Buzz!
The ground beneath his feet began to vibrate with a humming sound, and even Rasa could feel the sound like thunder.
The tremendous power could be felt through the rock layers, as if there was an invisible monster twisting its body underground, eager to break free from the cage that bound it.
And in the next moment, after the earth-shaking sound, there was a deafening roar.
Bang!
The heavy objects around me were blown away as if they were weightless.
Under the feet of the crowd, the ground suddenly bulged and a terrifying crack appeared, with a diameter of one hundred meters.
The Sand Ninja who subconsciously attached his chakra to the ground did not have time to feel shocked and horrified by this scene.
Crack! !
After a huge arc appeared on the ground, a deafening explosion sounded again.
The shocking bulge became more obvious, something was hitting the ground from bottom to top!
Judging from the range of the convex marks, the length of that thing was several dozen meters!
Everyone shuddered violently, and fear instantly spread throughout their bodies.
In an instant, I first felt a sense of weightlessness, and then my whole body was lifted into the air.
No, they didn't vacate.
Instead, the ground beneath their feet gave way.
Boom! !
A dark crack appeared on the ground under Rasa's feet, and tents, tables, chairs and other miscellaneous items fell down in an instant and were "swallowed" by the expanding hole.
"What happened?!"
"It's that Hanzo!!"
Countless rocks poured down into the deep pit. The Sand Ninja who was falling shouted and stepped on the falling large pieces of rubble as a foothold to stabilize his body, trying to jump to the bottomless pit.
Rasa stepped on a layer of gold sand, barely supported his body and slowly rose up.
"How could the ground collapse so suddenly?"
Looking down at the bottomless dark abyss below, Rasa's face was full of horror and fear.
But in the next moment, in the deep pit, the slender eyes slowly opened.
"Roar!!"
Before the Sand Ninjas could react, a huge mouth like an abyss emerged from the ground.
There really was a huge monster rising from the ground, and suddenly rushed out from under the feet of Rasa and other Sand Ninjas!
"Ah!!"
"Monster!!"
"What is this?!"
Amid the Sand Ninjas' screams of terror, Rasa's hair stood on end as he looked at the huge mouth of the abyss rising into the sky.
In his gradually dilating pupils, he could almost see the monster's stomach, and its sharp teeth were almost sticking to his face!
At this critical moment between life and death, he didn't even have time to continue climbing, or even to scream!
When he felt death approaching, he subconsciously raised his head and stretched out his hand, looking at the light outside the pit above his head.
The overwhelming stench coming from below made Rasa feel suffocated and frightened.
And just when he was feeling desperate.
"Hold me tight."
Chiyo suddenly appeared on the rubble above and grabbed Rasa's drowning hand.
Immediately, the blue-faced puppet that remained outside extended two iron whips from its head and tied up Rasa and Chiyo's bodies.
Crack! !
Before the huge mouth of the abyss closed, the two were forcibly pulled up.
Rasa stepped on the solid ground, and his originally tense body relaxed instantly. He sat down on the ground with a pale face.
Together with the Sand Ninjas who had arrived later, he looked at the bottomless hole below with fear.
"A giant summoning beast?"
Beside him, Chiyo stood up, with a solemn expression on her face, and said in a deep voice: "No wonder the wind suddenly blew up, it was created by enemies."
It's likely that the summoned beast was already underground, hollowing out the space beneath their feet long before Hanzo showed up.
It was only because they were all focused on the sky under the cover of the noisy hurricane that no one noticed the threat coming from underground.
Boom!!
As Chiyo was thinking, bundles of dust and rubble suddenly shot up into the sky from the deep pit.
A huge cloud of dust spread all around, and a hideous and huge shadow appeared.
Snap! Crunch! Gulp!
The Sand Ninjas couldn't help but feel creepy at the sound of teeth chewing, the crisp sound of bones being bitten, and the sticky sound of swallowing.
These dense and complex sounds seemed to hit everyone's heart, making their bodies tremble.
The faint wailing sounded like a parasite, crawling up along the spine of the body inch by inch.
It drilled into their brains from their ear holes and eye corners, and tore at the pituitary gland at the back of their brains, telling them that death was so close to them.
——That was obviously the sound of a monster eating a human alive.
"Get started!"
Compared to the chunin and genin ninjas who were stunned by fear, Chiyo roared and shouted, and several sand jonins reacted instantly.
"Wind Release: High Sky Cannon!"
"Wind Release: Vacuum Wave!"
"Wind Release: Wind Cutting Technique!"
Everyone, including Chiyo, attacked at the same time before the dust and fog cleared.
Several wind-release ninjutsu were thrown out, gradually gathering in the air and forming a condensed wind field.
Squeak! Squeak!
The wind domain suddenly exploded after shrinking violently, covering the entire area in front of him with dust. The piercing and high-pitched scream cut through the air, and countless sharp wind blades raged in it, breaking through the dust fog and leaving distinct traces!
But in the next moment, the huge figure looming in the dust and fog roared.
"Roar!!"
The raging wind field formed by countless wind blades exploded, turning into air currents that swept up the dust and spread instantly, enveloping the Sand Ninjas around the pit.
It also shook away the surrounding smoke and dust, forming a vacuum zone, and the monster's face was finally revealed.
"What is it?"
Many Sand Ninjas raised their heads with dull expressions, looking up at the extremely tall figure.
The brown-purple body was extremely sturdy, with four toes on the front limbs and five toes on the hind limbs. The thick and laterally flattened tail slapped the ground, and the vibration was extremely heavy.
There are no scales on the surface of the skin, only a layer of mucous membrane covering it, which is constantly secreting liquid. When it drips, it corrodes the ground and emits wisps of white smoke.
Although it is called fish, the Salamander is not actually a fish. It is an amphibian unique to the Land of Rain and one of the largest amphibians in existence.
However, even the largest salamander they had ever seen was only fifty to two hundred centimeters in length, and most were less than twenty centimeters in length.
I have never seen anything like this before.
Its height alone is more than 20 to 30 meters, and its body length is even more terrifying.
It really looks like a...
"Monster."
Rasa covered the second torn wound on his abdomen, looked up at it blankly and murmured unconsciously.
But when he was distracted, he did not notice that a purple color was spreading along the blood vessels at the wound on his abdomen.
Snap! Snap!
The salamander called "Ibuse" lay on the ground, its huge mouth still chewing something, making crisp sounds, and scarlet blood and bone fragments flowed from the corners of its mouth.
Seeing this horrifying scene, all the Sand Ninjas were stunned.
Especially the one who had made such arrogant remarks before and was luckily rescued by Chiyo.
Compared to the terrifying-sized salamander in front of him, his previous arrogant words were simply a joke.
A strong person will only put his strength into action, rather than engaging in verbal fights like a shrew.
"Old hag."
Hanzo crossed his arms, stood on top of the salamander, and looked down at the people below. His long blond hair fluttered, and his tone was full of arrogance: "I will use the blood of your Sunagakure to announce my name to the world."
Although the words were domineering, the black cat lying on top of his head looked a little funny no matter how you looked at it.
However, no one could laugh now.
Because the Salamander raised its thick neck, took a deep breath, and suddenly lowered its head and opened its mouth towards the Sand Ninjas.
Puff!!
Suddenly, the originally bright weather turned dim, and a beam of purple mist was exhaled by it.
A poisonous fog carrying deadly toxins gushed out towards the people of Sand Village.
In just a moment, the grass and trees on the ground withered.
In the front, closest to the salamander, the few jonin ninjas who had just used wind-release ninjutsu were unable to dodge and were also enveloped by the erupting poisonous mist.
In an instant, before they could even utter a scream, their corroded and rotten bodies fell to the ground and turned into several corpses in the poisonous fog.
"How lethal is this poison?!"
Seeing this horrifying scene, Chiyo's face changed instantly. She threw out the purple scroll again and injected chakra into it.
BANG!!
Seven puppets of different shapes come out of the "scroll", and all of the ten Chikamatsu puppets gathered around Chiyo, all wearing white robes but holding different weapons.
Just before the poisonous fog swept over, three puppets stood in front of her to form a triangle formation and opened the three mechanisms of "Buddha", "Dharma" and "Monk".
"Three treasures suck it down!" Chiyo's fingers moved slightly and she shouted with a grim expression.
The three puppets that formed a triangle formation stretched out their arms, and then generated an extremely terrifying suction force.
The dust, stone chips, blood and other debris in front of her were all attracted by the hurricane centered on the puppet.
Even the rain was condensed by the wind!
The spreading poisonous fog that was sprayed out was also sucked into it by the puppet.
It gradually turned into a compressed tornado and shot out from the back of the triangle formation!
The other Sand Village jonin also reacted and used their own methods and ninjutsu to disperse the poisonous fog to a farther place.
"Snorkel old man!"
Chiyo looked up at Hanzo with gritted teeth, her angry eyes looking as if she wanted to eat him alive, and roared: "I won't let you succeed!"
As if to prevent his fame from spreading far and wide, she even stopped calling Hanzo by his name and simply referred to him as the old man with the snorkel.
At the same time, the puppet holding a sword suddenly appeared in the air and slashed fiercely at Hanzo's head.
But Hanzo just glanced at him, not even bothering to block with his chain, he just raised his eyes and said, "Are you still not going to make a move?"
Squeak! !
As the words fell, a terrifying scream tore through the air. In front of that blade, anything was as fragile as bubbles.
But in the next moment, the blade suddenly stopped.
Buzz! !
It was like hitting a solid wall, making a sharp buzzing sound.
“How is this possible?!” Chiyo’s pupils froze instantly below.
She clearly didn't see Hanzo making any hand seals!
When she looked carefully, she found that it was a flowing wind wall with a gorgeous glow.
"What?"
Before Chiyo could react, the black cat above Hanzo's head raised its eyes, and she met its amber vertical pupils.
And that human impatience and coldness made Chiyo stunned for a moment.
She then realized that no matter the rain, smoke, or poisonous fog, none of them had ever reached one meter around the cat.
It looks like there is an invisible field surrounding the body.
Immediately, Chiyo saw the black cat slowly raise its pink paw, and the puppet that was suspended in front of it and making a clicking sound actually retreated little by little as it raised its cat paw.
The air seemed to ripple, gently swaying in the rain at a frequency, like a gradually expanding transparent balloon.
Under the astonished gazes of the crowd, the sharp vertical pupils penetrated and stared at the white-clothed puppet in the silent rain, and whispered, "Get lost."
As soon as it finished speaking, it stretched out its claws and slashed the air with force. The sharp claws only tore through a stream of air, just like cutting a hole on the surface of a soap bubble. However, the Sand Village people saw an unimaginable scene.
At this moment, the air between it and the puppet suddenly deformed and twisted.
Then, an explosion several times louder than the roar of the salamander was heard.
It was not a roar, but the roar of the air.
Stand:Stray Cat:Cloud Blast!
BANG!!
The white gas exploded from between the black cat and the puppet, reaching the critical point in an instant and forming a spherical gas explosion.
Instantly, the sword overwhelmed the puppet, hitting it in the face with a terrifying impact!
And the puppet that consumed countless scarce resources to create, was regarded as a treasure by countless puppeteers in the Sunagakure Village, and had been used for decades without damage, under the gaze of countless Sand Ninjas below...
"Exploded!"
Sparks flashed out from the gaps of the puppet full of mechanical parts, and countless hard parts exploded in the mouth like fireworks and shot out in all directions!
The whole scene instantly became dead silent, so quiet that you could hear the trivial and fragmented sounds of each part ejected after it fell to the ground.
It seemed that what was broken was not the puppet, but their hearts.
Even Hanzo at the feet of the black cat was silent, but it was because the air exploded at a close distance next to his ears.
Hanzo felt a buzzing in his ears, and he could no longer maintain his originally calm and arrogant demeanor. He said with a dark face, "...You damn cat, did you do this on purpose?"
The black cat above his head retracted its claws, glanced down at Hanzo calmly, and then opened its mouth as if nothing had happened: "Meow?"
I'm just a little kitty.
What bad intentions could I have?
“……” Hanzo’s eyes couldn’t help but twitch.
