"..."
Oyashiro En stared at the headless corpse with a stunned expression.
It was at this time that the sound of explosion came from the horizon a thousand meters away, along the fire clouds in the sky, along the dim city.
The sound brought Oyashiro En back to his senses. He turned his head with difficulty and shock as if waking up from a dream, and looked into the distance, as if he could vaguely see the floating red shadow standing up a thousand meters away.
Red shadow seemed to be holding something taller than itself?
What was that thing?
Was it a ninja tool used by the sky ninjas?
But didn't the intelligence say that there was only the kunai gun?
How could such a rubbish ninja tool possibly hit the target from a thousand meters away?
If he was not mistaken, was there still wind-style chakra attached to the bullet just now?
The scene just now kept repeating in Oyashiro En's mind, the scene of Kaku's shiny bald head exploding in front of his eyes, and the constant doubts almost made his head explode.
But the only thing he could be sure of now was that even if he replaced Kaku who was standing there, he would have no way to block the projectile that was attached with condensed wind-style chakra.
With that terrifying shooting speed just now, unless he remained alert the entire time, he would die just like Kaku.
Maybe he had enough time to adjust his body a little, so that he wouldn't die as ugly as Kaku?
But this is the limit.
"hiss."
Oyashiro En shuddered, feeling his scalp still numb, and whispered: "When you encounter this demonic thing, you can only hide. After dodging the first shot, you can find a way to find cover or interfere with the vision to close the distance"
Oyashiro En, who is still working in the black industry, subconsciously analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of this ninja tool.
Generally speaking, ninjutsu with an attack range exceeding ten meters can be classified as long-range ninjutsu.
Within five meters, it is classified as short-range ninjutsu, and between five and ten meters is classified as medium-range ninjutsu.
Ninjas will judge the characteristics of themselves and their enemies based on these three distance ninjutsu and develop appropriate combat tactics.
Generally speaking, ninjas who are good at long-range ninjutsu have more advantages than medium-range and short-range ninjas in combat.
Even ninjas follow the principle that an inch longer is an inch stronger.
Ninja tools like this have a range of over a thousand meters and can accurately snipe the enemy from a distance. Even if the enemy detects your location, you can immediately move to another position. Because the distance between you and the enemy is too far, it is impossible for the enemy to immediately lock on to the source of the attack, unless it is a ninja like Oyashiro En who is good at perception.
In other words, this is simply a weapon beyond common sense. Anyone who is not prepared for it will either die or be injured when encountering it for the first time. He will definitely be caught off guard.
"This thing is a bit scary..."
Just as Oyashiro En was thinking, the surrounding barrier was lifted and Nagato walked over from a distance.
"It's a pity that the head is gone. Let's hang the body outside the city."
He lowered his head to sense the headless corpse, and said calmly: "Clean up the scene, take away all those idiots who managed to survive, and take them back to interrogate the secret method of 'Gift Of The Hermit Group'."
The Gift Of The Hermit Group in the Fire Temple of the Land of Fire was something his brother had mentioned to him before, and he still remembered his brother was interested at that time.
If he could find out the principle behind the secret technique of "Gift Of The Hermit Group", his brother would definitely be surprised when he comes back.
Thinking of that scene, Nagato's originally expressionless face was filled with a smile of expectation that came from the bottom of his heart.
Behind him, members of the security department in white robes walked past him, their faces full of seriousness and indifference, and walked towards the monks who had expressions of disillusionment and disbelief.
“…Master.”
Looking at the headless corpse that was completely dead and the guys walking towards him, Haiboku felt as if he was still in a dream, and his expression gradually became ugly.
He didn't know whether the employer had cheated them or the employer himself had been cheated.
But now the situation is very clear. This place, which seemed to pose almost no threat in intelligence, is actually a huge pit where anyone who jumps in will die. Anyone who steps in here will fall into an abyss from which there is no return.
"Brother, now is not the time to give up. We will scatter and flee later..." the monk next to Haiboku whispered, "Don't forget, Master has left us a way out in advance."
Hearing this, Haiboku was stunned for a moment, and a glimmer of hope and determination appeared in his eyes.
That's right, the barrier has been lifted. The terrifying attack just now should have been caused by only one person. If they look for cover and flee separately, they may not be able to kill them all.
The most important thing is that they still have a way out.
"Okay, then let's..." That's what Haiboku really wanted to say.
But, the next moment, a loud explosion interrupted him.
Bang!
The monk's head next to Haiboku instantly exploded into a ball of blood mist, and turned into a headless corpse that fell backwards on the ground.
Red and white flesh and blood splattered on Haiboku's stunned face. He instantly felt scared and took out a handheld device and raised it high above his head, growling in fear: "Wait a minute!"
"We have buried explosive tags in several places. Let us go, or I will blow this place up immediately!"
This was originally arranged in advance by Kaku, in preparation for creating unrest to cover evacuation when their tracks were exposed.
However, he didn't expect that before Kaku could use it, his head was blown up by a demonic thing coming from a thousand meters away.
"Explosive Tag?"
Hearing Haiboku's low roar, Oyashiro En, who had originally lowered his head in thought, suddenly changed his expression. He suddenly looked up at the device in Haiboku's hand and instantly recognized that it was something made by Kagero Village.
These bald asses actually learned to use explosive tags like ninjas?
However, after hearing Haiboku's threats, the smile on Nagato's face gradually faded. He looked at Haiboku, who was trembling in the distance, expressionlessly, and slowly said, "We will never negotiate with invaders, let alone compromise with them."
As soon as the words came out, the sky ninjas from the security department stopped and raised their kunai guns to point at the monks.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The extremely sharp kunai shot towards the monks from the black muzzle.
The monk, who had originally thought that there was hope and breathed a sigh of relief, had never expected that the red-haired kid would be so reckless, he had no time to react before his body was pierced by the kunai.
The kunai's penetrating power when fired at close range was so strong that it didn't stay in the flesh and bones at all. It directly pierced through the monks in front of it and turned them into rotten meat sieves!
Haiboku, who was standing behind, clearly saw his brother's body being torn apart. He fell backwards into a pool of blood, splashing blood.
Immediately, those sky ninjas pointed the kunai guns in their hands at Haiboku. As long as he made any unusual movement, the black muzzles of the guns would shoot out kunai with an explosive sound.
"You, you guys..." Haiboku's white and beardless face turned pale for a moment, and he even doubted his life.
How tough are these guys to dare to do this? Aren’t they really afraid that he will light the detonator?
"Kneel down."
Before he could finish his words, Nagato spat out two words, which instantly poked a hole in the remaining courage in Haiboku's heart, making him kneel on the ground with a pale face.
His threats were not taken seriously by the other party at all, otherwise he would have been the first one to die. Killing his senior brothers was just to show his attitude.
——We don't care about your threats at all. If you have the guts, just use the explosive tag to blow this place up. We can also just shoot you idiots into pieces and go home.
Realizing this, several other monks also knelt down as if they had lost their parents, and subconsciously raised their hands to hold their heads.
"Take him for interrogation and follow the normal procedures." Nagato said indifferently.
As several monks were taken away by the sky ninja, Oyashiro En beside him couldn't help but say: "Aren't you afraid that he will use the detonator and run?"
Nagato sneered without even turning his head, "If those idiots had done nothing after entering the city, it might have taken us some time to find them. But when they thought they were secretly setting up explosive tags, we had already discovered them."
"As for those explosive tags, I threw them away a long time ago."
It is true that the “Monks” are a famous bounty hunting team, but unfortunately they ran into a demon tonight.
The Sky Ninjas of City of Dawn are no longer the small fry they once were, nor are they the ninjas in other ninja villages who are trained independently and separately. He has been training them in the model of regular troops from the beginning to the end.
The regular troops who had truly undergone rigorous training, had a tacit understanding of division of labor and cooperation, and obeyed orders, pointed all kinds of unheard-of weapons at their heads. Not to mention these wild guerrillas, even the most elite ninja team would be defeated if they encountered regular troops of this level.
"Wait, you took out the explosive tag?" Oyashiro En was a little stunned and blurted out, "When?"
"On the way here." Nagato said casually.
"..." For a moment, Oyashiro En didn't know what expression to show.
So when I was fighting to the death and even risking self-harm to hold Kaku back, you were going to dismantle those explosive tags?
"But it really is, simple."
Oyashiro En scratched his curly hair and said in a complicated tone: "I thought that even if you could get rid of those guys, you would have to fight a hard battle and suffer heavy losses. After all, they are all famous bounty ninjas and teams..."
As a result, unexpectedly, the crisis was resolved so quickly.
Nagato glanced at him and said indifferently: "Even if they are famous bounty ninjas and teams, they are just one person and a few people. We are a whole army."
"From the moment they stepped into this place, they were already in our hands. What we are doing now is just to minimize the losses and protect the safety of the people."
"Ah, this, this is really..."
Hearing this, Oyashiro En wiped the non-existent cold sweat from his body to hide the flickering light in his eyes.
This is really an interesting place.
"Don't I know too much?" Oyashiro En smiled. "It seems that if I don't hand over something, I won't be able to leave today, right?"
"Well, I will introduce myself first."
As he spoke, he extended his hand politely and bowed, saying, "Oyashiro En, the president of the Waki Real Estate in the Land of Waves. I am a weapons dealer and also a part-time intelligence dealer. I hope to reach a cooperation with you."
"...You still have the nerve to propose cooperation now. You are really thick-skinned like a businessman."
Nagato sneered, then said calmly: "Whether to cooperate or not is up to my brother, but I'll ask you a question."
"What kind of cooperation do you want to achieve?"
Hearing this, Oyashiro En narrowed his eyes and smiled: "Weapons, such as kunai guns, flying ninja tools, or the ninja tools you just used. Of course, I only need those models that you have eliminated."
After saying this, Nagato shifted his attention away from the monks and turned to Oyashiro En beside him, truly sizing up this man.
He has a muscular body, and if it weren't for those weird sunglasses, he would look even more handsome and elegant. He doesn't look like a ninja who slaughtered all his people, but more like a flamboyant businessman.
Looking at his frivolous appearance and behavior, even though I told myself in my heart that he was just acting, I still couldn't figure out the true face of this man. His expressions and movements were so well-controlled.
"……Weapons?"
Nagato smiled suddenly, but there was no trace of laughter in that smile. He said in a cold tone: "You should know that once those ninja tools and weapons are exposed, people will know your connection with the sky ninja, right?"
The Sky Ninjas, the Sky Army, have a deep hatred for Konoha.
Once Konoha discovers their whereabouts, they will definitely be targeted and attacked.
How could a businessman have the audacity to reach a weapon business cooperation with them?
"An ordinary businessman certainly doesn't deserve it."
Oyashiro En's smile remained unchanged as he spoke, "But you may not know that in the ninja world, there are always some special places that cannot be viewed with secular eyes. The black market is just a small part of them."
"The merchants there are all dishonest guys. They engage in smuggling, pornography, gambling, and reselling human organs. All the evil you can think of and the evil you can't think of are all there in that dark corner."
"Ninjas, nobles, merchants, and officials are intertwined with each other by chains of interests, and together they have established a lawless place in the ninja world."
At this point, he raised his head slightly and smiled: "And I am just that kind of 'businessman'. The dark side of the underground of Land of Waves is under my control."
"Believe me, I will sell your obsolete and castrated weapons at multiple times the price, so that you can make a lot of money and get a lot of wool from the five major countries."
"The money they pay will become a more advanced weapon in your hands, and will eventually be used against themselves."
