"Hello."
After being ignored, Hiruko looked at the little kid in front of him and said coldly: "I'm talking to you."
After Kumokawa spoke, Tsuyu retreated behind him, like a silent guard.
Therefore, Hiruko could only ask this question to the little kid, but his voice sounded a little stiff and astringent.
"Hmm?" Kumokawa didn't even look at him. He just looked at the boxes and smiled, "I'm listening, I'm listening, but..."
As he spoke, he looked up at the lighthouse and asked softly, "You don't seem to be listening to what I said."
"...What?" Hearing these inexplicable words, Hiruko was subconsciously stunned and looked at Kumokawa in confusion.
This kid feels... so weird.
"So, didn't I say that in the letter?"
Kumokawa tilted his head and glanced at Hiruko with his peripheral vision. The smile on his face faded a little: "I told you to wait here. Don't do anything unnecessary."
"It seems that you didn't take what I said to heart at all."
Tick!
A drop of red water fell from the top of the tower, hit the ground, splashing water, breaking the silent feeling of suffocation and pressure.
A Sand Ninja subconsciously raised his head, and a few drops fell on his dry lips. The fishy smell of rust startled him.
Immediately, a whistling sound was heard in the sky, and a black shadow fell down at high speed, hitting the box next to him.
Bang!
The Sand Ninjas subconsciously took a few steps back, and scarlet blood spurted out, splashing on their faces, leaving dark red marks.
"...What?" They looked at the abnormally distorted black shadow in horror.
The corpse of a Sand Ninja that had lost its limbs and only had half of its head left smashed on the box, causing the hard wooden box to dent.
The head seemed to have been hit hard and dented, with a blood-red eyeball hanging on the face, and vaguely visible fear and astonishment in it.
The broken body, like a stick, was covered with shocking scars. Those wounds were not left by cutting with sharp weapons, but were twisted and torn by brute force.
The bones and flesh at the broken end twisted and spun, revealing scarlet rotten flesh. One could see the pain the arm had endured when it was twisted off.
Afterwards, the tower, which had been relatively quiet and rainless, was then filled with the noisy sound of rain.
No, it was not a rainstorm, it was a huge amount of blood, pouring down from the top of the tower as if a floodgate had been opened.
Snap! Snap!
Black shadows crashed against the walls and railings one after another.
In the dim light above, there were torsos with only heads left, as well as broken and twisted arms and thighs. A large number of body parts mixed with blood were pouring down like gravel.
It hit the ground, the guardrail, and their feet, making people tremble with shivering teeth as they watched the broken limbs and arms oozing with scarlet blood.
The top of the tower seemed to have turned into a high-powered meat grinder. The few Sand Ninjas who were originally guarding the top of the tower had all their blood squeezed out in silence, and their bodies turned into broken pieces and fell down with a loud bang!
The next moment, a loud explosion suddenly sounded in the lighthouse.
Bang!!
The first one to attack was Hiruko, who did not hesitate.
Tsuyu, who was standing behind Kumokawa, felt a chill between his brows, and a chill that covered the sky and the sun instantly rose in his heart, but he could not move his hands or feet ahead of the killing intent.
The cold light shooting towards his brow was reflected in his contracted pupils.
He was a civilian who had only undergone some samurai physical training, and faced with the sudden attack from the Hiruko, he had no time to react.
However, even so, there was no fear on his face, he just instinctively tensed his body.
clang!!
A spark exploded in front of Tsuyu, and the kunai that was shot by Hiruko was split into two halves, and two piles of mud were ejected on the ground behind him.
The lingering sound of the metal coilding echoed clearly in the lighthouse.
“…”
Tsuyu saw the sword across his forehead clearly, and turned his head to see that it was Yahiko who was standing beside him who used the sword to save him.
"Oh, you've improved so fast?" Tsuyu looked surprised, but still smiled and said, "Thanks, kid."
Although he knew that Lord Kumokawa was here and would never let him die like this, he did not expect that the one who would take action would be Yahiko.
He remember that not long ago, this kid was still indecisive, naive and childish.
Now it seems that he has been trained well?
"Haha, you're welcome, Uncle Tsuyu."
Yahiko took back the sword, smiled complacently, and after swinging the sword in a circle in a showy manner, he inserted the sword into the scabbard.
"You want to rob the thieves?"
In the distance, Hiruko's tone was distorted by gloom as he saw this scene.
The situation has been determined, transactions no longer exist, and now all that is left is the common practice of black-eating-black.
He thought that the strongest person was the old guy, and those two little children were just being protected, so he chose to attack him first.
Unexpectedly, the facts did not seem to be what he thought.
At the same time, as soon as Hiruko's words came out, among the more than 20 Sand Ninjas hiding in the dark, some of them reacted quickly and pointed their weapons at Kumokawa and others...
Bang!
It was not a sharp sound, but the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground.
A black shadow fell from the top of the tower, and stepped heavily on the heads of the two Sand Ninjas with its feet. Shocking blood instantly splattered in the open space.
At this distance, he almost hit Hiruko.
Without hesitation, something with a cold and chilling glow stabbed out from behind the Hiruko.
Click.
The black shadow dodged in time and was not stabbed, and finally saw clearly what was stabbed out.
——It is a whip-shaped weapon with a spike at the end, like a scorpion's tail.
From under the black robe that was covering him, Hiruko used tail whip, without stopping even when it pierced the air. It whipped through the air like a whip, making a bang and attacked towards the black shadow.
Crack!!
The two arms blocking in front of him made a crisp sound, and the two feet that were firmly planted on the ground dragged out of the ravine, and were almost blown away by the huge force of the tail whip.
When the black shadow's forehead veins bulge with anger and he burst out with strength, trying to grab the tail whip, Hiruko instantly retracted it.
They saw the black shadow's arms hanging limply at his sides, with both arms twisted and folded backwards unnaturally.
"He! He..."
But at this moment, the Sand Ninja behind Hiruko looked at the face of the black shadow with an expression as if he had seen a ghost, and said in horror: "I killed him a long time ago! How could it be..."
This figure was the tower keeper who should have been dead long ago.
However, the other party no longer looked ordinary, and there was not a single inch of space left on his body that was not covered in blood.
Moreover, the other party was no longer human being, but rather a two-meter-tall monster with limbs transformed into sharp claws, bathing in the blood rain pouring down from the top of its head.
The next moment, under the stunned and suspicious gaze of the Sand Ninja, the tower keeper swung his broken arms.
Snap! Snap!
With crisp sounds, the dense bones that are more numerous than those of an ordinary person are recovered under the powerful healing power, and the gaps between the bones disappear.
"...It seems that he has answered your doubts with his actions." After a moment of silence, Hiruko spoke in an unusually serious tone.
At the same time, the tower guard who looked like a middle-aged uncle but exuded a strong smell of blood came to Kumokawa and said respectfully with fear: "Kumokawa-sama, I am very sorry, I couldn't..."
Before he could finish his words, Kumokawa waved his hand and said with a smile: "After all, he is an elite among the sunagakure jonin. However, you still need to work hard, Yoru. I am very optimistic about you."
"Yes!"
The tower keeper's face was full of fanaticism, and his drooping eyes subconsciously raised.
In the vertical pupils that belonged uniquely to the "Demon", one eyeball had "lower moon" engraved on it, and the other eyeball had "three" engraved on it.
——Twelve Demon Moons: Lower Moon Three: Yoru.
