Mito has never considered herself a timid person.
But when she stood in front of the ward window and looked out, she felt like she was standing on the top edge of a cliff.
The malicious villagers turned into layers of twisted black shadows, entrenched below like moist mucus.
As they continue to surge and flow, they are stretched into thin black threads, and then stacked together to form a dense network, swallowing up the sunlight that shines under the cliff, turning it into a bottomless dark abyss.
"vomit!"
Mito couldn't bear this fear for even a second. She covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom and started vomiting.
But she didn't eat for several days while she was in a coma, and she only received glucose infusion to ensure basic nutrition. She could only spit out some residue, and then there was clear gastric juice mixed with yellow bile.
"Ahem!"
Mito's hand on the sink subconsciously turned on the faucet, but as she watched the vomit residue being sucked into the sink by the swirling vortex, his body, which was already much calmer, began to tremble slightly again.
She seemed to see a small fragment of it stretching out her arms to call for help, but it was still swallowed by the dark hole. This feeling was like rushing herself, or a certain part of herself, into the unknown darkness.
"Grandma Mito." Looking at Mito who seemed to be vomiting out her stomach, Tsunade followed her and was as helpless as a child. She could only reach out to support Mito to pat her back.
But the next moment, Mito, who had her eyes closed, waved her hand and pushed her away.
"Phew!" Her chest heaved violently, and she shook her head tiredly.
"Are you really okay..." Just when Tsunade was about to ask more anxiously, a gentle and warm voice came.
"Don't worry too much, Miss Tsunade. Mito-sama just consumed too much chakra, and there is still a shadow of fear in her mind. She will recover and adapt after a period of time."
Tsunade subconsciously turned her head to follow the sound and looked at the bed behind her, only to realize that there were two people in the ward that she had ignored.
One was a face she recognized, the girl from the Uzumaki clan brought from the Land of Whirlpool. She was standing next to the hospital bed with a face full of confusion and worry.
The other one was an unfamiliar face to her, a young woman wearing round glasses and a white coat, with a gentle smile on her face.
And it was that woman who just spoke.
"Who are you?" Tsunade frowned, stared at her and said coldly.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Yakushi Nonō. I am a psychiatrist."
Facing Tsunade's slightly scrutinizing and hostile gaze, Yakushi Nonō explained softly with a smile on her face: "Please don't worry, I am only responsible for healing Mito-sama, I don't care about other things."
Hearing this, Tsunade couldn't help but froze for a moment, and Mito next to her also said in a slightly weak voice: "Tsunade, don't be rude, It's all thanks to Miss Yakushi that I woke up and Kushina was able to come here."
"Mito-sama is ridiculous. This is my responsibility." Yakushi Nonō said modestly, "Although the Third Hokage-sama did explain the matter, as a qualified psychiatrist, protecting the mood of my patients is the first priority."
Listening to the conversation between the two, the hostility in Tsunade's eyes dissipated, replaced by worry about Mito.
"Time is limited, There is no need to talk nonsense."
Mito took a deep breath, put her palm on Tsunade's arm, pulled her back to sit on the hospital bed, looked at her with no longer bright cloudy eyes, and said, "I asked you to come because I have something to give you. ”
As she said that, she took out a normal-sized scroll from her arms, and then took the large scroll that Kushina was holding in her arms.
"I originally wanted to give it to you after a while."
She rubbed the rough surface with her withered palms, and a complex look flashed in her lowered eyes as she said, "This big scroll was left behind by your grandfather after his death. It is a scroll that can sign a contract with the ruler of Shikkotsu Forest, 'Katsuyu'."
"In the other scroll are most of the sealing techniques of my Uzumaki clan, as well as the 'Yin Seal' that was perfected based on the idea you proposed."
After saying that, she looked up at Tsunade, who was in a daze, and said with a smile: "Sign this contract scroll, and you will be able to enter the Shikkotsu Forest, one of the three holy places, and establish a summoning relationship with the 'Katsuyu'. She may be able to Heal your arm injury."
"Yin Seal" is an idea first proposed by Tsunade based on her own medical ninjutsu skills. Mito combined it with the Uzumaki clan's sealing technique to perfect the S-level medical sealing technique.
Normally, not all humans have chakra in their bodies.
The one hundred and thirty trillion cells in the body produce mental energy and physical energy, and chakra is a mixture of these two elements in proportion to extract chakra, change its nature and form, and use ninjutsu.
In other words, under normal circumstances, if a ninja wants to use ninjutsu, he needs to temporarily refine chakra, because most ninjas' bodies cannot store chakra.
The reason why there are still weapons such as kunai and shuriken in the battle between ninja and ninja, and it has not become a battle between one person and one person, is because of the limitations of the need to refine chakra.
Although the upper limit of the amount of chakra that can be stored in each person's body is different, this is only the "upper limit". Unless large-scale battles are prepared in advance, most ninjas will not be able to touch the upper limit at ordinary times.
Not everyone would give his younger brother time to hold back an S-level ultimate move like Uchiha Itachi did.
Normally, before you have refined enough chakra to release S-level ninjutsu, the enemy will have already used the body flicker technique to rush up and stab you to death with a kunai.
Without the ability to store chakra, there are only two possibilities for the two parties to meet.
The first situation is that both parties have been refining chakra before they met, and have already prepared the amount of chakra required to release the ninjutsu.
When two parties meet, the enemy's chakra accumulated in his body can support him to use ten ninjutsu of the same power, while the chakra accumulated in your body can only support you to use seven ninjutsu of the same power. Then you are in a disadvantageous situation.
At this time, the outcome will be determined by the chakra upper limits of both parties.
The second situation is that both parties did not start refining chakra in advance before the encounter in order to save physical strength and energy for the surprise attack.
When the two parties meet, the enemy spits out a fire release: fireball technique in an instant, and you spit out a fire release: fire dragon technique in an instant, then you are at an advantage.
Therefore, when the gods fought in the later stage, Naruto and Sasuke, who had obtained the power of Yang Release and Yin Release, had a decisive battle in the Valley of the End.
The former sucked up the natural energy in the earth, and the latter also controlled eight half-tailed beasts to extract their chakra.
To a certain extent, the Yin Seal is similar to it. Like the tailed beast, it is a source of chakra loaded outside the body.
It is to accumulate chakra on the forehead during normal times, and at the same time form a diamond-shaped Yin Seal on the forehead.
When needed, the seal can be unlocked through the Seal-Releasing Ninjutsu "Yin Seal: Release" and a large amount of chakra can be released to achieve instant healing, strengthen attacks, and increase speed.
The technique of "Yin Seal" has very high requirements for chakra control ability. Only people like Uzumaki Mito and Tsunade who have mastered "Chakra Enhanced Strength" can learn it.
If it can be mastered and used skillfully, the low output and fine adjustment of chakra can be used to achieve the effect of maintaining youthful appearance, improving body functions, and maintaining body functions at their peak.
Mito had never given these two things to Tsunade before, partly because the secret technique of "Yin Seal" had not yet been perfected, and partly because she did not want her to go to the battlefield out of selfish motives.
But now...
"Tsunade." Mito gently touched Tsunade's head and whispered, "Go and become Hokage."
