🕑 Added 2024-08-29 12:55:01 +0000 UTCChapter 147: Eradicating the Remnants of the Sengoku Era- Uchiha Madara
"Tsk!"
Seeing that his attack was ignored and that the boss was hit by the opponent right in front of his nose, Yahiko frowned in dissatisfaction.
"Whosh!"
White mist overflowed from the corners of Yahiko's mouth, and he raised his hand to stop the Lower Moon Three Yoru who was about to chase after him.
"I am sorry."
He put his thumb on the blade of the sword, raised it up and emitted an inch of blade light, and said in a deep voice: "Let me fight that big guy again!"
BANG!!
As soon as he finished speaking, the ground beneath his feet cracked into spider-web-like cracks with a cracking sound, causing layers of ripples.
Looking at Yahiko rushing towards Hiruko, Kumokawa just smiled and didn't care too much. Instead, he sank his consciousness into his mind.
[Template has been advanced]
[Name: Ichimaru Gin [Spiritual Arts Academy] → Ichimaru Gin [Seated Officer]]
[World: Bleach]
[Quality: Green → Blue]
[Advanced: Can be advanced → Ichimaru Gin [Bankai] (Purple)]
[Ability: ① Zanjutsu Kendo: Kendo is Japanese martial art of sword-fighting and it is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami.
② Shunpo (Flash Step): A step that uses spiritual power to move, which can burst out at a speed close to teleportation in an instant.
③ Hado (1 to 31): An advanced spell used by Shinigami. It requires chanting of a spell before it is released. People with strong spiritual power can abandon the chanting, but the strength and power will be relatively weakened [the strength is proportional to one's own mental strength].
④ Bakudō (1 to 30): Different from Hado which is mainly for destruction, Bakudō is used for binding and confinement.
⑤ Jinzen(Sword Meditation): A meditation technique that allows one to bring consciousness into the sword and communicate with it. One can build one's own "Zanpakuto" based on one's own soul, and gain power by knowing and giving the Zanpakuto a name.
⑥ Shikai: Shinsō (God Spear): The initial release form of Zanpakutō, a direct attack type Zanpakutō, can instantly change the length and pierce the opponent freely, with extremely strong impact and attack speed, and the maximum extension limit is 100 times longer. (Locked)
⑦ Bankai: Kamishini no Yari (God-Killing Spear): The second stage release after Shikai, the blade will turn into dust at the moment of extension and contraction, and a strong poison that can dissolve cells will appear inside, which can turn part of it into dust and remain in the opponent's body. (Locked)
⑧ Kidō: Includes Hado for Destructive attacks, Bakudō for imprisonment and restraint, Kaido for healing injuries, as well as techniques such as Destruction Chant, Double Destruction Chant, and Kōjutsu Eishō (Spoken-After Incantation) [the strength is proportional to the strength of one's own spirit]. (Locked)
⑨ Hollowfication Technique: Injecting fallen souls, so-called "hollows", into other souls to transform them into "hollows", or obtain the ability of "Hollowfication", and gain stronger speed, strength and spiritual pressure (Locked). ]
[Advanced requirements: ① The fourth dimension and spiritual attribute reaches A (not achieved); ② 9200/10000 points(not achieved)]
[Holding points: 9200 (10200-1000)]
“…”
Kumokawa looked at the glowing template. Although he had received it for a while, he couldn't help but sigh in his heart: "The judgment of quality is really rigid."
Even the sword art of the "Shinigami" is no longer valueable to Kumokawa, who has now maxed out his sword art.
On the contrary, fighting techniques such as Bakudō and Shunpo, which are similar to Body Flicker Technique, are still of some reference value.
What really makes this panel of "blue" quality should be the "Hado" for attack and destruction, the "Bakudō" for defense and restraint, and the "Kaido" for healing.
A partially incomplete Kidō and a Zanpakutō [God Spear] that can only be released are more in line with green quality.
But in Kumokawa's opinion, the truly valuable abilities are [Jinzen] and [Hollowfication], which have no bonuses.
These two abilities are more like "knowledge" that can be taught than "abilities".
Just like what is said in the ability introduction.
[Jinzen] is a meditation technique that can bring consciousness into the sword and communicate with the sword, turning the original "Asauchi" into one's own "Zanpakuto". However, it is not known whether there are any requirements for the production techniques and quality materials of the Asauchi.
[Hollowfication] is to stuff evil spirits that have fallen after staying in the human world for a long time into the human soul, turning them into a special aggregate called [Hollow] composed of invisible spiritual power.
He may not be able to use these two abilities himself, but he can use [Jinzen] to cultivate some "Soul Reapers" and use [Hollowfication] to create an invisible army composed of "Hollows".
"In this way, in addition to the three choices of ‘Demon’, 'Breathing Method’, and 'Ninja Tool’, there are two more choices of 'Soul Reaper' and 'Hollow’."
"But, if I remember correctly, the soul is a very complicated thing..."
Kumokawa looked thoughtfully at the Sand Ninja who was fighting with the Demon Yoru, and Yahiko who was entangled with Hiruko in the distance.
From the perspective of his pupils which were now glowing with a faint blue light.
Among the corpses of the Sand Ninjas killed by the Lower Moon Three, Yoru, something similar to a "soul", almost transparent and invisible, gradually separated from the body and floated out like gas.
Those illusory and invisible souls all looked dull and lifeless, and after completely separating from their physical bodies, they gradually began to dissipate into the air.
If nothing unexpected happens, they will become ownerless "spirits", or "yin attribute power", "soul fragments" or something like that, and finally dissipate in the world and become consumables for the next new soul.
However, this dissipation process only lasted for a short moment before it was interrupted by something.
It seemed as if they were being pulled, and they gradually began to seep into the ground.
"Really."
Kumokawa watched this scene with great interest and already knew what was pulling them.
It should be the so-called "Pure Land", or in other words, it is the Sage of the Six Paths, Otsutsuki Hagoromo, who is currently hiding in the depths of the Pure Land?
Judging from the initial changes in these souls, the so-called "Pure Land" is probably an imported product, and is most likely one of the Six Paths Sage's back-up plans.
Maybe he wanted to collect the souls of the strong in advance to pave the way for the future child of destiny mentioned by the Great Toad Sage, or maybe he wanted to deal with the Otsutsuki clan that was bound to come in the future?
If so, compared to Otsutsuki Kaguya's idea of turning all humans into those useless White Zetsu, the Six Paths Sage's similar approach was indeed wise and gentle.
Although, the methods that this mother and son came up with were useless, that's all...
"So, if I want to capture those undead spirits in the future, would it be the same as snatching people from the Sage of Six Paths?"
Thinking of this, Kumokawa suddenly felt a little funny.
I don’t know if I have been noticed by him now and in the chess game of that filial son.
But no matter what, with the character and temperament of the Six Paths Sage, as long as there is no intention to destroy the entire ninja world, he will only observe in secret and will never interfere.
In Kumokawa's opinion, what the Six Paths Sage cared about from beginning to end was not war or peace, but the life and death of the entire ninja world.
Just like the former Land of Whirlpools, the stagnant Ninja World, indulged in a dull life, is destined to become the nourishment of the sacred tree and be destroyed by the inevitable arrival of the Otsutsuki clan.
Therefore, the Six Paths Sage is hoping that someone will come out to cause trouble and muddy the waters of the entire ninja world, so as to create more possibilities.
The chakras of his two unfortunate sons, Asura and Indra, who kept reincarnating, are a very vivid example.
If we talk about this matter, Kumokawa would never believe it without the intervention of the Six Paths Sage.
“Really.”
Kumokawa shook his head slightly and murmured to himself, "As a ghost from the old times, can't you just sleep quietly and wait for your final demise?"
Sure enough, no matter if they are trying hard not to die, or they are still doing things secretly after death, these old scoundrels who think they are the chess masters should all be swept into the trash can.
When this thought came to mind, Kumokawa's eyes suddenly froze and his consciousness sank into his mind.
