BANG!!
Kumokawa was like being hit by a huge rock falling from the sky, and fell back to the ground, creating a large amount of rubble.
Hanzo, who was in mid-air, took the blow head-on, but was slashed across the air and knocked away in an instant.
The base of the sickle cracked directly, staining the handle dark red, and it almost slipped out of his hand due to numbness.
He fell in front of a group of rain ninjas once again, and under their horrified gazes, he slid back a few meters before completely losing his strength.
"That little brat..."
Feeling his arms and hands tingling slightly, Hanzo suppressed the slight trembling before his subordinates behind him noticed.
Immediately, he raised his head with a serious expression and looked at the figure on the tower.
Very strong. Very strong.
Even Hanzo, who was very proud of himself, had to admit that the guy's attainments in swordsmanship were not inferior to his own, and that his way of combining swordsmanship with chakra was different.
He doesn't know how that guy strengthened his cardiopulmonary function, so that he could absorb a large amount of oxygen in an instant and greatly increase his body strength.
Hanzo doesn’t know which of the two methods is stronger or weaker.
After all, when it comes to swordsmanship, no matter how well you master the techniques and concepts, in the end you still have to use real weapons to fight.
And judging from the very brief test just now, their strength and speed are almost the same, and the level of swordsmanship they displayed is also almost the same.
If it really comes to a life-and-death fight, it all depends on who has more cards.
"So it's true, your reputation is definitely not fake."
As the voice full of satisfaction and emotion sounded, Kumokawa brushed off the dust on the corners of his clothes and walked out again.
"Where on earth did this guy come from?" Looking at the unharmed Kumokawa up high, Hanzo narrowed his eyes and thought to himself, "Is he a friend or an enemy?"
Just as doubts arose in his heart, a frightened shout suddenly rang out.
"Why, why is it you?!"
Hanzo turned around following the voice, only to see a Rain Ninja dressed as a Chunin, raising his head with a look of shock and fear.
"Hmm?" Kumokawa looked down at the Rain Ninja, subconsciously raised his eyebrows, and asked in confusion, "Who are you?"
But soon, the memory that had been discarded in the corner surfaced, and he clapped his hands suddenly and said with a look of realization: "Oh, I remember it now."
"You are the guy I saved and left with Hanzo."
Hearing this, Hanzo was stunned at first, then his brows gradually furrowed, and most of his hostility disappeared.
"Is it you?" On the contrary, Musashi's expression was very surprising, "The child of the Muzan’s family?"
As if realizing something, his expression changed instantly.
Muzan was once a key official in charge of government affairs under the daimyo, and was one of the "family elders" who supported the pro-war faction such as Hanzo.
In order to delay the development and actions of the pro-war faction, the pro-peace faction joined forces with major powers to assassinate the pro-war faction, and Muzan was one of the pro-war faction members who was assassinated.
He, the leader of the Hidden Rain Village, was a member of the peace faction and also participated in the assassination.
In a sense, he was the murderer of Kumokawa's father.
"Lord Musashi, why are you so surprised?"
Kumokawa tilted his head, still smiling, but without any smile in his eyes: "Didn't you know that I was still alive a long time ago?"
"Or did you just not expect that I could stand in front of you?"
"How arrogant." Kumokawa chuckled, "Old man."
Upon hearing this, Musashi's face turned pale and then blue.
Musashi's enemy?
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
In an instant, this thought flashed through Hanzo's mind, and the look he gave Musashi became playful.
An enemy who is so young but possesses such superb swordsmanship, it is hard to imagine what this young man has been carrying to get to this point, allowing him to grow to this level in such a short time.
If Hanzo's attitude towards Kumokawa was one of wait-and-see and disdain when he first heard about his existence, the strength and potential shown by Kumokawa now are enough to make him become friendly and curious.
A noble without power is not worth paying attention to even if he can gain a foothold, but a strong man with great power and influence is worth his attention.
At least for now, the two people's positions are not yet in opposition.
Also, the cat on his shoulder, if he hadn't been hit by the illusion just now...
The cat actually spoke?
"You little devil..."
Noticing the strange looks from the people behind him and his past dirty deeds being exposed, Musashi's expression became a little ugly.
Only a few people knew about this matter, and they were all subordinates of the daimyo.
"I am also sorry for your father's death, but his death was not caused by me."
Musashi forced himself to cheer up, and said loudly with great righteousness: "I have not sent people to the north to wipe out your forces because I feel sorry for your father!"
"I had hoped that you could stay in the north and I would look for you when the situation eased. But now you suddenly came here uninvited and said these inexplicable words."
"I don't know what you want to do, but this is not the place for you to do evil!"
Listening to Musashi's righteous and stern words, Kumokawa couldn't help but reveal a sarcastic look.
"Do not misunderstand."
Under the gaze of the crowd, Kumokawa looked at Musashi, whose forehead was covered with a layer of sweat, and smiled faintly: "I just wanted to come and watch the show."
"After all, I am a member of the Land of Rain. I cannot turn a blind eye to some traitors who are so righteous and high-sounding, and I cannot sit idly by while some people drag the Land of Rain into the abyss."
This little brat with a bad mouth and bad manners!
Musashi almost failed again. He took a deep breath and scolded, "It's not your turn to judge my decision, little brat!"
"Why should we hand over the supplies to Konoha?"
"Because we don't have that many resources to hand over. Since we don't have much, why not hand it all over?"
"Every decision I made was to protect the lives of the majority of the people and to accumulate strength to wait for the opportunity to resist the great power in the future. This is also a last resort!"
"No, this is not a stopgap measure." Facing the so-called stopgap measure, Kumokawa just shook his head and replied calmly, "You are just wishful thinking, self-righteous right-wing capitulationism."
Capitulationism means that when faced with a political struggle, one chooses to give up the struggle and resort to peaceful and compromising means, and instead caters to the interests and needs of the aggressors, abandons principles, surrenders to them and betrays fundamental interests.
Musashi's actions and views are typical of capitulationism.
"Oh, yes, you are counting on Konoha's protection."
As if he had thought of something, Kumokawa couldn't help but smile and asked, "You don't really think that their verbal promises are really useful and trustworthy, do you?"
Hearing this, Musashi was stunned for a moment, frowned and said, "Isn't it?"
That is the protection of a great country and a promise made by the daimyo.
"Hahahaha!" Kumokawa, who rarely showed emotional fluctuations, actually laughed out loud after hearing his words.
Immediately, under the astonished gaze of the crowd, Kumokawa's laughter suddenly stopped, and he sneered: "That's why I say that you, old man, are really stupid!"
"If Konoha's promise was really credible, if Konoha could really provide shelter, the tragedy of Whirlpool Country would not have happened!"
"It is absolutely unacceptable to only talk about unity without talking about struggle."
"Struggling for peace is the right way!" Kumokawa raised the sword in his hand, pointed it at Musashi who looked grim, and said coldly, "If you can't do it, then step down and we will take over!"
"Otherwise, I will use a broom to sweep your old-time garbage into the trash can!"
