Tragedy in the Kingdom of Whirlpool?
Compared to those rebellious words, Hanzo, who was originally cheerful, couldn't help but be slightly startled when he heard these words with more information.
The expressions of the other rain ninjas were similar, with a look of surprise and uncertainty on their faces.
That guy, what does he mean, what tragedy?
Didn't Uzumaki Ashina, the clan leader who led the Uzumaki clan to establish the Land of Whirlpool and Uzushio Village, sign a friendly treaty with the First Hokage Senju Hashirama very early on?
In order to reflect the determination of the two countries to have generations of friendship, deep friendship and bond, Konoha's top brass even printed the Uzumaki clan's mark on the jonin's clothing.
Many people in the ninja world praised it, so they believed in the promise and prestige of Konoha and the Land of Fire.
How could tragedy happen in the Land of Whirlpool?
Could it be said that they...
"It's just what you think."
Kumokawa's slightly cold gaze swept across everyone's faces and he said calmly: "The Land of Whirlpool was once an ally of the Land of Fire, and a country that has had good relations with Konoha for generations."
"Under the eyes of the Land of Fire, it was destroyed by Kirigakure not long ago."
"The Land of Whirlpool has an alliance with the Land of Fire but it still got destroyed. Can you still naively believe that the promises of Konoha and the Land of Fire are trustworthy?"
Everyone present heard Kumokawa's calm tone, but the content was shocking and terrifying.
The surroundings fell into dead silence for an instant, and everyone who was originally shouting was stunned.
Immediately, the crowd exploded.
"Really, is it true or false?"
"The Uzumaki clan was once the top clan!"
"The Land of Whirlpool was destroyed by Kirigakure like this? Silently?"
"It's impossible for Kirigakure to mobilize a large number of troops without hiding it from Konoha, right?"
"Didn't Konoha send a team to support or even notify the Land of Whirlpool?"
Sure enough.
After hearing the news, Hanzo's expression became much more solemn, even though he had no trust in Konoha and the Land of Fire.
He had heard about it a long time ago.
The former boss of the Land of Fire who still valued credibility has passed away.
The newly succeeded daimyo is a ruthless man who can pretend to be innocent and endure bullying for more than ten years, and then laugh and order all his brothers and sisters to be killed on the second day of his succession.
Such people are prone to lying.
It was just a verbal promise, and it was hard to believe he would keep it.
But Hanzo didn't expect that the other party would be so unrestrained that he could even break the covenant.
"Seeking peace through compromise and handing over military supplies, the fate of our Land of Rain will be like that of the Land of Whirlpool, and we will become sheep in pens and lambs to be slaughtered!"
"At that time, those waiting for the Land of Rain will only die!"
Kumokawa's eyes moved to Hanzo, and he said meaningfully with a smile in his eyes: "So, there is only one way we can go!"
"Struggle!"
Sensing Kumokawa's thoughtful gaze, Hanzo subconsciously blurted out, but quickly recovered and added: "Armed struggle!"
Hearing this, everyone was shocked and confused as if they were waking up from a dream, and their faces showed anger again.
"That's right, not a single kunai can be handed over to Konoha!"
"Blindly compromising! What you get in exchange is a more brutal massacre!"
"Now that we are still capable of fighting, big countries dare to plunder and massacre us. What will happen if we hand over all our supplies?"
"Not only we cannot save the Land of Rain, but it will make Sunagakure and Konoha think that we are weak and can be bullied, making them even more unscrupulous!"
Under the guidance of Kumokawa's words.
Not only were the people behind Hanzo excited, but even the people behind Musashi were wavering.
Can Konoha and the Land of Fire be trusted?
Definitely Not!
"Did you see that, Lord Musashi?"
Kumokawa pointed at the rain ninjas, looked at the silent Musashi and smiled: "Can't you feel everyone's anger and unwillingness?"
"Or are you planning to go against everyone?"
Musashi opened his mouth subconsciously, but looking at the angry face and the eloquent mouth, he didn't know what to say for a moment.
"...I am also angry and unwilling." Musashi's voice was low and bitter, "But no matter how angry and unwilling it is, it is better than losing your life, right?"
These young brats have no idea what they are facing and what they have to resist.
The foundation and strength of a big country are definitely not comparable to that of the Land of Rain.
If the great powers are really pushed into a hurry, they release the tailed beasts and they will be helpless against those tailed-beasts.
"The once unruly 'Sword Saint, it seems your spine has been broken."
Kumokawa was completely disappointed with this old man. He narrowed his eyes and said in a deep voice: "The five major countries are indeed strong. It is difficult to resist them."
"But if there are no difficulties, what are we young people going to do?"
"As I said before, if you can't do it, just do it for us!"
The second time.
This is the second time Kumokawa has been rude to Musashi.
But this time no one scolded him for being rude. Instead, they all looked at the old man.
Even Yoshitaka behind him was like this, his eyes were a little complicated, as if he was waiting for a direct response from him.
"Musashi-sensei!"
Hanzo withdrew his approving gaze from Kumokawa, looked up at the old man and said coldly: "This is the last time I will call you sensei!"
"I once told a samurai named Mifune of the Land of Iron that the end of a person is not death, but when he loses his faith. He is a great swordsman. Even if he dies, I will declare to the world He is a hero!"
"In everyone's hearts, you are also a hero. At this time, don't miss power anymore. Hand over the position and power of the leader. Don't let your heroic name be shamed. I will lead the Kingdom of Rain to peace!"
Hearing this, Kumokawa glanced at Hanzo strangely.
If he remembers correctly, this "Hanzo-sama" will also become cowardly in the future, lose his original belief, unite with Danzo to kill Yahiko, and try to eradicate the Akatsuki organization, but force Nagato to go dark.
Thinking of this, Kumokawa couldn't help but smile in his heart.
Is this a reincarnation?
The hero who slays the dragon finally becomes the evil dragon?
Will he become a dragon?
Oh, right, he wasn't a hero to begin with.
He just wants to adjust the world to his own pleasure.
As for whether it was right or wrong, he didn't care.
For example, when he met Yahiko and Konan for the first time, if it had not been Yahiko and the two who touched the body of the Sand Ninja, he would have killed them as soon as they entered the alley.
This is why Konan felt chill and subconsciously touched her throat.
Because the dagger in his hand was just a hair away from slicing her neck.
So in essence, just like those evil dragons that rob princesses and treasures, he is at best the most eccentric of all evil dragons.
"Hero?"
Musashi, who had been silent for a long time, raised his head, looked at the questioning and resentful eyes, showed a sneer and mocked himself: "A hero who betrays his relatives?"
After saying that, he looked at Hanzo with slightly condensed eyes and said coldly: "It's useless to talk more! I will never hand over the position of leader of Amegakure to you, and I will not let the Land of Rain be buried with you because of your temporary anger."
"If you really want this position, then come and grab it! Step over my body, if you can!"
After finishing speaking, Musashi turned around and walked away with a cold expression.
"Musashi!" Hanzo shouted angrily as he watched Musashi leave, "You forced me to do this!"
As soon as the words fell, the rain ninjas behind Hanzo all drew out their weapons with a crisp sound of fighting.
The ninjas who were frozen on the spot behind Musashi nervously drew out their weapons when they saw this.
The atmosphere and mood of the crowd fluctuated violently. Invisible gunpowder smoke had filled the entire space. Everyone's gaze was like a spark on a fuse, only one fuse away from being completely ignited.
"Move……"
Hanzo's eyes narrowed slightly and he raised his hand, just as he was about to give the order.
"Stop."
A familiar and steady voice sounded, with an undeniable power that made everyone stop their movements subconsciously.
Hanzo frowned slightly and looked up again.
Looking into those blue eyes, he narrowed his eyes slightly and asked, "Why did you stop me?"
