Naruto proficiency chapter 23
🕑 Added 2024-09-23 15:01:49 +0000 UTCChapter 23: Ordinary
Three days later.
Northwestern part of Konoha.
Kenji and others came here in a forest.
"Is this it?"
Ryosuke looked around and asked.
"Um."
Furukawa nodded and said, "Next, you will collect herbs here according to the mission requirements. Remember, don't pick the wrong ones!"
That's right, they started their mission again today.
Just as Kenji thought, Furukawa did not continue to take C-level missions, but found a D-level mission of collecting herbs.
There is no doubt that this task must have been issued by the Nara clan.
After all, they are the ones who own this forest.
Not only are there various medicinal herbs that are difficult to cultivate artificially grown here, but there is also a large herd of deer raised, whose horns are all precious medicinal materials.
All things added together, the value is self-evident.
Therefore, even ninjas from the same village cannot enter without their permission.
It was only because they accepted the mission, otherwise they would have been stopped before they could get close.
"I know, I know"
Hearing Furukawa's instructions, Ryosuke waved his hands impatiently and muttered, "Really? Such a simple task can be done by ordinary people, but why do we have to do it?"
"Ryosuke, stop talking."
Hearing his words, Mizutani Shizuko first comforted him, and then explained seriously: "Although this forest is relatively safe, there are still occasional wild animals that stray into it. It would be very dangerous for ordinary people if they encounter it, so we, the Genin, have to do it."
Seeing Mizutani Shizuko explaining seriously, Ryosuke quickly said, "Okay, okay, Shizuko, stop reading, I get it!"
Seeing the two of them like this, Kenji secretly felt relieved.
Obviously, three days were enough time for them to adjust their mindset.
However, the mission three days ago did have an impact on them, even though they are behaving no differently than before.
But after seeing the blood, the childishness on their faces was obviously much less.
And this is probably the purpose of Furukawa and even the village.
He shook his head and stopped thinking about it.
Kenji had an idea and gathered some chakra under his feet. Then he followed the footsteps of his two companions and headed into the depths of the jungle.
After more than three days or nearly four days of practice, his 'Chakra Control' has been upgraded from lv2 (350/500) to lv3 (3/1000), and his control over chakra has been further strengthened.
Now, when he performs the same ninjutsu, he can save 15% of chakra while ensuring the power remains unchanged.
This is already the limit of what ordinary people can achieve.
Even for him, with the bonus of the proficiency panel, which can ensure continuous improvement, it is unlikely that he will have any new breakthroughs in a short period of time.
Because after being promoted to level 3, the efficiency of gaining proficiency is greatly reduced.
Before, he could gain about 40 to 50 points of proficiency a day, but now it is only 5 points at most.
Compared with the effort put in, this little gain is totally insignificant.
In other words, practicing 'Chakra Control' doesn't consume too much chakra, nor does it take up too much of his time, otherwise he would have stopped long ago.
He no longer intends to waste too much time and energy on it until he finds a more effective way to exercise.
From now on, he would probably only practice it in his 'spare' time.
Just like now, when he is collecting herbs and has nothing to do, he can practice.
"Kenji, hurry up!"
Just as Kenji was daydreaming, Ryosuke's voice came from the front.
Hearing this, Kenji replied, "Coming."
As he was speaking, he had already moved closer.
Time passed slowly, and Kenji and the other two were carrying out D-level tasks that required no technical skills, just like when they had just graduated.
In the blink of an eye, a week passed.
That night.
At home.
Kenji opened his eyes, let the special chakra stimulated by the "Heart-Reflecting Jutsu" in his brain dissipate, and slowly opened the panel.

Beyond the basic attributes, Kenji looked at the awakening progress of the Sharingan.
“As expected, there is no increase.”
Looking at the Sharingan awakening progress which was still at (81/100) on the panel, Kenji murmured.
Just now he felt that the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu' was not powerful enough, and now he saw that it was indeed true.
If we follow the rules summarized before, the level of the "Heart-Reflecting Jutsu" upgraded to lv2 (110/500) should allow his Sharingan awakening degree to reach (82/100).
But the reality is that its progress is still there (81/100).
"As expected, the thing I was worried about finally happened?"
Kenji knew long ago that it was not so easy to awaken the Sharingan, and the effect of the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu' would inevitably become worse as the awakening progressed.
As expected, when the awakening degree of Sharingan reached (81/100), the proficiency of 10 points of 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu' was no longer enough to advance one point.
If it were any other Uchiha clan member, they would basically be stuck here.
After that, either wait for an opportunity and open the eyes in the traditional way like the Uchiha clan members who awakened the Sharingan in the past, or work hard to improve the proficiency of the "Heart-Reflecting Jutsu" and hone it slowly.
If the former succeeds, it will inevitably weaken the effect of the "Heart-Reflecting Jutsu", and there is basically no hope for the latter.
Because this is just the beginning.
Now ten points of proficiency in the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu' cannot bring any awakening of the Sharingan, and later twenty or thirty points may not be able to do so either.
This is a road with no end in sight.
Of course, Kenji is different.
With the proficiency panel, he can easily improve his proficiency in the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu'. No matter how long the road is, he can see the end.
Suppressing the urge to continue practicing the 'Heart-Reflecting Jutsu', Kenji looked at other parts of the panel.
Not to mention the Three Body Jutsu, 'Basic Taijutsu', and 'Shurikenjutsu', the speed of improvement has not changed much - in ten days, the proficiency has increased by more than a hundred points.
However, the chakra limit was more than ten points less than expected.
Originally, if the proficiency of 'Chakra Refining Jutsu' increased by 120 points, the chakra limit should have increased by 480 points.
1546+480=2026
But now, his chakra limit is only 2011 points, 15 points less than the theoretical value.
The reason for this is very simple, his "barrel" is about to reach its limit.
The 'Chakra Refining Jutsu' accelerated the process of exploring his potential, but it could not raise the upper limit of his qualifications.
Now, the upper limit of chakra increased by it is only a dozen points lower than the theoretical value. After a period of time, it will probably be dozens of points.
When his potential is fully tapped, the effect of the 'Chakra Refining Jutsu' will probably only be the restoration of chakra.
"I have to awaken the Sharingan as soon as possible. Only by awakening the Sharingan can I greatly improve my qualifications."
With a murmur, Kenji closed the panel and began a new round of practice.
