Naruto Pokemon chapter 16
🕑 Added 2024-09-30 12:10:01 +0000 UTCChapter 16 A Night Destined to Be Restless
Today is the last day of the limited-time survival pool’ event.
After a month of hard work and accumulation, Mirukawa Kaito's gold coins increased from 1,520 to 3,875.
This is not just the gold coins obtained from daily tasks.
During this month, in order to accumulate more gold coins to draw the limited-time prize pool, Kaito was teasing cats and dogs, bullying children, and rescuing poor neighbors.
He was doing whatever it takes and used all his rest time to trigger system achievements.
He even went to the village mission hall to take on ninja missions to try and see if he could trigger a new way to earn gold coins.
Unfortunately, the number of regular missions in the village has been greatly reduced recently, and most of the Genin missions need to be taken up by a team.
Without a team, Kaito couldn't stay in the mission hall for 24 hours waiting for the right mission, so in the end he had to give up with regret.
When the event ends tomorrow, the prize pool will disappear. Although he hasn't saved enough for the third ten-draw, he still has to start the draw.
Having drawn lots of prizes many times, Kaito is quite familiar with it.
After washing his hands, face, and praying to the gods, he opened the system panel.
Although the Water Attribute Pool had accumulated a guaranteed 30 draws, Kaito did not hesitate any longer and directly chose the Survival Pool.
"Let's do 20 consecutive draws first!"
Two balls of light in the system panel spun and shook at high speed, then exploded.
Dazzling streams of light flew out in all directions.
"Sigh, there is no golden prize."
Although he said that with his luck, there was no guarantee that the gold prize would come out, he still had some expectations.
Unfortunately, reality always fulfills your wishes when you least expect it.
"ε=(ο｀*)))quack~"
Although the little frog didn't understand why Kaito sighed, he also echoed him.
When Kaito shook his head, perked up and focused his eyes on the reward panel, a hint of joy still appeared on his face.
Prize:
[Ability: Anticipation] (Purple item: Passive effect without consumption, enables the owner of this trait to sense the surrounding dangers in advance.)
[TM: Safeguard] (Purple item: Attributeless secret jutsu. After forming a seal and releasing the secret jutsu, you will be granted an effect that allows you to be immune to most abnormal states. This effect continuously consumes mental energy.)
[Focus Sash] (Purple item: Even if you are hit by a fatal attack, you will not die after carrying it. You will only fall into a coma due to serious injuries. The item will enter a cooldown period of 1 year after taking effect once.)
[Hyper Potion] (Blue item: Can be taken orally or used externally, greatly recovers the user's injuries.)
[Super Potion]*3 (Blue item: can be taken orally or used externally, moderately restores the user's injuries.)
White items*13
It really is worthy of being an event prize pool, the three purple prizes all look pretty good.
First of all, [Anticipation] is a god-rank passive skill that is no less than a golden item. It is often the protagonist's life-saving weapon in various stories. For Kaito who may have to go to the battlefield in the future, it is a very practical Ability.
Kaito integrated the Anticipation Ability light ball into his body without saying a word, and he will later find an opportunity to test the actual effect of this passive ability.
Since the [Safeguard] was an esoteric scroll, Kaito immediately had a general understanding of this esoteric art after the knowledge was instilled.
It's a little different from what he imagined at first. The immunity to most abnormal conditions mentioned in the skill description is not as invincible as it seems.
This secret jutsu is mainly used to target abnormal conditions caused by control-type ninjutsu, such as various illusions and the Yamanaka clan's mind-transfer jutsu. He can be immune to control effects during the duration of the secret jutsu.
It's not like in the Pokémon games, where you can be immune to any abnormal condition such as burns, frostbite, and poisoning.
Moreover, as an active skill, it needs to be released in advance, which greatly reduces the value of this ninjutsu.
It can only be said that it is very useful in specific scenarios.
Finally about [Focus Sash].
It looks like it has a strong effect, and it is actually very strong, but the conditions for use are a bit too harsh.
It’s not that the effect of saving life once a year is too little, but after this thing saves his life, it will cause him to fall into a coma with serious injuries.
If he was seriously injured and fell unconscious on the battlefield, it would probably not be much different from dying directly.
All he can say is that his life was saved, but not completely.
Having said that, Kaito still tied the [Focus Sash] to his arm immediately and sincerely. After all, being alive is better than dying directly.
Kaito even planned to install his own Kirigakure Village emblem on it, and weld it to his left arm and never take it off again.
Although the last two prizes were not as perfect as he had imagined, Kaito felt that the [Anticipation] alone was worth the money.
As usual, he put away the blue and white items, then picked out the ones he could use and put them in his ninja tool bag to carry with him.
Kaito started to feel a little confused.
He currently has 675 gold coins left, and he can make 4 single draws. He is a little confused about whether to use them directly in the prize pool of this event.
And although three purple items have been drawn today, the only 'TM' is still a scroll without attributes.
He didn't draw any other attribute ninjutsu, and when he opened a new permanent prize pool, he always felt like something was missing.
"Blue, do you think I should continue the lottery?”
Kaito, who was a little undecided, began to ask Blue for help pitifully.
"(⊙_⊙)? Quack~"
Blue looked at his master who was asking him the question and shook his head in confusion.
Although Blue's shaking head did not mean he didn't want it, it gave Kaito a way out and made him give up the idea of taking a gamble.
After all, four draws require 11 days of daily tasks.
If used in this event prize pool that will end tomorrow, there will be neither a guaranteed ten-draw purple nor a cumulative number of guaranteed gold items.
If he draws 4 white prizes such as daily necessities, his good mood of getting three life-saving items today will probably disappear completely.
"Let's just stay in the Water Attribute Pool and draw from it."
Let's get myself a golden reward of Water Attribute first, maybe it will bring about a qualitative improvement in my combat power.
Letting go of the little obsession in his heart, Kaito could finally fall asleep peacefully in a good mood after drawing the reward.
It's just that some people are destined not to sleep tonight.
On a small island near the Kirigakure Village.
It just happened to be the island where Kaito and other medical ninjas were undergoing closed training.
The few temporary buildings left over from that time are still in the center of the island.
Although there were obviously many people moving around on the island at the moment, no one planned to spend the night in the building.
From noon today until now, more than one hundred Ninja School students on this small island have been fighting each other for their graduation examinations.
If anyone wants to rest in such a conspicuous building in the center of the island, he will definitely become the target of public criticism.
It's somewhat ironic that three months ago, a group of doctors and ninjas who had never met each other helped and guided each other in their studies in order to become medical ninjas.
At this moment, a group of teenagers who are only about 10 years old have to kill at least one classmate they have known for several years and seize the token in the other party's hand in order to pass the assessment and become a Genin.
According to the original plan of the Ninja School, all students would receive a token and board the island, and then the ship would leave.
When the ship arrives again at noon the next day, students with two tokens can board the ship and leave, officially becoming a Genin in the Blood Mist Village.
However, at this moment on the island, there is a student who seems to disagree with the Ninja School's plan.
Momochi Zabuza looked and saw that the night was getting darker and darker, approaching complete darkness.
He clenched the kunai in his hand and prepared to take action.
