The next day.
It was approaching dusk.
A mysterious island in the first half of the Grand Line.
Under the setting sun.
In the center of the island, among the bare rubble.
A huge black object was shaking, and its shape looked as if it had been cut directly by a sword with only the roots left, or like a huge iron wire.
Chilling.
Hundreds of figures were fleeing frantically.
However, countless iron wire-like tentacles extended from the cross-section of the huge black object.
These tentacles wrapped around the human figures, rolled up, and finally merged into the strange cross-section.
"No! I don't want to take part in the trial!"
"Help!"
"Damn it, what kind of monster is this?"
The pirates who were caught by the strange tentacles all changed their expressions and were terrified.
There were endless curses, screams, and cries for help.
But in the end, they were all adjusted into that cross-section and integrated into that huge and strange object.
Others also wish they had more legs.
In the running crowd.
There was a short figure.
She was a little girl who looked about ten years old.
She has black hair and wears somewhat worn clothes. Her name is Nico Robin.
She is a member of the fleeing pirate group.
She was forced to join the crew.
Because the captain of this pirate group valued her ability to interpret historical texts.
Under the stimulation of a series of major events.
Her captain also led the pirate group through untold hardships from the West Blue to the Grand Line.
And Nico Robin also followed this ambitious captain here.
But now it seems that everything is coming to an end.
The captain of this pirate group was killed with one arrow by the strange owner of this island.
Now they have all been integrated into that strange huge object and it is unknown whether they are still alive.
“Ah, help!!”
"Help me!"
"Hahaha, let's die together!"
In a severe life-and-death crisis.
The pirate group began to fall apart, and those who fled began to trip up others just to increase their own chances of survival.
Listening to the screams that were coming.
Robin covered her ears and ran madly.
Everything here is a nightmare, the strange island, the strange black monster, the depressing atmosphere, and those companions who are beginning to show their ugliness, she is really scared!
But no matter how scared she was, she couldn't stop.
She still wants to live, and live well.
"Damn brat! Get out of the way!"
As Robin ran in fear.
A pirate behind her stepped over her and pushed her down.
As long as this little ghost falls, it can delay the strange tentacles behind him and increase his survival rate.
Everything here is seen by Baron Carnival, the owner of the island.
He watched all this with indifference.
His former companions are now behaving in an ugly manner, which is what he wants to see.
There is also a lovely flower on his shoulder, but it looks a bit weird in today's atmosphere.
The strange tentacles extended in the void like vines.
Finally, it wrapped around her ankles under Robin's blank mind.
She was lifted up all of a sudden.
As the tentacles retract.
Robin also saw the cross-section of this huge black line, which looked like a big mouth.
There were countless figures mixed in, blending in as if they were eating.
Hanging upside down, Robin watched herself being slowly moved above the section.
Tick!
Tick!
Her tears began to flow.
So scary! Really so scary! I am really scared!
Robin just felt a huge emptiness welling up in her heart and began to lose her breath.
Is she going to die?
Who can come to save her? Is there really anyone who can save her?
Who will come to rescue her?
Feeling her ankles being loosen, Robin had one last thought and closed her eyes.
Perhaps, I should have died long ago!
Chirp!
A loud bird song sounded.
A bird with a golden shimmer like a phoenix suddenly flew over from the sky.
The speed was extremely fast, and it passed by in a flash.
Robin only felt like she fell into a warm embrace.
This is?!
She opened her eyes.
What caught her eye was a pair of deep and peaceful eyes.
"We actually met her here?"
The person coming was none other than Kai, and he couldn't help but think at this moment.
If he hadn't arrived in time, the little girl in front of him might really have been lost.
This girl is unmistakably Nico Robin.
I didn’t expect to encounter it here!
Kai stretched out a hand and gently wiped the tears from the corners of Robin's eyes.
He said warmly.
"Is everything okay! Little girl!"
Look at his face and gentle movements.
Robin's originally blank face couldn't help but blush.
"No, it's okay! Thank you for saving me! Brother!"
She doesn't know how to call her, so it should be okay to call her brother!
"Well, it's okay!"
When Kai was talking, Natori had already flown to the ground.
Kai jumped to the ground holding Robin in his arms.
Hancock, who was next to him, also came down.
Now Hancock still has some strength, this height is nothing to her.
But at this time, Hancock's pink cheeks were slightly bulging like a little frog, and she looked at Robin in Kai's arms with some jealousy.
Why is this girl staring at my brother so hard?
She also took over my position, I am so angry!
But after thinking about it, that girl had just been rescued, so I shouldn't care about it for the time being.
"Who the hell are you?"
At this time, Baron Carnival watched a guy riding a strange bird appear not far away and save a girl.
He felt something was wrong.
Is that flying bird a mythical beast?
Look at its slightly glowing appearance.
Baron Carnival couldn't help but think.
Because the flower of rebirth and death on his shoulder is an alien.
So he paid more attention to this strange creature.
Not to mention that fantasy beasts are powerful beings in legends.
No matter how you look at the appearance of the flying bird in front of you, it is not weak!
Kai heard the question from Baron Carnival not far away.
He didn't answer.
Instead, he lowered Robin in his arms to the ground.
Feeling the warm embrace leaving, Robin was a little reluctant to let go.
But she was quickly attracted by the shimmering birds in front of her.
What kind of bird is this? It actually shines! It looks a bit like the legendary phoenix!
This is where some of the funniest things Robin has seen before come in handy.
