Under the gaze of everyone, Yahiko disappeared.
Although the lights above illuminated everything in the room clearly, few children could see clearly how Yahiko moved, and only a handful of children had time to see a dark shadow with their peripheral vision.
Until Yahiko's figure appeared in front of Yoshitaka, the bamboo sword in his hand burst into flames.
As if there was still a trace of reason in his mind, the bamboo sword, which was as thick as a wrist but had no edge, fell down and struck Yoshitaka in front of him with a scream.
Bang! !
There was a dull sound in the gym, and dozens of children exclaimed.
Seeing that Yoshitaka was like a rag doll filled with sand, he was directly knocked out and hit the wall of the classroom before stopping.
The Chinese character "Dao" hanging on the wall was knocked off, covering Yoshitaka who slipped from the wall to the ground. The only thing exposed from the Chinese character was his arm and the broken bamboo he was holding tightly in his hand. sword.
Three meters away, Yahiko maintained the movement of drawing the sword, and the bamboo sword in his hand was only half in length. The fracture was densely covered with burrs, and the black marks of burnt marks and white smoke were clearly visible.
There is no doubt that Yoshitaka got hit.
Although he was able to block the bamboo sword directly in front of him at the last moment, if Yahiko was holding a real sword, the blow just now would only cut off his torso and arms.
"Whosh!"
Yahiko put away the bamboo sword in his hand and slowly exhaled a stream of white mist. A trace of exhaustion flashed in his eyes: "I win."
There was silence in the classroom. Everyone was still immersed in the blow just now, and no one had realized what happened.
What was that burning crimson blade just now?
Some kind of fire release ninjutsu?
Impossible, Yahiko did not form a seal.
Bang bang!
There was applause in the dead-silent classroom.
After everyone came back to their senses, they looked subconsciously and saw Kumokawa smiling gently and applauding, and applause started one after another.
The children looked at Yahiko holding a sword with gleaming eyes, as if they had known him for the first time even though they had known him for a long time.
Nonō quietly walked to the banner on the ground, took it, checked Yoshitaka's breathing and condition, and finally relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief.
She lowered her head and glanced at the clothes on Yoshitaka's body. The clothes on her chest had exploded, leaving a strip of slight burn wounds.
Yahiko's sword struck him in the chest, and the huge external force caused him to suddenly suffer from heart palpitations, which caused cardiogenic syncope.
"Huh?" Nonō frowned slightly, a trace of confusion flashed in her eyes.
Logically speaking, with the physical quality of this Yoshitaka-sensei, even if he fainted due to such an injury, he should wake up soon.
Could it be that he was interrupted by Yahiko and passed out without even taking a breath?
Thinking of this, Nonō suddenly smiled inexplicably.
But it's not a big problem. He was probably just knocked unconscious.
"A few people will come and send Yoshitaka-sensei to the infirmary."
Kumokawa also came over at this time. After seeing Nonō nodded to him, he picked out a few strong children and said with a smile: "Although it is just a temporary faint, we still need to check it carefully, so nothing goes wrong."
After saying that, he glanced down slightly and met a pair of depressed eyes.
"..." As if he realized that he had been discovered, Yoshitaka, who was lying on the corpse, closed his eyes instantly.
There is no way, I really can't afford to lose this person.
"Sun Breathing?" Yoshitaka thought with a complicated mood, "Is this the real skill?"
It goes without saying that Kumokawa must have taught him the moves that kid used just now.
It seems that it is a technique used to strengthen the cardiopulmonary function, thereby absorbing a large amount of oxygen in a short period of time, greatly increasing the physical ability in an instant, and thus temporarily possessing super physical fitness.
In other words, when killing Musashi, Kumokawa did not try his best at all.
The opponent simply relied on the pure concept of swordsmanship, and defeated the former "Sword Saint".
Just like what Kumokawa said to him in Amegakure Village.
'For a swordsman, it doesn't matter what he did, whose head he cut off, how many legs and feet he cut off, these things have no meaning. What gives them meaning is the person wielding the sword. '
'If you wield the sword for justice, and you chop off the head, it is for justice; if you swing the sword for hatred, and you chop off the head, it is for revenge. The more it is for justice, the more determined the sword is to chop off the head; the more it is for revenge, the more determined the sword is to chop off the head. The more fierce it becomes. '
'The old man was once called the strongest swordsman because he drew his sword for victory. In order to maintain the title of number one, he could not retreat, he could only kill people, faster and faster, moving forward in an unstoppable way, using all possible means. . '
'The same goes for me. In order to kill my enemies, I have tried every means to set up traps, using the corpses of their companions as bait, then cut through the rain curtain with one sword, chopped off their heads heartily, and fed their corpses to wild dogs. Let their masters rage with incompetence. '
'It is a very bad thing to wield a sword without purpose or belief. Only with belief can you be purer and make further progress. '
'And Musashi is old. Maybe he can still wield the sword, but he has lost the desire and belief to wield the sword. A sword without desire and belief is like an eagle without wings. That kind of thing can't do anything. . '
'You should have noticed, right? By following such a guy, your faith will rot and your sword will become dull. '
'So, follow me, the world may change, but I will remain the same. '
Kumokawa's gentle voice full of pride seemed to still be echoing in Yoshitaka's ears at this moment.
Beliefs and desires?
Consistently?
Yoshitaka seemed to have thought of something, and smiled inwardly.
To be honest, I don't see what Kumokawa has any desire for.
Female lust? Kumokawa did not raise slaves and concubines at home like the daimyo did.
Wealth? Building such a city would probably consume all the inheritance left by his father.
Status? The other party did not try to seize power after killing Musashi, but took away some of the rain ninja who were willing to follow.
But it was this performance that made Yoshitaka more and more certain that what Kumokawa wanted was far beyond imagination.
If he doesn't seek small profits, he must have a big plan!
"Then let's give it a try." Yoshitaka was inexplicably excited, "How far can you go like this?"
But the next moment, his thoughts were interrupted, and he couldn't help but let out a muffled sound.
Four students, including Asuto, trotted up to him, not caring about the identity of Yoshitaka's injured person. They each raised one arm and another, muttering to themselves about the "hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" They carried Yoshitaka and ran out of the classroom in a hurry.
After a few people left, Konan hung the calligraphy and painting with the elegant word "Dao" on the wall again, and stood quietly behind Kumokawa.
"Sorry, old...sensei, I was too harsh." Yahiko said apologetically.
"It doesn't matter." Kumokawa picked up the broken bamboo sword from the ground, ran his fingers over the stubble on it and said with a smile, "Yoshitaka sensei is tolerant and will not care about this."
In comparison, what is more concerning is another thing.
The raw material of this batch of bamboo swords is bamboo that is more than three years old. It takes dozens of days to bake, select, weigh, and straighten the bamboo pieces, and finally wrap them with high-quality nylon rope and cowhide.
Normally, the reason why the bamboo sword is used as a sparring weapon is because it is extremely tough and will cause less damage when struck. It will bend when it is subjected to strong external force, but never break easily.
However, Yahiko interrupted it abruptly.
"Tell everyone." Kumokawa turned around and looked at Yahiko with a smile, and asked the children's most curious question, "How did you do it?"
"Ah, it's... the breathing method you taught me." Yahiko scratched his head and explained, "To Make me stronger and faster"
Breathing method?
"Yes, this is the breathing method." Kumokawa, who was standing in front of the people, turned around, looked at the children with brilliant eyes, and said with a smile, "Do you guys want to learn?"
"You don't have to learn the most difficult sun breathing. You can also choose a breathing style that suits you. For example, the five basic breathing styles of water, thunder, fire, rock, and wind. You can also try to develop a style that suits you. How about it?”
The Sun Breathing is the ancestor and foundation of all breathing methods. It was created and used by the founder of the breathing method, "Tsugikuni Yoriichi", and he shared it with his brother "Tsugikuni Michikatsu", who was the founder of the breathing method before he turned into a Demon [Kokushibo].
That's why Kumokawa knew the breathing techniques and was able to teach Yahiko the breathing techniques and sword techniques.
However, Yahiko was able to learn Sun Breathing, which surprised Kumokawa.
In the world of [Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba], the Sun Breathing was once taught to members of the Demon Slayer Corps by Tsugikuni Yoriichi, but they were unable to withstand the power of the sun and could not learn the Sun Breathing.
Obviously there are requirements and conditions that need to be met to learn Sun Breathing.
So Tsugikuni Yoriichi later guided them to develop other breathing techniques based on the Sun Breathing.
It includes five basic breathing methods and derived breathing methods.
Kumokawa didn't know if children other than Yahiko could meet the conditions for learning Sun Breathing, but he could at least try to develop a new style.
After hearing Kumokawa's words, the eyes of dozens of children present instantly lit up.
"Is it really okay?"
"Wow! That sounds so cool!"
"Sensei, I want to learn this too!"
"Can I become stronger if I learn this?"
Kumokawa was not so pedantic and extreme that he did not allow them to practice ninjutsu, so he had already tested the chakra attributes of these children with chakra paper.
The so-called "attributes" are actually "changes in the nature of Chakra".
In other words, chakra itself actually has "no attributes", and it needs to rely on acquired practice to add attributes, that is, to make chakra have "properties".
There are seven properties of chakra, namely fire, water, wind, thunder, earth, yin and yang, among which fire, water, wind, thunder and earth are the five major properties.
Ninjas must rely on their personal qualifications to practice chakra. Generally speaking, everyone will have non-attribute chakra, and ninjas at the level of jounin in great countries will have more than two types chakra attribute.
However, in addition to the acquired practice of changing nature, some people are born with chakra attributes, which is completely determined by their own talent.
The more chakra attributes you are born with, the higher your starting point for practicing ninjutsu will naturally be.
Therefore, before every ninja starts practicing, he must first know which "property" of chakra is suitable for him. Generally, he injects chakra into chakra sensing paper and checks the changes in the paper to confirm.
Being born with fire attribute chakra will make the paper burn, having wind attribute will make the paper split in two, having thunder attribute will make the paper wrinkle, having earth attribute will make the paper crumble, and having water attribute will make the paper wet.
For example, a genius like Orochimaru, who was born with chakras of the five attributes of fire, wind, thunder, earth, and water, could learn the ninjutsu of whatever attributes he wanted without having to practice to change his attributes.
However, on the contrary, some people have chakra, but they have no specific attributes.
If you want to learn to use any attribute ninjutsu, you must practice the corresponding chakra property changes.
In Kumokawa's impression, Rock Lee in "Konoha 11" will be like this in the future.
Although je can use chakra and stand on water with chakra, he don't have chakra attributes, so he can't know ninjutsu and genjutsu, so he chose to practice taijutsu.
Most of the children picked up by Kumokawa also have this situation.
For example, Yahiko only has a single water attribute chakra.
And this is already very good. Most of them don't even have innate attributes. It takes time and effort to practice before they can use those ninjutsu. Otherwise, they can only use non-attribute ninjutsu, similar to the Rasengan.
For these children who have despaired of their own talents, the breathing methods of water, thunder, fire, rock, and wind can be said to be like life-saving straws.
"In this way, in fact, these children and I are in the same boat?"
After testing, it was discovered that Kumokawa, who was born with no attributes and no talent for ninjutsu training, narrowed his eyes.
The reason why he have never tried to learn ninjutsu is not only because he don't trust things like chakra, but also because it takes too long to change the nature of chakra.
In response to this, Kumokawa has currently summarized three possible directions for these children who have no talent for Ninjutsu to become stronger.
One is to become a "demon" like Nagato and then try to learn and awaken the "blood demon art", and the other is to learn the breathing method like Yahiko and then combine it with senjutsu to increase the upper limit.
The last one is to develop and use ninja tools that do not require property changes like those sky ninjas. In the future, we can also develop ninja tools that can convert non-attribute chakra into five-release ninjutsu.
Of course, there are also two more special properties of yin and yang, which are the so-called physical abilities and spiritual energy. Healing plam uses yang attribute chakra, while genjutsu uses yin attribute chakra.
Both of these techniques are very crude ways of using Yin and Yang attribute chakra. A slightly more advanced method is similar to the expansion and shadow secret techniques of the Akimichi clan and Nara clan.
Although it is difficult to develop, it may not be impossible.
At least Nonō developed an illusion that is suitable for her by combining the psychological theories that Kumokawa gave her.
Unlike the Uchiha clan's crude, effective but short-lived visual illusions, Nonō uses various methods to subtly change her thinking bit by bit.
It is somewhat similar to the effect of "Kotoamatsukami", but the effect is not as rapid and obvious.
"In that case." Kumokawa pondered, thinking to himself, "Maybe I can try to teach her the ability of [Ichimaru Gin]'s template."
