"Why is there a little demon here?"
The blue-haired Taki-nin couldn't help but be stunned when he saw Kumokawa, especially after he noticed the other party's ease and comfort, he felt an extremely strong sense of disobedience.
But soon the blue-haired Taki-nin shook his head and shook off those inexplicable thoughts.
He was a little nervous and afraid of everything.
He's just a kid in his teens. No matter how weird he is, there's nothing to be afraid of.
Even if the Third Raikage was standing in front of him, he would dare to touch him in his current soul state.
The soul is an extremely strange and mysterious thing. Mystery, to some extent, means power.
Secret techniques involving the soul have only appeared a few times in the ninja world over thousands of years.
For those ninjas who specialize in ninjutsu and taijutsu, unless their body is destroyed before he invades their mental space, they will definitely suffer serious damage even if they are not controlled.
Although he couldn't kill the soul directly now, he could still make the enemy faint.
Only those ninjas who specialize in illusions and master special secret techniques, because they usually practice Yin-attribute Chakra, will have some resistance to attacks on the soul level.
However, there are very few people in the entire ninja world who have mastered this kind of secret technique and illusion technique, so it is impossible for the little demon in front of him to harm his soul.
"Humph, if you want to blame it, it's your own bad luck that you suddenly stood in front of me!"
Thinking of this, the blue-haired Taki-nin didn't think any more and turned into a phantom surrounded by a faint white light and instantly rushed into Kumokawa's body.
However, just before he was about to sink into the mental space, the faint playful smile on Kumokawa's face made the blue-haired Taki-nin pause subconsciously.
What's wrong with this guy?
"Don't dare to come in? Then I'll help you!"
Seeing that he wanted to go in but didn't dare to, Kumokawa smiled and raised his hand. His palm was surrounded by spiritual energy and emitted a strange light, and he suddenly slapped it on blue-haired Taki-nin’s soul.
Buzz!!
As a buzzing sound was heard, the soul of the blue-haired Taki-nin was completely integrated, and ripples appeared on Kumokawa's body surface, but soon it returned to calm again.
Kumokawa raised his deep eyes and looked at the figure appearing in the distance.
"Boss?!"
Yahiko came after him breathlessly, but he didn't expect to see this scene. He was dumbfounded for a moment, his jaw seemed to drop, and he said incoherently: "You, he, you just ate him? No...hiss!"
He stumbled over his words and failed to speak clearly, instead he bit his tongue and gasped in pain.
Seeing his clumsy look, Kumokawa couldn't help but feel a little funny.
However, after seeing the injuries all over his body, the smile on his face faded a little. He walked over and patted him on the shoulder, saying, "You did a good job this time."
Upon hearing this, Yahiko, who was originally jumping up and down and gasping for breath, stiffened and fell into silence for a long time.
His eardrum was damaged, and the sounds he heard now sounded blurry and unclear, as if they were coming through a noisy wind.
But even if I couldn't hear clearly what the boss said, I could tell from his expression and actions that he must be encouraging and recognizing me.
However, he thought he would be very happy to get the recognition he had always desired.
But what surprised Yahiko was that the little bit of joy that emerged in his heart was instantly drowned out by other emotions.
Feeling guilty, sad, worried about gains and losses...
“Boss.” Yahiko slowly raised his head and looked at Kumokawa in front of him, smiling slightly bitterly and shaking his head, “Of the five hundred people you and that red-haired brat gave me, only half are left. I…”
"I'm sorry for you, sorry for Nagato, sorry for them, and even more sorry for their... families."
Yahiko knew very well in his heart that the boss's strength far exceeded his own.
If he had been leading those demons, there wouldn't have been so many casualties.
Yahiko certainly had no intention of blaming Kumokawa, because he knew very well that this was a disaster they had to go through.
Fight for peace!
Fighting means bloodshed!
Struggle is not Kumokawa’s responsibility alone, it is the common goal of all of them.
They cannot live under Kumokawa's wings forever. Since they want to keep up in Kumokawa's footsteps, everything they experience today is just the beginning.
Yahiko wants to change the Land of Rain, and even more so, he wants to change the world.
Therefore, as early as when he stood in front of the statue of the evil god in the evil cult of the Land of Hot Springs, held the child in his arms, and killed the woman with a sword himself, Yahiko had already abandoned his kindness. ( Evil God = Jashin)
He knew that the Evil God Cult was just a microcosm, and similar tragedies were happening every moment and everywhere in the ninja world.
Yahiko once didn't understand and was once confused.
He doesn't understand why this happened, and he doesn't understand how to change the world.
It was not until he returned to City of Dawn and Kumokawa handed him several books that he finally found the answer.
Death is the first reason for the emergence of faith.
As soon as people are born, they have to face war and death. This is something that many people cannot accept. Is death the end of life?
Therefore, some people began to look for the meaning of life, which was the original belief.
Suffering and pain are the second reason for faith.
Many people say that the result of death is not the most terrible thing. What really tortures people is the process leading to death and despair, as if there is an invisible hand dragging people into the abyss.
Faith is like a rope, or just a life-saving straw, which gives people courage and hope.
Including the leader of the evil cult, these followers were once a group of civilians.
The reason why the evil god cult exists and has developed to that extent is because of this wrong world.
A person will die three times in his life.
The first time, when your heart stops beating and breathing stops, you are declared dead physiologically;
The second time, when you are buried, people attend your funeral wearing black. They declare that you no longer exist in this society and you leave quietly.
The third time you die is when the last person in this world who remembers you forgets you. Then, you are truly dead and the whole world has nothing to do with you anymore.
If those believers do not have faith to support themselves in living in this world, then they are just a group of walking corpses with no future.
At any time, it is possible to die silently like a weed, with no one noticing, no one caring, and no one remembering it.
After death, they will only turn into a handful of soil and disappear in the wind amid the cries of their loved ones. In this self-absorbed world, it won’t be long before those loved ones will forget them. When that time comes, they will be truly dead.
They had no choice.
They can only place their hopes on the illusory "God", begging God to save them from this chaotic world and to grant them new life after their death.
Therefore, in Yahiko's opinion, if there were not so many wars, not so much misfortune, not so much death, not so much suffering in this world...
Even if the evil cult appears, it will not be able to be so powerful. Tragedies may still exist, but they will not be so numerous.
Yahiko doesn't want something like the Evil Cult to happen again, so he is determined to change such a world, no matter how much sacrifice it requires.
Unfortunately, he was still unable to be absolutely rational. He could not watch people die, let alone coldly judge their deaths as "reasonable" sacrifices.
Sacrifice, this word sounds light and airy, but what lies before his eyes are not the "numbers" of death, but the cold and lifeless corpses of those who were once alive.
Of course, those "demons" also have their own families, including their own parents, children, wives, and husbands.
Even though they were willing to die here because of their own lack of ability and were willing to make sacrifices for it, Yahiko still could not feel the slightest joy in his heart.
Some people only feel powerless and hate their own weak power.
Thinking of this, Yahiko gritted his teeth and said, "I..."
But before he could finish his words, a hand was placed on his head, interrupting him from continuing.
"Everything that is born will eventually come to an end and return to its proper place, even I am no exception. You only have 500 people, but Takigakure has 3,000. It's already pretty good to be able to do this."
Kumokawa rubbed his head vigorously, looked around with deep eyes, and smiled: "What's more, death is never the end of life, it's just the wandering and sleep of the soul."
He does not have the idea like Hashirama Senju that "the dead cannot interfere with the living". He enjoys pleasure and does whatever he wants, so naturally he would not like an ending with regrets.
As for whether the old man Sage of Six Paths has any opinions...
What does it have to do with him?
He has done what he should do now, and is about to do what he shouldn't do, but the old man Sage of Six Paths didn't say a word.
If Sage of Six Paths has the ability, he can just open the coffin lid and jump out of the Pure Land to face him. He happens to be interested in the Pure Land, so Sage of Six Paths will know if Sage of Six Paths can defeat him after trying.
Besides, even if the old man Sage of Six Paths stays in the Pure Land and doesn't come out, Kumokawa plans to take the initiative to find him in the future.
After the “Shinigami Legion” and “Hollow Legion” are trained out, take them directly to the Pure Land of the old man Sage of Six Paths.
Thinking of this, Kumokawa lowered his head to look at Yahiko. Just as he was about to continue speaking, he saw Yahiko with a silly look on his face. He touched his ears with his hands and said, "Boss, what are you talking about? I can't hear you clearly now. It seems like you just open your mouth but don't say anything."
“……”
Indeed, I shouldn't expect this fool to say anything nice.
Kumokawa couldn't help but twitch the corners of his eyes. He raised the hand that was originally rubbing his head and punched Yahiko on the head.
Ignoring Yahiko stupid look of crouching with his hands on his head, Kumokawa looked around, sensing the battle that was still going on around him.
Although the cooperation between the Kagero Village ninjas and the demons currently have the upper hand, at least one-third of the Taki-nins have not been eliminated, and it does not seem like something that can be resolved in a short time.
"Never mind, it's not bad for the first time."
Kumokawa sighed, slowly raised his hand, and said, "So, I will be the one to clean up the place in the end."
As soon as he finished speaking, an incomparably terrifying spiritual pressure burst out from his body, and the air around him made a whistling sound. It was as if a mountain-like pressure burst out from his body, and the ground where he was standing on was collapsing.
Crack! Crack!
Feeling the immense pressure and threat of death, Yahiko subconsciously jumped back, forcing himself to pull a hundred meters away before stopping and looking over with wide eyes.
He saw a lot of stone chips peeling off from the ground and flying into the air, and the cracks on the ground began to spread, as if there was an invisible force impacting, invisible but real, and the proof of it was the violent airflow, which was a violent current stirred up by spiritual pressure, and the branches and leaves of the surrounding trees were blown into pieces.
And that extremely strong spiritual pressure began to gather and condense towards Kumokawa's right hand, forming a short sword similar to a wakizashi, with an S-shaped guard.
It looks simple, but it is like a poisonous snake lurking in the bushes, as if staring at its prey with its fangs bared!
At the same time, further away, whether it was Yoru who was rushing towards this side, or Kakuzu who took out the heart of the blue-haired Taki-nin, or the "demons" who were fighting to the death around them, two words sounded in their minds at the same time.
"Kneel down."
This voice seemed to sound from deep within the brain, a controlling force that came from the depths of the flesh and blood soul.
And everyone, including the "demon", abandoned the enemy in front of them the moment the voice sounded, pressed down the head of the Kagero Village Ninjas, and knelt on one knee without hesitation.
The next moment, Kumokawa reached out and grasped the silver-white hilt of the sword.
He placed his hand on his left shoulder, and swung the sword in his hand solemnly and slowly, drawing a sharp arc in front of him, and whispered:
"Bankai: Kamishini no Yari."
At this moment, within a few hundred meters, the Taki-nins were stunned by their opponent's sudden kneeling down. Before they could react, the taste of death appeared.
Squeak!!
The crescent-like arc of light instantly extended hundreds of meters long, and the terrifying airflow was like a circular shock wave emitted by the explosion, which lifted the ground horizontally like a chariot passing through a quagmire and enveloped all the surrounding Taki-nins.
Nothing could stop the sharp blade of the "Bankai: Kamishini no Yari". The surrounding air was torn open by this blade, and the whistling airflow and the surrounding trees were divided up and down at this moment.
The Taki-nins who were hit head-on seemed to be frozen in place without any signs of slowing down. Their faces covered by the mask looked a little dazed, and the hideous laughter was even frozen on their faces. Time seemed to have stopped in this instant.
Gradually, the separated airflow filled back little by little, and the whistling sound of the swinging sword became very long.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
The next moment, the Taki-nins who were either standing or rushing forward suddenly lost their balance.
Yahiko and the others felt a storm flow like a sword cutting through their heads, and everything "standing" in front of them seemed to be "cut off in the chest" as if swept by an invisible sword.
The parts of those Taki-nins above the chest were separated from the lower body, and they fell to the ground with confusion and helplessness in their eyes, looking like blood-red wheat cut with a sickle.
