Pah pah pah~
There was a burst of applause.
Kenji looked in the direction of the voice and saw a figure appear not far away, then flashed and came in front of him.
"Uncle!"
Seeing the person coming, Kenji bowed slightly.
This person is man named Uchiha Tobuhi, he is eighteen years old this year, his Sharingan has opened to Three Tomoe, and he is a genius in the Uchiha clan who has recently become famous.
Unfortunately, Kenji had never heard of this name in his previous life.
No one knows whether he died in the Ninja World War, or in a certain mission, or was killed by Itachi and turned into an unknown corpse.
Not knowing that Kenji was criticizing him in his heart, Uchiha Tobuhi nodded, glanced around, and said casually: "The Great Fireball Jutsu is well practiced!"
After that, without waiting for Kenji to say anything, he took out a scroll from his arms and threw it to Kenji, saying, "Hey, this is the Shadow Clone Jutsu you applied for. Remember not to spread it to others."
That's right, in addition to the 'Fire Style: Phoenix Fire Jutsu' and the 'Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu', as well as the 'Demonic Illusions: Shackle Stakes Jutsu' and the 'Body Flicker Jutsu', he also plans to learn the 'Shadow Clone Jutsu'.
Any ninja from the Uchiha clan, as long as he graduates from the Ninja School and becomes a Genin, can apply to the clan for a ninjutsu, genjutsu or taijutsu.
This is the welfare of the Uchiha clan.
Kenji has not received this benefit since graduation.
He is about to go to the battlefield, and he doesn't know when he will come back next time, so naturally he has to get this benefit first.
Moreover, he really wanted to learn this ninjutsu.
Because as the skill level increases, the proficiency required for each skill will increase, and he alone cannot take care of it all.
As a physical clone, the shadow clone can perfectly transfer experience and memory to the original body, so there is no need to worry about it not being able to help him increase his proficiency.
But how efficient it is remains to be seen.
After taking the scroll, Kenji roughly flipped through it, and after confirming that there was no problem, he thanked Uchiha Tobuhi.
Uchiha Tobuhi waved his hand, without staying for long, and left the place in a few flashes.
Kenji sat on the ground, carefully looking through the scroll in his hand. After a long time, when he confirmed that the other party had indeed left, he put the scroll away.
It’s no wonder that Kenji is so cautious. He simply has too many secrets. If any one of them is exposed, it will bring him endless troubles.
Kenji just wants to progress quietly and doesn't want to get involved in any trouble.
Therefore, he must be cautious.
Otherwise, he would not have used the 'Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu' immediately after noticing someone approaching, destroying everything around him.
You know, there is a difference in the effects of ninjutsu performed with the assistance of the Sharingan and without the assistance of the Sharingan.
Just like the 'Fire Style: Phoenix Fire Jutsu', the Uchiha ninja without eyes could indeed perform it, but they would never be able to control it as precisely as he did.
Ordinary people may not be able to see any subtle differences, but experienced Uchiha ninjas, especially those with awakened eyes, can basically find out the trick with just a glance.
By then, the secret of his awakening the Sharingan might be exposed.
Kenji didn't want to bet on whether the person coming was an Uchiha ninja, nor did he want to bet on whether the other party could tell, so it was better to burn it with fire.
Not only are there traces of his training, but even when he goes out on a daily basis, Kenji will not let his chakra volume exceed two thousand points.
You know, whether it is the Sharingan, the Byakugan, or some sensory Jutsu, they can all judge the amount of chakra in the ninja's body to a certain extent.
Then use this to determine the strength of the ninja.
Two thousand points is a safety line. If the value is lower than this, he may not be able to cope with any emergency.
If the value is higher than this, it may attract the prying eyes of others.
Although Kenji didn't think that anyone would pay special attention to a small fry like him, he still did not restore his chakra to more than 2,000 points just in case.
Anyway, he needed a lot of chakra to improve his proficiency, so he easily controlled the amount of chakra in his body.
Now, the only thing he needs to consider is whether he should maintain this state when he sets out for the Land of Rain with the team in a few days.
As you can imagine, this journey will not be peaceful.
Perhaps within the Land of Fire, the enemy would not dare to attack wantonly, but once they leave the Land of Fire and enter the Land of Rain, it’s hard to say.
At that time, if he fall into the trap due to insufficient chakra, it would be a big joke.
After standing there and thinking for a while, Kenji suddenly sighed and said to himself: "Hey! Now I just hope that there will be more people when we set off, otherwise it will be really difficult."
After saying that, he stopped thinking about it and started to seize the time to practice the "Body Flicker Jutsu".
As a predetermined means of escape, Kenji must upgrade it to a higher level.
······
Three days later.
In the morning.
Kenji dressed neatly, put on his ninja tool bag, fastened his forehead protector, put on his backpack, and walked out of the room.
Kenji walked through the streets and alleys and rushed to the gathering place.
Along the way, from time to time one could see one or two ninjas dressed similarly to him, carrying large and small bags and heading towards the gate of Konoha.
That’s right, today is the day we set off.
We must first gather at the entrance of Konoha Village, then count the number of people, and after confirming that everyone is here, we will rush to the battlefield of the Land of Rain together.
A few minutes later.
Kenji arrived at the entrance of Konoha Village.
At this time, quite a few people had gathered here.
In addition, there were dozens of carts lined up together, some carrying food, some loaded with ninja tools, in short, they were all full.
These are the things they need to escort to the front battlefield.
Whether in the past or this life, what is most important in a war is the logistical capabilities. If the logistics cannot keep up, the war cannot be won.
Therefore, in addition to these rookies, there were also many jōnin traveling together, and they were all jōnin from certain clans.
This made Kenji feel a little relieved.
After all, he only had 2,000 points of chakra in his body, which was not enough to unleash his full strength.
That’s right, in the end Kenji decided to maintain his previous state.
He didn't believe that he will so unlucky as to encounter an enemy that even 2,000 points of chakra can't defeat. If he really encountered one, at worst he could run away.
"Kenji, here!"
Just as Kenji was looking around, Ryosuke's voice came from the crowd.
Kenji looked in the direction of the voice and saw him and Furukawa standing in front of a cart. They were waving at him, so he walked over quickly.
Seeing Kenji coming over, before Ryosuke could speak, Furukawa asked first: "How is your practice of the Body Flicker Jutsu going?"
That’s right, Kenji learned the Body Flicker Jutsu from Furukawa.
This Jutsu was not included in the ninjutsu left by his predecessor's parents, and he didn't want to obtain it from his clan, wasting his precious opportunity on a mere D-level ninjutsu.
So, the attention was turned to Furukawa.
The Jōnin Sensei has the obligation to teach his students ninjutsu, so after hearing Kenji's request, Furukawa taught him this ninjutsu without much thought.
Logically speaking, Furukawa wanted to teach this Jutsu to Kenji after he was promoted to Chunin.
But Furukawa saw Kenji perform a C-level ninjutsu - Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu, and knew that a mere D-level ninjutsu was nothing to him.
So, there was no jam.
Now, a few days have passed, and Kenji heard Furukawa ask again.
Kenji secretly opened the panel and took a glance. The 'Body Flicker Jutsu' on it had changed from lv1 (10/200) to lv2 (15/500)!
With this level of proficiency, he can perform it in less than a second.
However, Kenji, in keeping with his usual low-key style, simply replied, "I've learned it."
"Really?"
After hearing Kenji's answer, Furukawa remained silent.
