and stabbed at the figure. From the very beginning, he didn't care about Suikazan Fuguki's order to capture someone alive.
As long as he can bring the body back, Kushimaru will consider his mission accomplished.
"Puff~~"
Before Kushimaru could feel any joy, the figure with the needle piercing its chest exploded into a ball of smoke.
"That Bitch!"
Kushimaru, who was furious and humiliated, turned around and ran in another direction without caring whether the members of Team Ao behind him were following him or not.
“~”
Just at this moment, a flare rose in the direction of Yako.
Seeing this, the members of Team Ao quickly followed Kushimaru's pace.
However, when everyone arrived at the shore, what they saw was not the scene of the five people from the Kirigakure besieging Yakushi Nono, but instead Kushimaru and Yako struggling to resist the siege of nine Konoha ninjas.
"Watch your step!"
Following Kaito's reminder, the four people saw the shadows of the woods nearby suddenly come alive and quickly extend towards their feet.
Fortunately, Kaito had given them a heads-up in advance, and all four of them jumped to avoid the sneak attack.
When Kushimaru and Yako saw Team Ao arriving, they took advantage of the Konoha ninjas' alert to retreat over here and confront the enemy.
Both of them suffered serious injuries, and Yako even had an obvious penetrating wound in his abdomen.
Kaito didn't care whether he would be targeted by the enemy if his identity as a medical ninja was exposed at this time, and he immediately formed hand seals and cast Aqua Ring to heal the two of them.
The enemy had obviously been lying in ambush here for a long time. If there were more casualties at this time, everyone might die here.
Yako, whose injuries had eased a little, quickly spoke up to share information with everyone.
"The Ino-Shika-Cho clan has three jōnin, the Uchiha clan has one jōnin and two chūnin, one Taijutsu jōnin, one Water Style Jutsu jōnin, and two chūnin."
The more Yako talked, the more depressed they became. Konoha's ambush actually had six jōnin and four chunins. No, there were two bodies wearing Konoha forehead protectors lying on the ground.
Even though Kushimaru and Yako both have the strength of elite jōnin, it is somewhat incredible that they can hold on until now.
"Isn't the spy here?" Ao asked after hearing the information.
"It has already fled to the sea, but it might be a trick. We still have to be careful of sneak attacks." Yako said uncertainly while receiving treatment.
Just a few minutes ago, when Yahu led his subordinates in pursuit of Yakushi Nono, they were ambushed by the enemy. Three of his Chunin subordinates died on the spot. Yako escaped here with great difficulty, and there was no way to escape.
Kushimaru, who arrived at full speed, showed up and killed two Chunins, and attracted a lot of the enemy's attention, and finally held out until Team Ao arrived.
But now there is still a huge gap in the combat power between the two sides.
It is obvious that Kaito and the other two are not strong enough to fight, so the other side will certainly not let go of the duck they have caught.
The Jōnin who seemed to be from the Yamanaka clan spoke after completing his perception.
"There is no other support, only these four people, and the one leading is a jōnin."
"Tsk! Then let's take care of them all at once!"
The Uchiha clan's jōnin was clearly getting impatient by this point.
The other Konoha ninjas breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this and immediately prepared to launch another attack.
Kaito didn't have time to explain. He threw a spherical object to the other side, then immediately jumped back and shouted, "Back off."
Seeing an unidentified object flying towards them, the Konoha ninjas naturally would not remain indifferent.
The Jōnin of the Akimichi clan stretched out his right hand, and the arm quickly grew larger in the air, like a wall blocking all the Konoha ninjas, ready to grab the ball.
However, as soon as the giant hand made contact, the ball exploded immediately.
"boom--"
A deafening roar was heard, knocking all the Konoha ninjas rushing forward to the ground.
However, Kaito himself knew that the [sound bomb] he had just thrown out was just a lot of noise but little effect. It might be able to disturb the enemy, but it would not cause much damage to the opponent.
Attacking at this time might kill one or two Konoha ninjas, but it does not guarantee victory for everyone.
Without much time to think, Kaito chose to turn to his teammates and shout loudly.
However, since the Kirigakure people were not far from the center of the explosion, they were also suffering from tinnitus and loss of voice at this time, and could not hear what Kaito said.
Kaito immediately faced Zabuza and made a gesture with one hand making a seal and the other hand pointing to the sky.
