"Let me have a 'spar' with that brat?"
Looking at Kumokawa who was smiling and nodding in front of him, Yoshitaka frowned reluctantly: "Is it really okay?"
He is already in his thirties this year and has been immersed in swordsmanship for more than ten years. All he has learned and used are killing techniques.
Even using a bamboo sword is still dangerous.
In this case, it really goes against his principles to let him bully a child.
"Don't worry, that guy is thick-skinned, so just go ahead and take action." Kumokawa smiled nonchalantly, "Anyway, you want to be their kendo teacher, so just think of it as establishing prestige for them."
"However, he was taught by me anyway, and sometimes he surprises me. You'd better be careful."
Hearing this, Yoshitaka turned to look at the boy named Yahiko in the back row, and found that the boy's face was uncontrollably eager to try.
As if he had encountered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he had long been looking for an opportunity to beat Amegakure's people. His thoughts were displayed on his face without any concealment, and he was completely a childish brat with no sense of intelligence.
What should he be careful about with a guy like this?
Seeing a hint of contempt flashing across Yoshitaka's eyes, Kumokawa stepped aside with a smile on his face without saying a word, walked up to the crowd and acted as a backdrop with his hands behind his back, leaving the middle space to Yahiko and Yoshitaka.
Yahiko walked out of the queue with his bamboo sword in hand, and finally stood in front of Yoshitaka.
"Kid." Yoshitaka's arm holding the bamboo sword naturally hung by his side. He didn't seem to have any enthusiasm at all. He just looked down at Yahiko, who was much different in height. "It will hurt a little, but it will be fine soon."
"Yoshitaka-Sensei." Faced with his contemptuous attitude, Yahiko just smiled and said, "Oh, let me declare in advance that I call you Sensei, not out of respect for you, but just out of courtesy. I hope there is no mistake."
"I heard that the relationship between superiors and subordinates at Amegakure is very strict, but since you are here, you'd better get rid of it as soon as possible. We will not obey unconditionally because of our age."
When Yoshitaka heard this, he subconsciously raised his eyebrows, a little surprised by this kid's sharp tongue.
After all, it was a country founded by daimyo and samurai. Respect for class privileges has not been abandoned, and the strict hierarchy has been passed down to this day.
For a sentence with the same meaning, different words must be chosen depending on the occasion, the degree of closeness between the two parties, or the superior-subordinate relationship.
There are seven or eight different ways of expressing a sentence in different specific situations.
However, this situation is not a special case of the Land of Rain. Even the five major countries have it more or less. This kid is obviously mocking him for being an outsider.
After all, the atmosphere in this city is indeed different from that of Amegakure Village.
People are much closer to each other, and there are not so many outdated rules.
"Hmph." Yoshitaka narrowed his eyes slightly and snorted coldly, "I hope your sword is as sharp as your tongue."
"You will know after you try it." Yahiko held the sword in his middle and looked at him from three meters away. The expression on his face gradually faded, and his eyes were full of calmness. "I will fight you as a real enemy."
The students around them all saw that the current situation seemed to have gradually changed from a teaching situation to a grudge situation, but this atmosphere only made them more excited.
Everyone looked at the two opposing people expectantly, wondering how they would defeat each other in a fair and just way.
In front of the crowd, Kumokawa glanced at Yahiko's hands and feet and found no signs of trembling. He was neither nervous nor afraid, his muscles relaxed naturally, and his breathing was very calm and peaceful.
Well, it's in good shape, but...
"Are you so sharp?"
There was a smile on the corner of Yoshitaka's mouth. He held the bamboo sword at his side. He suddenly stood up straight and bowed at 90 degrees. He put away his smile and said seriously: "I'm Yoshitaka, please give me some advice."
Seeing this, Yahiko, who had already taken a stance, was stunned for a moment, but he still put down his bamboo sword and saluted: "Please give me advice..."
Bang! !
Even before Yahiko finished speaking, when he bowed down, Yoshitaka took action without hesitation!
After he took a step, his determination completely exploded, and his whole body shot out like a crossbow. The start was so fast that everyone was shocked and found it difficult to react.
Yoshitaka's complete lack of martial ethics exceeded everyone's expectations, and only a few people saw clearly the process of his explosion from zero to full speed.
The distance of less than three meters was shortened to zero by him in the blink of an eye.
"You!" Yahiko only had time to raise his head, and his eyes that instantly widened reflected the bamboo sword being swung at him.
The killing intent that surged out of Yoshitaka was so real and cold, as if what he held in his hand was not a bamboo sword, but a real sharp sword that could easily cut off a human body.
Bang! !
Yahiko panicked and raised his bamboo sword in front of him, but he was almost knocked out by the sword, and his original calm aura was completely disrupted.
"Boy, you are too young."
Yoshitaka did not intend to leave Yahiko any time to adjust his condition, and once again swung his bamboo sword with a frightening whistling sound.
Kasaya beheads! Kasaya beheads! Reverse cassock! Crosscut!
Bang! Bang bang!!
After erupting from zero to full strength in an instant, Yoshitaka slammed into Yahiko with great momentum, and the sound of the bamboo sword's explosion was crisp and clear.
Yahiko, who fell into a passive position, could only resist with difficulty. When he got into Yoshitaka's rhythm, he was completely pressed back by him step by step.
"Ah! Despicable! Shameless! How could this be possible?!"
The shocked people also reacted at this time. The little fat man Asuto shouted angrily: "That uncle didn't follow martial ethics and went to sneak attack a child of several years old."
The other children were also very angry, but before they could curse, they suddenly heard Kumokawa speak.
"It was Yahiko who said he would fight Yoshitaka-Sensei as his real enemy."
Everyone looked over subconsciously and saw Kumokawa shaking his head and saying: "The enemy won't show any martial virtues by bowing to you and exchanging names."
"What's more, Yoshitaka-Sensei's actions can be said to be a rushing attack, or it can be said to be 'the Three firsts in swordsmanship'."
"Three firsts" is an important tactical concept in kendo, and the principle is seizing the opportunity to attack first.
In layman's terms, it means "strike first to gain the upper hand". In sword fighting, the two parties face each other and refuse to give in. "Being first" is not something that can be obtained easily. It is something that can be snatched in the battle for opportunity.
Therefore, "three firsts" actually means "to seize the opportunity first".
The so-called "three firsts" are "first before first", "first before first" and "last before first".
First, first, first, what we are talking about is "rush to attack".
The first is to focus on offense like Yoshitaka and attack first.
The second is to attack your opponent one step ahead of him before he makes a move.
The third type is to see through the opponent's movements and attack accordingly when he raises his sword. It is a technique to attack the opponent's weak points. It is the most demanding skill among the "three firsts".
This is the path Musashi chose for Amegakure. The core point of Musashi style has never changed, and that is to use all possible means to win!
What Yoshitaka used was just the simplest one, and it already put Yahiko at a disadvantage.
"This……"
After hearing Kumokawa's explanation, everyone was speechless for a moment and said dejectedly: "How could this happen?"
At the same time, under Yoshitaka's attack like a torrential rain, Yahiko's mind almost went blank, and his instinct-driven block finally made mistakes.
Bang!!
Yoshitaka swung his bamboo sword without hesitation and struck Yahiko hard on the wrist, knocking his bamboo sword off suddenly.
Feeling the numbness in his right hand, Yahiko's expression changed instantly, and he stretched out his left hand to grab the bamboo sword.
But at the next moment, a chilling voice came.
"It's over, kid."
Yoshitaka had no intention of stopping and punched Yahiko in the cheek.
Boom! !
Yahiko had no time to defend himself with his hands, and his cheeks trembled like ripples.
The sweat on his face splashed out, as if he had been hit by a hammer, and his whole body hit the ground heavily.
"hiss!"
Seeing this scene, everyone couldn't help but take a breath, their faces were burning with empathy, and they narrowed their eyes unbearably.
This attack is too cruel!
"Sigh!"
Looking at Yahiko with only the back of his head exposed, Yoshitaka exhaled, looked up at Kumokawa and said respectfully: "Lord Kumokawa, the winner has been decided."
Hearing this, Kumokawa just smiled and said, "Didn't I say that?"
"That kid has rough skin and thick flesh, and is very durable."
As soon as these words came out, Yoshitaka couldn't help but be stunned for a moment. Before he could react, he suddenly heard a gust of wind.
Bang! !
Yahiko, who was originally lying on the ground, turned over, spun around on the ground and kicked out, directly in the span of Yoshitaka.
The merciless power made Yoshitaka take a few steps back.
Then, the originally straight waist gradually bent down, and the expression on his face became a little ferocious.
"hiss!"
Looking at Yoshitaka who bent down to cover his lower body and his face was ashen, everyone who was originally looking frustrated took another breath and looked at Yahiko who staggered up with horrified eyes.
You're worse than him!
"Cough!"
Yahiko shook his dazed head and looked up at Yoshitaka, only to be met with a pair of angry eyes.
"You bastard!" Yoshitaka gritted his teeth, sweat streaming down his face from the pain, and said bitterly, "You are so vicious!"
"Isn't this what ‘Yoshitaka-sensei' taught me?" Yahiko touched the big bump on his head and gasped in pain and said.
It was obvious that Yahiko and Yoshitaka were really angry. They looked at each other with violent coldness in their eyes, which made everyone around them feel depressed.
Creak!
Yahiko's body weight dropped, his steps moved forward, and he once again grasped the sword that he had not let go from the beginning to the end. His mind and aura were condensed and solidified, and he was ready to go.
"Do it again!" He hid his anger in his eyes and in his sword, and his breath became calm, just waiting for the enemy in front of him to strike again.
"Then let's do it again!" Yoshitaka also gradually straightened his body, still unable to hide the look of anger on his face, his body sank slightly and he gripped the bamboo sword.
He used to trick others, but today, he was actually tricked by a kid!
The last person to beat him was that bastard from the Hatake family!
There are two people, one big and one small, one behind and one in front, one serious and the other cheerful.
As a result, these two guys with thick eyebrows and big eyes are completely different from what they appear to be. They are both indifferent bastards!
If I don’t take revenge today, I’ll feel sore when I sleep at night!
Thinking of this, Yoshitaka twitched his face and growled: "Die!"
Bang!!
Because the explosion speed was too fast, he seemed to be hiding in the dark shadows and slashed at Yahiko's neck!
Facing such a swift and violent attack, Yahiko's eyes were as wide as bells, and his pupils clearly reflected his figure. Even if someone poured water over him, he would never close his eyes for a moment!
When the distance between the two was about to disappear, Yahiko finally moved. Instead of drawing his sword, he took a quick step back.
Whoops!!
The strong wind caused by the bamboo sword passed through the tip of his nose, and he could even feel the sting and smell the smell of the bamboo sword.
Then he lowered himself down with a sword in one hand and slashed horizontally with the momentum!
"Good!"
Yoshitaka's pupils condensed and he praised loudly, his voice resounding throughout the classroom.
This is not a mockery or provocation, it is purely an appreciation for this blow!
Because the opponent's attack was a late strike to seize the opportunity, it has a bit of "first, first, first" charm!
Bang! Bang bang!!
Yoshitaka stuck out his butt in some embarrassment, and was able to tuck in his abdomen and avoid this horizontal slash. He immediately retracted the bamboo sword he swung in front of him to block Yahiko's two fast pursuits.
But this is just the beginning.
Kasaya chop, kasaya chop, reverse cassock, cross cut...
It's almost the same move, but the attacker and defender have reversed it.
Facing Yahiko's attacks one after another like a tidal wave, Yoshitaka, who is passive at this moment, can still calmly deal with the block, and can hit back the bamboo sword accurately no matter how fast it is.
He was even looking for an opportunity, trying to lift his sword and stab back, to regain the opportunity.
"..."
The children around him couldn't help but lean forward, their eyes fixed on every detail.
"Sigh!"
Yahiko's breathing gradually became deeper, and the breath he exhaled fell on Yoshitaka's face, even making him feel a slight burning pain.
Hidden under the sound of breathing was the heartbeat. The extremely violent heartbeat was like a lion locked in a cage, roaring and trying to get out of the cage!
Quick! Faster! Not enough! A little more power!
The sweat-soaked kendo uniform is still close to the skin, and the burning blood seems to be driving at high speed in the body, squeezing out every ounce of strength like grinding.
As the sweat flowed out and was transferred to the bamboo sword, the whistling sound sounded like a low roar!
Bang!!
"No! This strength..."
Yoshitaka took the next blow again and felt the power getting stronger and stronger like the waves, but his face sank slightly: "I can't delay it any longer!"
Yoshitaka originally wanted to rely on his physical strength to wear down this brat, or wait until this brat was exhausted.
However, the kid got stronger and stronger as he fought, and the power and speed of swinging the sword did not weaken at all!
He used to be able to take it with ease, but now his arms and eyes feel sore.
If this continues, the one who will be dragged down is me!
Thinking of this, Yoshitaka's pupils froze and his muscles tensed up.
But at this moment, the crackling sound of bones sounded
"Huh! Bah!"
Yoshitaka looked up with a stunned expression, only to see the hot white breath visible to the naked eye overflowing from Yahiko's mouth where his teeth were clenched.
"That's enough!" Yahiko firmly grasped the handle of the sword with both hands, and his bones made a crisp sound. He suddenly raised his head and looked at Yoshitaka, gritted his teeth and said, "I want to blow you up!"
The lungs contract violently to absorb enough oxygen to provide fuel for exercise.
The blood in the blood vessels seemed to be really burning, rushing through the body and releasing terrifying energy!
Kaka! Click! Bang! !
Under Yoshitaka's unresponsive gaze, Yahiko's figure turned into a flowing line, and the ground beneath his feet shattered into spider web-like cracks.
The next moment, when Yahiko appeared again, he was already in front of Yoshitaka.
"Sun Breathing: First Form!" He gritted his teeth, suppressed his trembling arms, and growled, "Dance!"
The fire surged out from the bamboo sword, emitting a scorching sensation like the sun. The heat wave instantly filled the entire classroom, illuminating the dozens of astonished faces.
Can swordsmanship still be used like this?!
What are you trying to do with your life by sparring with each other? !
Yoshitaka, whose face was ashen, only had time to open his mouth. The hot sword drew an arc close to a true circle in the air, and then slashed in front of him mercilessly.
BOOM!!
