"Kenji-kun!"
Kenji was awakened by Mizutani Shizuko, and then shook his head and said, "It's nothing."
After a short pause, Kenji continued the previous topic and said, "My dream is to awaken the Sharingan and become a powerful ninja."
Although he said this, Kenji did not take it as his dream.
Because as the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu' continues to upgrade, it is only a matter of time before he awakens the Sharingan.
In this way, with the help of the proficiency panel, growing into a powerful ninja is almost a certainty.
This naturally cannot be regarded as a dream.
If he really wants to establish a dream, he has only one, which is to transcend this world and see a broader scenery.
No matter how big the ninja world is, it is just a tiny star in the vast universe.
The reason why the extraordinary power of Chakra came into being is simply because the Otsutsuki clan planted a tree.
Since there is the Otsutsuki clan in the universe, it doesn't make sense that there would only be them.
Only by seeing more scenery and mastering more powerful powers can his life in this world be worthwhile.
However, this idea can only be buried in his heart at this stage and cannot be told to anyone, so Kenji just found an excuse to act as his dream.
"Sharingan? What Sharingan?"
Hearing Kenji's words, Ryosuke asked in confusion, and Mizutani Shizuko beside him also cast a curious look at him.
After all, they are two little kids. Although they are precocious, they still maintain a strong curiosity about things beyond their understanding.
Without waiting for Kenji to answer, Furukawa spoke first: "Sharingan is the bloodline ability of the Uchiha clan. The ninja who opened the Sharingan will be at least at the level of Chunin and as for the strongest."
Having said this, he paused for a moment, and cast his gaze towards the direction of the Valley of the End outside the village. After a long while, he said leisurely: "The strongest one will be comparable to the God of Shinobi!"
The existence of Uchiha Madara is no secret to some veteran jōnin, but few of the new generation know about it.
However, everyone is familiar with the name of the God of Shinobi.
This is also thanks to the existence of the Hokage Rock.
Anyone who aspires to become Hokage will unconsciously know the deeds of these people, and the first Hokage is no exception.
And when they learn about how the first Hokage ended the chaotic times and founded the Konohagakure Village, they will naturally admire him.
In this way, it would be hard for Senju Hashirama not to become famous.
But now, they suddenly found out that there is someone who can compare to him, and they can't help but feel surprised.
However, Furukawa did not go further into this topic.
Although Uchiha Madara is not an absolute taboo in Konoha, it is not good to talk about it too much, as it might cause unnecessary trouble one day.
Just now, he was just inspired after hearing Kenji's dreams.
Although he didn't know much about the Uchiha clan, Furukawa knew that the fact that Kenji was assigned to him meant that Kenji had little chance of awakening the Sharingan.
Otherwise, a jōnin from the Uchiha clan would teach them personally.
Therefore, awakening the Sharingan will only be an unattainable dream for Kenji.
But Furukawa would not tell this matter to anyone. It was good to have a thought in mind so as to avoid being lazy.
After resting for about half an hour, Furukawa clapped his hands and said, "Have you rested well? If you have, let's start the next test."
"Ah, there are more tests?"
Upon hearing this, Ryosuke sat up straight and said with a look of surprise.
Mizutani Shizuko also had a sad expression on her face.
Kenji, on the other hand, didn't react much.
Or rather, he had guessed it.
Although the drills before the official team formation will vary due to the experience of each jōnin-sensei, generally speaking, it will never be as simple as just now.
Therefore, Kenji had already guessed that this would happen.
"I just don't know what it's going to test? Teamwork? Or Willpower?"
Kenji was thinking about it, but he was not worried.
Unless someone is in a situation like Kakashi who has suffered extremely severe psychological trauma, the test won't be too difficult.
What's more, Konoha is in need of people right now. If everyone is kicked back to the Ninja School, what's the point of graduating early?
To put it another way, Kenji wouldn't care even if he was kicked back to the Ninja School.
Or rather, it's better that way.
If he could survive for another year, his strength would surely increase significantly, and his chance of survival would undoubtedly be much higher when he goes into the battlefield again.
But Kenji knew that this was impossible.
As for deliberately making mistakes and repeating a grade?
Do you really think that the Konoha high-level officials are just there to do nothing?
Just give it a quick glance and they'll immediately find out the trick - you have so much chakra, but your strength is mediocre, there's something wrong no matter how you look at it.
At that time, being regarded as a deserter would be fine, but if being regarded as a spy, it would be a big trouble.
So, it’s better to let nature take its course.
"That was just a basic test for you. What's coming next is the real test."
At this point, Furukawa paused for a moment, revealed a malicious smile, and said, "Also, I have a piece of news for you."
Gulp~
Looking at the ferocious smile on Furukawa's face, Ryosuke swallowed his saliva and asked cautiously, "What news?"
"If you fail the next test, you will be sent back to the Ninja School to repeat the grade."
"What?"
Upon hearing this, Ryosuke stood up.
Obviously, it was difficult for him to go back to school to retake the course.
"Furukawa-sensei, you are not kidding with us, are you?"
Ryosuke asked awkwardly.
“Hehe~”
Furukawa chuckled twice and did not answer his question. He just took out a scroll from his arms and said, "Next, your goal is to take this scroll from me. As for the Time limit..."
Furukawa glanced at the rising sun and said, "Before noon!"
"Sensei, you are a jōnin, and the three of us are only Genin. How can we possibly take the scroll from you within two hours?"
Ryosuke is not the ignorant Naruto. He has some knowledge about the gap between ninjas.
Not to mention that there are only three of them, even if there were thirty more, they might not be able to snatch anything from the jōnin.
Furukawa glanced at the somewhat frustrated Ryosuke and said, "Don't worry, I haven't finished what I'm saying yet."
"I will not initiate an attack, and I will not use anything that exceeds the level of Genin. Do you see that mountain in the distance?"
Kenji and others looked in the direction his hand pointed, and saw a mountain in the distance, about an hour away from here.
"I will go there in a moment. You can do an ambush or launch a surprise attack. As long as you can snatch the scroll from me before noon, you will pass the test."
"Is that so? That's a bit possible."
Ryosuke touched his chin, looking thoughtful.
Kenji rolled his eyes secretly when he heard what the other party said, thinking: "Where do you get your confidence from? We are just blank Genin. Even if Furukawa-sensei suppressed his strength to the Genin level, he has too much combat experience."
However, he just said these words in his heart. Kenji knew that Furukawa would not deliberately make things difficult for them.
Judging from the tests he set up, these tests are obviously closer to actual combat, and are likely to test our abilities in this area.
Then, in this process, observe what we do and determine our strengths and weaknesses, so as to lay the foundation for teaching us in accordance with our aptitude.
