"So, I won't let you pass."
Looking at Jiraiya who stood up with a righteous look on his face and took the initiative, he shouted loudly in front of everyone, as if he was afraid that not enough people would hear these words, and even used the trick of amplifying the sound.
"You, you little bastard!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen pointed a shaking hand at him, his nose almost crooked by the traitor's anger, and cursed: "Where did you learn this nonsense from!"
What does "I know that the Jinchūriki you have chosen is not Tsunade" mean?
What does "forcibly interrupting the ceremony will only result in Tsunade's death" mean?
Can you just say this?
Who is Tsunade?
She was the most famous medical expert in Konoha and even in the entire ninja world, the only surviving grandchild of the first hokage, Hashirama Senju, and the Princess of Konoha who was affectionately called "Princess Tsunade" by the Daimyo of the Land of Fire.
At the same time, she is also the idol of Konoha's female ninjas and the apprentice of Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Jiraiya had said all these things. If Sarutobi Hiruzen continued to force his way in, wouldn't he be accused of harming Tsunade?
This overly delicate and calculating approach made Sarutobi Hiruzen doubt whether the guy in front of him was still his stupid apprentice.
Feeling the strange gaze coming from the Anbu ninja behind him, Sarutobi Hiruzen couldn't help but twitch his face due to the pain.
He can't bear this stigma!
"Stop making fun of me here!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen looked sullen and scolded this traitor, "It's obvious that Tsunade and Mito acted arbitrarily and carried out the Nine-Tails' transfer ceremony without any notice or precautions!"
"Mito can give the Nine-Tails to whoever she wants. What does she think of the Nine-Tails? Does she think it's her own property? It belongs to the entire Konoha!"
All I can say is that old ginger is still spicy.
Faced with Sarutobi Hiruzen's flawless rebuttal, Jiraiya, who was already performing exceptionally well, was suddenly choked.
But he still stiffened his neck and said in a stubborn voice: "Even so, why can't Tsunade be the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki? As a Jinchuriki, she can do more things!"
Upon hearing this, several veins popped out on Sarutobi Hiruzen's forehead.
Sure enough, he hasn't changed at all, he's still the same idiot as before!
The combat strength of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki is not important from beginning to end.
After all, in essence, the Jinchūriki is an uncontrollable double-edged sword, and can even be said to be a disposable deterrent weapon.
A Jinchūriki who merely borrows the chakra of a tailed beast cannot decide the outcome of a war. Instead, Jinchūriki may be easily targeted and attacked by the enemy when Jinchūriki is sent out.
Therefore, most of the time, the Jinchūriki do not need to leave the village. It is enough for him to stay in Konoha as a "deterrent".
Only when one is completely helpless and on the verge of death can the Jinchūriki enter the full tailed beast state, because no matter how much damage is caused, it does not matter, the most important thing is to drive out the enemies that have entered the village.
However, if Tsunade becomes the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, it would mean that she, who originally had a promising future, would have to stay in Konoha from now on, and the front line would lose an important fighting force.
BANG!!
Thinking of this, Sarutobi Hiruzen formed seals with his hands without hesitation, and in the sudden explosion of white smoke, a giant Fuma Shuriken appeared in his hands.
"Jiraiya! I'm saying this for the last time!"
He held it with one hand behind his back and looked coldly at Jiraiya in front of him: "It's still not too late to stop the ceremony now. Tsunade will only be slightly injured and her life will not be in danger. But if we waste more time..."
At this point, he clenched the Fuma Shuriken in his hand and shouted, "Get out of the way! Now!"
What he needs…
No, it should be said that what Konoha needs is a well-behaved and obedient Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.
Although he was not as extreme as Danzo, who always wanted to brainwash the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and turn him into a pure weapon without self.
However, at least we must hold the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki in our hands.
Therefore, the next Nine-Tails Jinchuriki after Mito's death had actually been prepared and selected long ago.
The young, malleable, and helpless Uzumaki Kushina is undoubtedly the best candidate to succeed Mito as Jinchūriki!
As long as a person of common origin who firmly believes in the Will of Fire is chosen to form a deep bond with Kushina, she can subtly develop a sense of belonging to Konoha and a sense of identity with the Will of Fire.
However, Tsunade, who is independent, has a strong character and a strong background, would never listen to the orders of him as the Hokage, so she is not suitable to be the next Nine-Tails Jinchuriki at all!
The ceremony had to be interrupted.
Even if it means Tsunade is seriously injured, it doesn't matter!
After Sarutobi Hiruzen's loud roar, the Anbu members behind him also took out their weapons, and the atmosphere at the scene instantly became depressing and solemn.
"……I am really sorry."
Jiraiya was silent for a long time, and finally shook his head, whispering in a tangled tone: "Call me willful or selfish, I, I can't watch you hurt Tsunade..."
He also didn't want to disobey or rebel against his sensei.
But whether it was a rational comparison of interests or out of his own feelings for Tsunade, he couldn't just stand aside and do nothing.
In his opinion, the choice of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was not that important at all.
At least it's not important enough to hurt Tsunade for this reason.
Now he simply could not understand why his sensei was determined to stop the ritual of transferring the tailed beasts, even at the cost of causing Tsunade to be seriously injured or even die.
This feeling of almost a fight between master and disciple made Jiraiya feel extremely painful.
But when he said that, a hint of fierceness flashed in Sarutobi Hiruzen's eyes. After a slight hesitation, he shouted loudly: "Jiraiya is a traitor. Capture Jiraiya and wait until the matter is over and Jiraiya, you will be punished!"
In an instant, he swung out the huge fuma shuriken in his hand with all his strength, and then only the afterimage could be seen as his hands quickly formed seals.
Ox → Dog → Dragon → Rat → Dog → Boar → Snake → Tiger
"Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"
As dense and sharp sounds of breaking through the air rang in everyone's ears, the thrown fuma shuriken became dozens of fuma shuriken in the air.
The walls and the ground in front of him were instantly torn into countless cracks, sweeping towards Jiraiya's direction like a storm!
Jiraiya, who was about to say something, suddenly changed his expression. He never expected that his sensei would act so decisively, and use such a ruthless ninjutsu.
Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique.
Sarutobi Hiruzen got inspiration from the "Shadow Clone Technique" of the Second Hokage and created this A-level ninjutsu that transforms a ninja tool into multiple clones to form a net-like attack!
This is not the kind of shadow clone that will break at the touch.
Each shuriken shadow clone is a real entity, with a hardness comparable to that of real ninja tools, forming a perfect encirclement formation that is difficult to avoid!
