"Namu-Amidabutsu, I thought the owner of this place was a smart man."
Looking at Oyashiro En standing on the top of the blood dragon in front of him, Kaku clasped his hands together, raised his head slightly, chanted the Buddha's name, and said with regret: "I didn't expect that he would choose to cooperate with a notorious guy like you. It's really disappointing."
"After all, a sinner like you who brutally slaughtered your relatives will not be able to find peace even if you die now. Even I cannot free you."
Hearing the words spoken in a pitying tone by the old bald man, Oyashiro En, who always smiled and looked frivolous, paused, and the little smile left on his face gradually disappeared.
"You hypocritical bald ass."
Oyashiro En looked at Kaku and said indifferently: "What do you know?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the blood dragon under his feet split into several heads, opened its huge mouth and bit towards Kaku in the distance.
The other party's words made the murderous intent in his heart rise, and he was completely enraged.
Although the Chinoike Clan, who lived in seclusion and survived, had long since declined, Oyashiro En was able to kill all of his fellow clansmen by himself.
Although he is still young, in his early twenties, his strength and talent are undoubtedly beyond doubt.
The blood dragon created by the Ketsuryūgan is more powerful than the Water Dragon Bullet which is B level jutsu, and is even visibly many levels stronger.
Even the jonin from a great country would be torn to pieces and devoured by those blood dragons when faced with such power.
But, unfortunately, Kaku is not among them.
The origins of the belief in "Buddha" and monks can no longer be traced, but at least it is certain that their history is as long as that of the priestess in the Land of Demons.
Long before the five major ninja villages appeared and long before ninjas became mainstream, temples had already appeared in the ninja world.
However, as ninjas became the mainstream of the era, monks had no choice but to bow their heads and rely on the daimyo of the five major countries, just like the samurai.
The Fire Temple of the Land of Fire is a well-known ninja temple in the entire ninja world. Although its historical heritage and inheritance are not as complete as those of the priestess of the Land of Demons, as monks, they also have a very unique inheritance ability.
——Gift Of The Hermit Group.
"Namu-Amidabutsu, although I don't want to kill people in vain, but if you attack me..."
Kaku's cloudy eyes slightly opened, and he calmly looked at the several ferocious blood dragons rushing towards him. He made a "Ram" with one hand to guide them in front of him, and with the other hand, he pressed down his body with a palm.
Behind him, the Thousand-Armed Murder with its eyes closed emitted a soft golden light, and it seemed as if one could hear bursts of sacred sounds.
Kaku's body was also covered with a layer of golden light, and the expression on his face was highly consistent with the serene and solemn face of the Buddha statue behind him, which made people want to convert at first sight.
Even those monks who were lucky enough not to be killed in the explosion, after regaining consciousness, looked at the Buddha statue with fanatical eyes, with their hands clasped together and illuminated by the Buddha's light.
Even when facing the approaching blood dragon, he had no intention of dodging at all.
The next moment, a round of golden arms appeared around the golden Buddha statue.
"Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Armed Murder." Kaku said in a deep voice.
As soon as he finished speaking, the ferocious blood dragon suddenly bit towards him, and a dull wind whistled down from the top of his head!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Kaku was not devoured by the blood dragon, and even the monks behind him, including Haiboku, were not surprised at all.
They saw that the golden Buddha statue that originally seemed illusory, with countless arms around it, turned from virtual to real.
The golden fist shadow rushed towards the blood dragon and collided head-on with the ferocious heads of several blood dragons.
The two powerful forces collided with each other, creating waves that the fragile ground could not bear, and it began to shatter into pieces once again, leaving a huge vacuum zone between the two people.
But the number of blood dragons was obviously outnumbered by the hundreds of golden fist shadows. They were instantly shattered by several fist shadows and turned into splattered scarlet blood.
Bathed in scarlet blood, Oyashiro En's expression was somewhat deep.
“Is this the gift of the hermit group?”
Looking at the peaceful yet solemn Buddha statue, his Ketsuryūgan flickered slightly with a strange red glow, and he whispered to himself, "I can't see through it, but that little devil said that his brother is very interested in this kind of thing."
"In that case, let's put in a little effort."
————————
At the same time, in the center of the city, a thousand meters away from Oyashiro En and Kaku.
A black shadow like a black bird flew across the sky and slowly fell down, but the closer it got, the louder the whistling sound of the wind could be heard.
If someone looked up and looked carefully, they would see that it was not a black bird but a person wearing flying ninja tools.
The wings behind him, condensed with wind-style chakra, cut through the rain curtain sharply, and the misty water vapor was pressed into a shuttle shape on the upper and lower sides of the wings by the wind.
The wings and body seemed to be welded together. There was not even a tremor in the wind and rain, and it landed steadily on the marked rooftop of the building.
"huuu!"
The wings behind him were folded up. Tori subconsciously took a breath. Rain mist came towards him like smoke.
He frowned and waved his hands, trying to drive away the fog, but it was in vain because the entire rooftop was filled with water.
"How can I experiment with this?"
Tori was holding the metal box that was nearly as long as a person in his hand. He looked down at the water under his feet that almost reached his calves and was a little dumbfounded.
Although the weapon was developed and manufactured in a hurry, it is not only not resistant to falling but also not waterproof because of its high precision.
and……
"Why did those guys choose such a hell of a place for me?"
Tori looked towards the distance covered by a light rain curtain, and the dark clouds in the sky seemed to be pressing down on his head.
In this kind of weather, standing on the top of a building dozens of meters high, it seems that you can face the torrential rain at a closer distance before the whole world does. There is a sense of loneliness in resisting the dark sky and the torrential rain alone.
At this height, at this distance, and in this foggy environment, visibility is really poor.
Although a distance of more than a thousand meters is still within the range, the prerequisite for hitting the target is to see the target clearly.
"Isn't this embarrassing for me?"
Just as Tori was about to raise his head and call out to the blood pigeon, a childish voice came from behind:"Sensei, here, here!"
Hearing the sound, Tori subconsciously looked in the direction of the sound and turned to look towards the edge of the roof.
Only then did he discover that there was a triangular awning built with waterproof cloth, with several sandbags piled under the awning, which was just a few dozen centimeters higher than the accumulated water. It was the only dry place on the roof.
And under the awning was a red-haired girl wearing a raincoat, jumping and waving at him.
"Yiko?"
Tori was a little surprised at first, but then he understood something and returned to his previous lazy look. He said helplessly: "It turns out that Lord Shinnō asked me to come down just to bring you something."
“No.”
Uzumaki Yiko stood under the awning, with her hands behind her back, and said with a smile: "Because the height and angle of this place are the most suitable spot, but I'll have to trouble you to be my observer."
"..." After hearing this, Tori didn't say anything more, nor did he feel resentful about having his credit taken away. He just sighed and nodded.
Immediately, he carried the box to the awning, placed it flat on the sandbag next to Yiko, entered the combination lock, and clicked it open.
In the metal box, there lay a gun-shaped ninja tool with a cold and hard glow.
"A new type of ninja tool developed and produced based on the inspiration and drawings provided by Lord Kumokawa."
Tori's fingers gently stroked the gun, just like his fingertips were stroking his lover's skin. He looked at the red-haired girl beside him and sighed, "Try it. It's much better than the models you practiced with before."
"Is this the sniper rifle that Brother Kumokawa mentioned?"
Yiko stared at the gun-shaped ninja tool with shining eyes and said with a smile: "Those kunai guns were good, but I always felt that their range was too short. I talked to Brother Kumokawa about it, but I didn't expect you guys to actually make it!"
"What do you mean the range is too short? It's obviously your perception range that is too outrageous!"
Hearing this, Tori complained unhappily: "The effective range of the kunai gun is already over 40 meters. Generally speaking, there are very few ninjutsu that can reach this distance, and it can fire continuously."
You know, the current level of weapons in the ninja world is still at the level of flintlock rifles, the kind that can't fire continuously, has poor shooting accuracy, has a short shooting distance, and often misfires and explodes, making it an extremely unreliable thing.
With the emergence of ninjutsu and ninjas, even flintlock rifles were popular among nobles and merchants for a while, but then fell into disuse.
In comparison, the kunai guns they had previously mass-produced were simply a groundbreaking product.
However, in addition to the improvement of flying ninja tools, the focus of their research institute's current research and development projects is to reduce the size of the kunai gun to make it easier to carry and hide, and to be able to attach wind-style chakra to it to increase its power, speed and penetration.
"In other words, this is the only ninja tool now, Sensei?" Yiko ignored Tori's complaints and asked curiously.
"Yes."
Tori nodded helplessly: "After all, we, the sky ninjas and your clansmen are not good at this. We worked day and night to finally make a ninja tool that barely meets Lord Kumokawa's requirements. We are still lucky."
"If there are no talents good at this and no breakthroughs in technology and materials, it will be difficult to produce on a large scale."
"Besides, this kind of super long-range sniping ninja tool can only be used by you and Lord Nagato."
At this point, Tori paused, hesitated for a moment, looked at the girl in front of him who was only seven or eight years old, and whispered: "Are you sure it's okay? After all, this is your first time shooting a 'real target', right? If it doesn't work, let me..."
"I can do that."
Before Tori could finish his words, Yiko interrupted him.
Facing the gaze of Tori, Yiko just smiled and said: "Sensei, have you forgotten? My current hit rate is higher than yours."
"No, that's not what I meant. This is your first time killing..."
Tori shook his head subconsciously, but when he met those eyes, he swallowed the rest of the words.
"I heard that the bald guy has a connection with the Land of Fire Daimyo."
The girl looked in the direction of Kaku from a distance and said softly, "I have been preparing for this day for a long time."
"We can't kill the Daimyo and the Hokage yet, but killing that guy should be no problem."
Unlike most of her clansman, she did not choose the direction of "assistance".
Or rather, she had wanted to choose this option. After all, she was the only member of the clan who possessed the ability to "heal life".
This ability allows one to bite through one's own or others' skin to absorb life force, quickly recovering one's own or others' chakra and injuries, and the healing effect is enough to reconnect broken limbs...
Becoming a logistics worker would have been her best choice, and it would have allowed her to maximize her special abilities.
But when she made this decision, it was denied by Lord Kumokawa, who rescued them from the Land of Whirlpool.
"Your father wouldn't want you to use this ability to harm yourself," he said, "and I won't let his daughter end up being reduced to a bloody mess."
So, in order to respect her father's wishes, she chose another path.
Perhaps it was because of her obsession with revenge, or perhaps it was because she already possessed that talent. Just by accepting a drop of "blood" from Kumokawa, the "Mind's Eye of the Kagura" was successfully awakened.
At Kumokawa's suggestion, she chose to practice ninja tools.
As it turned out, this choice was correct.
Mind's Eye of the Kagura can see through the opponent and see far away. It is an exclusive ninjutsu of the Uzumaki clan. The maximum distance is within a radius of tens of kilometers, and it can use chakra to sense abnormal movements.
In addition, if a specific chakra is known, it is also possible to sense the detailed location and movement, the number of opponents and their characteristics, and even the speed of movement can be grasped in detail. This is one of the most powerful detection ninjutsu known in the ninja world.
With the awakening and development of this ability, she surpassed her Sensei, Tori, at an extremely fast pace, and increased the effective range of the kunai gun to more than 100 meters. She can accurately capture the enemy's position without contacting the enemy and hit the enemy from a long distance in a safe area.
No matter how complex the environment is, it cannot affect her performance, unless targeted techniques are used to interfere with her perception ability. Otherwise, in a complex environment, she can eliminate dozens of sky ninjas with just a kunai gun.
Now, after practicing so much and waiting for so long, she have finally waited for this day, the day to test the results.
"But……"
"Okay, Sensei, trust me!"
Once again interrupting Tori that was about to say something but was hesitant, Yiko crouched down and lay on the sandbag, set up the sniper ninja tool covered with a waterproof cloth, skillfully adjusted her posture and scope, exhaled lightly and whispered: "Trust me, I will blow his bald head off with one shot."
After saying that, her eyes slowly closed, and Mind's Eye of the Kagura opened, and she captured the figure a thousand meters away.
The seemingly gentle golden chakra, in her perception, was emitting a disgusting smell.
