Chapter 133 I can still stand on a higher place
"Is this what Musashi sees as Amegakure Village’s leader ?"
Hanzo stood in front of the window of Musashi's tea room, standing on the tallest tower in the entire Amegakure Village.
Looking around, all he could see were forest-like tower spiers, and he stood alone in the forest, like an iron-gray giant overlooking the dwarves.
He slowly stretched out a palm, as if holding up the dim sky.
Standing at such a high place, the sky that I once dreamed of is literally within reach.
This sense of conquest, having everything in the palm of his hand, made Hanzo feel extremely intoxicated and satisfied.
"Hanzo-sama."
A voice from behind interrupted his thoughts.
Hanzo frowned slightly, glanced back, and said calmly: "Has the manpower been figured out and mobilized?"
"Yes." The Rain ninja behind him lowered his head and said respectfully, "All available manpower has been recorded. There used to be more than 2,100 ninjas in Amegakure Village, and now there are more than 1,600 ninjas... "
At this point, Rain ninja suddenly paused, not knowing whether he should continue speaking.
"Huh?" Hanzo's voice was slightly cold.
The rain ninja shuddered subconsciously, lowered his head and quickly replied: "Those five hundred ninjas were all close followers of the former Musashi faction. They have left with that guy Yoshitaka and their whereabouts are unknown."
"...whereabouts are unknown?"
Hanzo murmured and repeated, turning his head to look at the wall beside him.
The rain ninja behind him also looked over, and there was a clear sword mark that had not dissipated.
Even if you just see this sword mark, you can feel a sense of sharpness.
It's like the breath left by a wild beast unintentionally. It serves as a warning to anyone trying to approach it.
After taking a glance, Rain Ninja felt a sting in his eyes. He immediately looked back and said with a low eyebrow, "Lord Hanzo, do you want to go and chase those traitors back..."
After the words fell, there was a long silence and silence.
"...Forget it."
It was only when the sweat on Rain Ninja's face was about to slip off the gas mask that Hanzo, who didn't know what he was thinking, shook his head and said calmly: "A group of cowardly people who are escaping from the war, even if they are brought back, there is no point."
Although they said they left with Yoshitaka, it didn't take much to think about who took those people away.
It was indeed heartbreaking to have a quarter of his combat power taken away at once, but he was mentally prepared when he decided to leave Musashi to Kumokawa.
The other party helped him get rid of Musashi's obstacle, and he also asked the other party to take away part of the rain ninja.
From a certain perspective, this can be regarded as an exchange of interests, and it is more beneficial to him.
Not only can he naturally take the position of leader of Amegakure Village, without having to worry about being stained with the stinking stigma of killing his Lord and seizing power, but he can also eliminate the remaining members of Musashi's gang, making Amegakure Village completely his own.
Hanzo even felt that the kid was too generous. He was originally prepared to let the other party take away some of the supplies, but in the end he only took away some useless trash that was afraid of fighting.
"I don't understand what those guys are worth."
As if he had figured something out, Hanzo's frown gradually eased: "Sure enough, that brat is still too young. Those cowardly guys should be discarded as soon as possible. Keeping them around will only slow down the pace of others."
Those people clearly have a lot of experience and skills, but they are afraid of death and dare not face the ninjas of the great powers. They have no use at all except disturbing the morale of the army.
"However, although he is still a little naive and immature, the Land of Rain is now in a precarious situation, and the strength shown by the other party can always be put to some use."
Thinking of this, Hanzo showed a faint smile on his face and seemed to be in a good mood.
Let's leave the northern border with the Land of Earth to that brat, so I can focus on the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind.
Thinking about it this way, the other party really helped him a lot.
Except, that damn cat.
The black cat actually disappeared at the last moment, leaving him alone to face a group of sand ninjas fighting for their lives.
After thinking about it, his face became a little dark.
"Right." Hanzo collected his thoughts and asked with twinkling eyes, "Is there a letter from Konoha?"
"Yes, Lord Hanzo." The Rain ninja nodded, took a step forward and handed over the scroll, smiling, "That Orochimaru hopes to sign a joint document with us to jointly fight against Sunagakure's invasion."
Hanzo took the scroll, glanced across it, and couldn't help but sneer: "It's now like this, and that snake-playing brat is still playing such childish tricks with me. "
"If Kumokawa hadn't told me about the destruction of the Land of Whirlpool, I still have some illusions about the credibility of the big country, and I might have agreed to sign a joint document to cooperate with it, but now..."
The so-called Land of Fire Daimyo and Konoha Hokage are simply liars without any credibility.
Those guys were able to turn a blind eye to the Land of Whirlpool, which was an ally and had been friendly for generations, and turned a blind eye to the friendship agreement signed by their first Hokage and the Land of Whirlpool.
Not to mention the joint document they wanted to sign with Amegakure Village.
This non-binding joint document originally relied entirely on its own credibility and morality.
The Land of Fire and Konoha have lost all credibility. The joint doctrine and covenant they talked about has long been turned into a piece of waste paper and has no credibility.
Only when their own interests are involved, they will have the so-called spirit of contract. When someone touches their own interests, they will immediately change their appearance.
"A big country? How ridiculous!"
Hanzo threw the communication scroll directly into the trash can, as if looking at it again would stain his eyes. He looked up at the rain ninja and said coldly: "Tell Orochimaru that if you want to cooperate, show sincerity."
"The target of the Land of Wind's attack is them. Now we can sit on the mountain and watch the fight between tigers and tigers, and wait until both of them are harmed before taking action."
"If they want me to take action based on empty words, let them stop this idea as soon as possible. Now it's Orochimaru who needs my help, and it's Konoha who needs Amegakure's help!"
"Tell Konoha that Amegakure's supplies are insufficient and they need to provide supplies to us."
"I understand, Lord Hanzo!" The rain ninja looked at Hanzo's broad and straight back, with a look of excitement on his face, "I will follow your words now and reply to those guys in Konoha!”
The Land of Rain has no dignity at all in living between the great powers. It has been oppressed by the great powers for a long time and has suffered from the great powers for a long time.
The reason why Hanzo was chosen is because they are like people falling into the water, grabbing the last straw around them and making a last-ditch struggle.
And now, they can finally feel proud!
However, after Rain Ninja left, Hanzo narrowed his eyes.
Although his tone just now was very arrogant, he understood the truth behind the cold words.
Because of his cooperation and attack with the cat, Sunagakure's endless offensive has now stopped, but it is fully expected that Sunagakure's next attack will be more ferocious than the previous ones.
If Sunagakure is really allowed to break into the Land of Fire, it will not be easy for them in the Land of Rain.
Hanzo was playing a trick, betting that Orochimaru would be more impatient than him.
After all, Orochimaru is now in an isolated and helpless situation.
Overlooking Amegakure Village, which he had completely controlled, the fire in his heart became stronger under the shadow, and a desire to conquer grew in his heart, and the already hot ambition became even hotter.
He can stand higher and see higher scenery.
